Reincarnated With A Minecraft Realm

Chapter 29 - 029 - Ruins...

After what felt like hours of climbing we finally reached the peak of the mountain.

From this height, I could see far in every direction and towards the north, I could see a valley in the middle with some flat land and another but a shorter mountain to the north.

Beyond that northern mountain, I couldn't see anything but the mountain peak.

"You're saying your village is located in that valley?" I asked.

"Yes," One of them responded.

"Sigh...fine, let's go find that village," I told them with a sigh before I began my descent.

Finding that we descended the mountain at a much faster speed than we climbed we soon reached the valley and the oak/birch forest that filled the valley.

Walking through the forest I asked "Do any of you know the exact location of your village? Otherwise, we will just be wandering this forest for hours..." I asked.

"I-I know how to get to the village from here," Lucy responded shily.

"Then lead the way," I told her motioning her to lead us.

With her taking the lead she led us through the forest as if she memorized everything in the forest from memory.

Within 15 minutes she said we were close and in the distance, I could see a clearing and some kind of wall.

There were countless holes in the walls making the walls useless in providing protection.

"How...long have you all been zombies? Because it looks like it's been many years since anyone lived here..." I asked.

Noticing how they stayed silent I didn't ask any more questions and carefully approached the ruined village.

Walking towards the wall I pulled out the two diamonds that held the Iron Golems I tossed the diamonds onto the floor and watched as two beams of grey light shinned from the diamonds before flying out of the diamonds and form the giant Iron Golems.

Looking at the two large Iron Golems I commanded "Golem #1, I want you to search around the wall and see if there is anything of importance, Golem #2 you will follow me into the Village, if there are any threats you are free to attack."

I then looked over at the three and asked "Do any of you want to come in with me? Before you decide, it could be dangerous and I cannot guarantee your safety," I warned them.

"We...we must see what has happened to our home," John stated with some sadness.

I sighed and told them to follow close behind me.

As we neared the wall I sent the Iron Golem through the hole in the wall and make sure there was no threat.

Frozen buildings and ground with mounds of Gold scattered about and resting at the center of the village in a collapsed house was a giant...frost dragon...

'God damn it...' I cursed in my mind.

Standing behind me the others froze as well upon seeing the majestic beast known as a Dragon.

I turned around and motioned them to be quiet and slowly back away from the village.

They fearfully nodded and began to slowly back away in fear.

Silently backing away we all were nearly free from the village but then I hear a crack.

CRACK!

Twitching my eyes I turn around to find that Lucy stepped on a random a.s.s stick on the ground.

Turning back around to look at the dragon I couldn't help curse, "F.u.c.k..."

With its eyes opened wide and its nose puffing out bitter wind I couldn't help but shout, "RUN!"

Seeing me and the others under attack the Iron Golem bravely manipulated the iron in its body to create javelins to throw at the Dragon, and within moments the thrown javelins made the sound of clashing metal and were deflected from the Dragon's scales.

And immediately after the Iron Golem was turned into a popsicle from the Frost Dragon's bitter frost breath.

Rushing out the village with all my might at the corner of my eye I watched as the second iron golem that I sent to look around the walls charging up to the Dragon with an Iron Spear in hand before stabbing at the chasing dragon.

And before our eyes, we watched as the Iron Spear broke upon contact with the Dragon's scales showing yet another reason why Dragons are such formidable creatures...

Seeing that the villagers were actually slower than me and did not have a player's constitution I mentally cursed before summoning a flame.

"Come get me you overgrown lizard!" I shout before throwing the flame towards the frost dragon.

Knowing full well that the fire would do absolutely nothing to such a creature I immediately began running in a different direction with a dragon hot on my tail.

You see unlike the Villagers I have the fortune of a feature called respawning, and I really doubt they have such a thing as well since they are not players...

So in order to give them a chance to survive, I aggroed the pissed-off Frost Dragon and ran away from the group hoping they would survive and make it back to base because I sure do doubt I will...
