Chapter 41: WHY HIM?
"So, tell me why? From the men Alicia has been on dates with, you had to specifically hook her up with Liam Walker." Noah snickered internally and continued with, "He has a reputation which I don\'t particularly like Chris, you know this."
Chris was speechless, what exactly did he know? He was also against the whole hook up of his sister and that man surnamed Walter.
Edward interrupted the conversation with, "I was the one who brought Liam here, he and little Ally have a few things to explain to me. But for now, lets get them well acquainted together." Noah gazed at Edward intently without saying any words and simply got off his seat and left the lounge silently.
When he reached the front lawn of the house, he found Jennifer who was seating alone looking at the distant silently. He wanted to ask what was on her mind, but the closer he got to her he felt an uneasy emotion oozing out of her. She had a quite smile on her lips yet her eyes were filled with tears. She did not weep even a single tear, yet she looked like she had cried her eyes out.
Noah was unsure of how to react to the whole situation thus he planned to turn to the opposite direction to give her the privacy she needed, yet the moment he halted next to her, Jennifer said, "She grew fonder of you than I had thought she would. I hope you give her the kindness you couldn\'t give the first sister Noah. When she does remember her memories, .... don\'t do what you did last time."
After saying those words, Jennifer stood from her seat, smiled at Noah sweetly and said, "You grew up to be a very good young man after all. I guess the years have been kind to you." She then left without turning back until she entered the house again.

BACK AT THE LOUNGE:
"So what\'s your plan about this man surnamed Walter?" Chris bitterly said, he was at most completely tired about Liam, Alicia looked like she was whipped for the man, not to mention that he kept sending chocolate and flowers at the house that it seemed like they were all dating him now.
Edward chuckled lightly at his words and said, "Liam like challenges, it\'s his ONLY weakness, and we know that Alicia is the definition of of a challenge, plus there is something they both know which I haven\'t been able to solve for years now. Just give me a few months, I\'ll tell you everything by then."
Chris nodded slightly and said, "Although I don\'t know what you have been investigating, I really hope this doesn\'t harm Alicia in any way, I don\'t want the smile on her face to disappear again.
