Dwarf Village in the Refrigerator
Chapter 2
There was a ridge, snow field, coniferous forest and a mountain scenery can be scene overlapping inside the freezer.
It looks like a mirage being projected inside the freezer with the boundary extending beyond the freezer walls.
The strangest of all were the little people wandering around in the freezer.
“Make the column upright! Its tilted!”
“No the ground is not even and it doesn’t feel right!”
“Who mowed the ground? What’s wrong with him!”
“The tree is going down…..damage to…”
The little people were busy. The were cutting down the trees, building houses, etc.
‘What’s this….they look…”
Suho carefully examined their appearance. Wide shoulders, short height, short arms and legs and shaggy beard half-covering the face.
‘It’s just like a Dwarf from the movies.’
“It’s too windy. I hope the furnace is okay.”
“Of course. It’s blessed by the God of Blacksmith.”
“As long there isn’t a Ice Dragon, there would be no problem to the furnace. Don’t worry, just work!”
They made a lot of noise as they built their village. I don’t think they are speaking Korean but I think I can understand everything they say. Come to think of their syllables were different from Korean.
‘Is this because of the awakening?’
Awakening.
It’s a basic condition to be a hunter. It helps in the realization of the super powers with the help of a System.
The Dimensional Traveller.
Every Hunter gets a class at the moment of their awakening. Class defines the future growth of a hunter.
Suho’s class is Dimensional Traveller. It look grand but he needs to take a closer look.
After a hunter with ‘Beggar’ who had been ignored, overturned his life, the tendency to judge the class by their dictionary meaning has disappeared.
“I think its because of the Unique skill that it all makes sense.”
Unique Skill that is a special skill gained in relation to your class. It cannot be awakened without having the class first.
It’s the opposite of the general skills that can be obtained from items and all.
His unique skill was [Communication.]
It seems that it had to do something with him understanding the Dwarves.
“Huh?”
An exclamation came out of his mouth as he was lost in his thoughts. It was because another messaged came to his mind.
[Dimensional Panel activated.]
[Call the dimensional panel to check status.]
Dimensional Panel?
I have heard about the status window but never heard of the dimensional panel.
As soon as this question came to his mind, a dimensional panel appeared in front of him.
A translucent screen like a whiteboard. Various texts are floating on it.

Keeping that in mind, I listened to their voices once again.
“I have heard of it but I just can’t believe it because this is the land of the Crazy Dragon.”
“But the God said we have to come here and then we will be safe. Even if we stayed back, no good would have come out of it.”
“I know. I can’t help it. I am just nervous.”
“Yes. I wish I could get away from this damn cold.”
“Ugh, I don’t want to work because of this cold.”
The dwarves were whining.
‘Its cold.’
Before I had noticed, it was dusk in the freezer. The temperature dropped further because of the sunset. Will they be satisfied in this cold?
Just as Suho was thinking about it, an unexpected message came to his mind.

-Red Hammer Dwarves who had just moved to the Balance Mountains are in trouble because of the severe cold. Stop the cold so that the Red Hammer Dwarves can finish their migration.
Reward: Increase of the Satisfaction of Dwarves and a Unique Skill.
Suho confirmed the dimensional mission. He had been curious about the role of those missions and how were they acquired and now his curiosity was solved.
‘If you figure out the problem with the Dwarves, there would be a mission.’
Anyways, since I got the mission, I have to complete it.
The reward is a unique skill. Suho thought about it.
How to deal with the cold?’
‘Put a hot pack? Or Blow in some warm air with Dryer?’
At that moment.
‘There is an easy way.’
Just like the old-fashioned refrigerator, there was a cold control lever in the corner of the Freezer.
‘Wouldn’t it be less cold if I lower the lever?’
Suho reached for the lever and at that moment there was mayhem.

“Monster! Monster! Be ready for battle!”

The dwarves were in chaos and ran wildly all over the place. Suho was surprised and raised his hand.

Suddenly he remembered a cartoon which he saw at his school. It was about a giant who ate men.
He was at a loss. They are so surprised so he can’t even control the lever.
While Suho was agonizing over it, there was a Dwarf who showed an unexpected behaviour.
The dwarf with the biggest beard, upto his navel shouted as he approached the Freezer door.
“I am Tarunga, the chief of the Red Hammer Tribe. Who are you!”
He was talking to me. Isnt he?
I can understand him so maybe I can talk. I feel like I have found a solution.
Suho quickly opened his mouth.
“Hello, I am Won Suho. I am a human.”
“Human? Are you a giant?”
“I am just a human.”
“…”
Tarunga is speechless because he saw a huge hand but he said he is just a human. Suho ignored the stiff Dwarf and continued,
“I think the world which you live in and my world are somehow connected.”
“What do you meant the worlds are connected?”
“I have got a special ability….I am not trying to hurt you in any way. I think what I was trying to help you but it surprised you.”
I was going to talk about the Skill but I stopped. It was better to first announce that there was no hostility.
“You are going to help us? How are you going to do it….”
Tarunga last words were clouded. How can I help you?
You are talking as if I am gonna eat you.
“I will help you get away from the cold.”

Tarunga was surprised.
‘How can he let go off the cold! Don’t tell me that this giant can control Climates.’
“What’s wrong?”
Suho carefully asked. Even if its just because of the Dimensional mission, he should not fall out with the Dwarf.
Tarunga answered in a more polite manner.
“Are you trying to control the weather here at Balanca Mountains?”
“Uh…well, yes. I can’t guarantee it but it will be less cold.”
If it doesn’t work out, I will turn on the dryer.
“I see. So you put out your hands earlier for the sake of using Magic.”
“Its not a Magic. Anyways, can I try again?”
“Of course, we will stand aside.”
Tarunga led the Dwarves to the corner.
“Then I will do it. Don’t be shocked.”
Suho reached into the freezer, turned down the lever to the lowest point and the coldness gradually diminished.
“Oh, the wind has stopped.”
“Gee, its really less cold!”
“Wow! The giant beat the cold.”
“Are you really a wizard with Climate Control?!”
There was a stir among the Dwarves
‘I have done it.’
Suho was half surprised and half happy. At the same time a message appeared in his mind.
