Gideon\'s face turned red upon remembering what happened.

Damien noticed his complexion and looked away awkwardly. It would seem like Gideon finally recollected his memories. Not going to lie, even Amias had a hard time trying to hide what happened. Although it wasn\'t mentioned to them at all during the meeting, it was pretty obvious how Amias and Kaiden dodged questions related to Gideon. Even more so, Gideon himself just confirmed their speculations by blushing out of nowhere.

"So... You said Kaiden went here today?" The tips of Gideon\'s ears were still red. He was playing with the handkerchief that Liam had given him to calm his emotions. Since he already said it earlier, Damien didn\'t bother hiding it anymore;

"If I\'m not mistaken he visited you earlier this morning. And He would have visited you just now but he said he was feeling unwell"

"He\'s unwell?" Gideon suddenly felt worried for Kaiden.

During the entire time, he had been taking care of him. He felt embarrassed that he was this helpless. And perhaps there was a ball of guilt inside of him building up for thinking that Kaiden would end up the same as the guy in the original story. He knew that no matter how much he wishes it, their paths are bound to converge at one point.

"It\'s not that serious like yours. He just needs to rest, focus on yourself first" Damien stretches his arms and pats Gideon\'s head. Gideon just lets him do so until the man tells him that he needs to go.

"wait before you go! can you tell Stephen that I\'m alright? I don\'t want him to worry" Gideon held Damien\'s sleeves and he just nodded.

"I will just rest more for now" Damien left the room, and Gideon was left alone again.

He thought about his nightmare from earlier and how he couldn\'t tell anyone about Eliam. There were a lot of things that didn\'t make sense now. Why did he suddenly have that kind of dream? What did the original Gideon do again?

Trying to think about it too much made his head pang in pain. There was this weird buzz that could be felt whenever he tried to remember the rest of the novel. It\'s like there\'s a wall blocking him telling him that he needs to unlock certain conditions first.

"But back then I could remember just fine... wait-" a flash of worry suddenly hit him and he tried to remember his sister and family. It was a little bit hazy but he could remember Alice and their parents. As well as the most important part, that he died and he got sent into this world.

What was the reason though?

Amias groaned as he was forced to work with Arda in sorting out paperwork ranging from "Hospitalization Costs" to "Threats of calling off the treaty". Arda herself was not in the best mood since this issue. After all, Luciel scolded her for trying to use her powers to unseal the door as well as using it to separate the Angels and Demons from fighting with each other.

"How are you able to survive doing these things?"

"I use my head instead of my mouth to work" Arda sarcastically comments as she smiled fakely at Amias who had less work than her.

"Hey!" Amias whined and decided to shut up to prove a point to Arda that he can work quietly.

Arda wanted to hum happily because Amias was stupid enough to fall for her taunts.

Damien walked into the room. Arda knew her peacetime will never come until this shit gets solved.

"What are you doing here Damien?"

"I\'m here for Amias"

"Hmm?" Amias who finally focused on his work got distracted once more.

"Why did you keep avoiding telling me the full details of what happened to Gideon?"

"Because the prince requested that we\'d leave him alone. That also includes information that his highness did not disclose to anyone else"

"Man you can just say if they banged or-" Damien\'s face made contact with a folder that Amias used to slap some sense into him. Its contents flew out and fluttered in the air.

Arda got fed up and stood up. She took the folder from Amias and grabbed the two by their ears. The two kept saying "Ow!" as she pulled them out of her office and tossed them out in the hallway.

"IF THE TWO OF YOU ARE GOING TO FIGHT DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE!"

The doors were slammed shut leaving the two men on the floor trying to recover from what just happened.

"I\'M DONE FOR!" Amias suddenly blurted out and grabbed Damien\'s shirt to start shaking him.

"LUCIEL TOLD ME TO HELP OUT ARDA BECAUSE I CAN\'T VISIT YOHANN! SHE\'LL DEFINITELY TELL HIM ON ME AND I\'LL BE PUNISHED" Amias stopped talking because he noticed two of Damien\'s buttons on his shirt were shaking. It suddenly flew out and hits him on the face. Amias fell to the ground and maybe he was only imagining it but he was bleeding as well?

"AMIAS!" Now you had a semi-unconscious man who laid on the ground with a nose bleed and another man who was almost half-naked.

Azazel, who was about to pick up some of the finished works to send over to Luciel\'s side, saw this ordeal. He knew that there was something going on between these two but he didn\'t expect them to be this bold.

"I know we\'re all demons here but you guys could have done this in private"

"IT\'S NOT LIKE THAT!" Amias suddenly became conscious and sat up seeing Azazel looking at him with a weird expression.

"The button on my shirt suddenly flew out and hit him on the face. It\'s my bad." Damien explains and Azazel glanced at his chest. Indeed there were missing buttons on his shirt.

"No need to explain it to me, but clean up the both of you" Azazel turned around and knocked on Arda\'s office door before entering and closing the door behind him.

Amias was quiet, he looked like he was really upset about the situation. Damien stood up and held out a hand to help Amias up as well. Amias took it and muttered a "thank you" to him before disappearing in a cloud of black smoke. Damien couldn\'t help but frown knowing that he made Amias upset.

Gideon had finished eating his dinner a while ago. He wondered just how long was he going to stay here. He had asked the person who delivered him food if he was allowed to roam the place. After much considerations, they allowed him to do so. He wasn\'t wearing his suit anymore, and instead wore comfortable pajamas that definitely did not suit a patient and some comfortable slippers. First, he walked around his room and there were first aid kits here. There were also snacks and water that the servant from earlier brought in for him. He looked around more and his things were nowhere to be seen.

"maybe Kaiden has them" he mumbled. He didn\'t want to face Kaiden but it would be terrible to do that to the person who saved you and nursed you to health.

And so he left the room and looked around. There weren\'t any other patients in the nearby rooms. All but one that was two rooms away from his. He took a peek from the door since it had windows in it and saw that there was a man inside. He was patting the person who was sleeping on his side. He must have sensed that someone was looking at him and immediately looks in Gideon\'s direction. Gideon wanted to hide but he was caught, the guy\'s senses were fast. He puts a finger to his lips making a "shh" pose and Gideon nods. The man smiled and Gideon smiled before waving goodbye.

"I shouldn\'t be bothering their privacy" Gideon lets out a sigh as he continued to walk around.

He hasn\'t been in this part of the castle and to his guess, Kaiden never thought Gideon would end up here in the first place. Gideon noticed that the area where he was confined had fewer people. He drew that conclusion because the more he explored, the more patients he saw. It was depressing, their conditions weren\'t the best as well.

"Sir you can\'t be here" said a person who must be a nurse in this area.

"Oh, I lost my way..." Gideon replied to the nurse.

"Which area did you come from?" She looked at him up and down because his attire looked that of a patient but his clothes were more comfortable.

"I don\'t know. I was trying to look for Kaiden"
