Chapter 40: I HATE HIM
"I thought you didn\'t like James Ally; I remember you said that he had an ulterior motive, didn\'t you?" asked Edward with an irritated look in his eyes.
Alicia simply stared at him for a few seconds and answered with, "He does have an ulterior motive, and I like the guy what\'s wrong with that?"
Edward simply couldn\'t stand what Alicia had clamed and shouted, "I HATE HIM!! I just do."
Alicia rolled her eyes back at Edward. Stood from the bed and started walking towards the door. Just when she was about to head out, she said, "You don\'t hate him, you just don\'t see anything wrong with him and that ticks you off. Just give him a chance, he is a charming young man."
She walked out of the room shamelessly and Edward was left speechless. What did he have to do with the man\'s charm-ness, he simply hated him, there was nothing else.

AT THE OFFICE:
In a very spacious room, there was a desk in the right side of the room with a man sitting on the chair, with a very quiet aura around him. More like he was deep in thought for some reason.
In the opposite side of him was a woman who was looking at him with a very intrigued look in her eyes. He would occasionally look at the woman who was staring at him with a gentle gaze and a smile playing on his lips.
Without wasting anytime Noah asked Noah, "So when will the acquisition of Mathew Company become official? I remember you were very excited about the deal you were going to offer Mr Mathew, so tell me. How did it go with the young man?"
Alicia nodded her head slightly, as she quickly looked down not to have her eyes meet with Noah\'s. Noah smiled at her simple gestures and urged her with a simple tab of his fingers on the table.
Alicia then answered with, "The acquisition can happen next week at the earliest, I still need to check the physical company first, to know what kind of partnership James and I will have to enter into." She quickly stood up from her seat and walked towards Noah with sad eyes and continued with, "With that being said, I need to travel with James to Paris in the weekend so that I can be able finalize everything by Monday morning. So, I wanted to let you know about that, I need to get your opinion about this before I can start with everything."
Noah nodded slightly and looked at the woman who was now standing next to with, she was placing him in a very awkward situation, yet she was still shamelessly claiming that she needed his opinion. He answered her with, "Go ahead with everything that you have planned. Remember to let me know of everything that happens when you get there okay. I won\'t go with you this time, but I need to know about everything you do."
