Reincarnated With A Minecraft Realm

Chapter 30 - 030 - A Human-flavored Popsicle? No thanks!

[John the ???????????????????????? Village Builder's POV]

"Come get me your overgrown lizard!" Shouted our Savior as he summoned a flame in his hand and threw it towards the Frost Dragon.

We watched as we ran as the Flame slammed into the dragon's face before dispersing.

The Frost Dragon instantly switched targets to our savior and began to chase after him as he ran away from us.

"What is he doing?!" Kyle shouted stopping.

"Why is he drawing the dragon away from us?!" Lucy shouted with clear sadness in her tone.

"He...he is sacrificing himself so we can survive..." I state grimly.

"But why? Why would he do something like this for us, strangers who he met only yesterday?!" Shouted Kyle.

"I don't know...but we can't let his sacrifice be in vain...we should return to his base before nightfall..." I responded with sadness in my voice.

...

Meanwhile dashing through the forest with all my might I looked back to see a Dragon just above me about to release yet another breath attack.

Using my Mana I strengthened my body and used a spell to fling myself to the side at a great speed causing the area I was running at just a moment ago to turn into ice...

"God damn your persistent!" I shout in anger as the Dragon relentlessly tried to kill me as it chased me.

The only thing keeping me alive right now is the trees that blocked the Dragon from getting closer to me.

Of course, it could land and start chasing me by foot but even it knew that it would lose me quickly if it did so.

So, it harassed me from above hoping to wear me out and kill me when I become too exhausted to dodge or escape.

I looked up my mana bar and found that it was at an astounding level 12, just the day before I was at level 10 in magic but I have already leveled up so many times, I can also tell that the quantity of mana I can hold as indeed increased, but I am low on Mana and would soon run out.

Looking up to see the dragon still chasing me I cursed and thought to myself "I swear to f.u.c.k.i.n.g god those three better survive! If they don't I am definitely going to be pissed if I will lose two diamonds for nothing!"

Not feeling the slightest bit of fatigue and my hunger bar still over half full I continued to run and run and run...

For hours I ran from the dragon eating food from time to time to refill my lost hunger from running and seeing the night sky darken above me I sighed and continued to run seeing the dragon still persistently chasing me.

"Are f.u.c.k.i.n.g serious? Just because we accidently woke you up you're still trying to kill me?! It's been hours! Just give up already you damned lizard!" I cursed loud enough for the dragon to hear.

Even I could see that the Dragon could go on for days and I certainly don't have enough food to survive.

Well, the good news is after these last couple of hours I have raised my strength by a small degree, with the hours passing and my mana constantly regenerating and being used to help me run and dodge, both my mana capacity and my own body has improved!

My muscles were strengthened and compacted and my mana level went from level 12 to level 15.

But although my mana capacity is increasing all the time I cannot ever reach over 25% because of the damned dragon chasing me.

If I tried I could accurately hit a small target with my simple flame spell but due to the spell's low power, I can't even deal a minuscule amount of damage to the dragon.

Then it hit me, I felt so stupid for not thinking about it after all this time of being chased, I could return to the normal world and then return to Minecraft in the morning, essentially escaping the dragon!

Man, I feel so stupid!

Looking up at the dragon I prepared to make my great escape.

Dodging behind a tree that blocked the Dragon's vision I immediately returned to the real world leaving behind a momentarily confused dragon that began raging and destroying the forest due to my sudden disappearance.

Once I found myself in the real world I sighed and dropped down to the ground with fatigue.

As I have said before, I don't really feel any physical fatigue, just mental.

Being chased by a fearsome dragon for hours is quite exhausting, especially since I had to dodge out of the way of its breath attacks every couple of seconds.

With exhaustion I made sure I was safe before setting up camp for the night.
