Dwarf Village in the Refrigerator

Chapter 3

There are many ways to acquire Skills. Some can be acquired by hunting monsters and some by levelling up. In some cases, it is obtained by using items.

However there is one thing common to all Hunters and that is Unique Skills are important for his growth.

‘I have got another unique skill.’

So Suho was surprised. Dimensional Missions. He can get a Unique Skill by completing them.

Trade? How does it work?

Suho checked out the new skill.

[Information]

-Goods can be exchanged with other Races.

‘I can deal with the Dwarves now?’

This is good stuff. Dwarves are blacksmiths. They are busy building right now but they will make stuff soon right?

Since they are dwarves, the quality won’t be low.

Suho’s lips curled up.

“It’s warm. I can work hard now.”

“Oh it’s amazing. Oh, look over there, the snow is melting.”

“Its spectacular. It reminds me of the drinks!”

Tarunga approached from among the excited Dwarves.

“Thank you giant. We are indebted to you.”

“Its nothing.”

“I am afraid so that its a big deal. I never thought I will see this in my entire life. You are really amazing.”

Tarunga loudly laughed. When he first saw the huge hands, he thought, “So this is how the clan would be destroyed.”

But that wasn’t the case. The giant hand was not of a monster but of a savoir from Heaven.

‘Is it because of the giant that we were told to come here?’

Tarunga’s eyes lit up with interest.

While the Chief Dwarf was lost in thought, Suho observed him.

‘This guy. His eyes feel strangely off. Can he not see my side?’

Suho immediately asked the question.

“Tarunga, can you not see me?”

“That’s true. The space on your side is dim and irregular.”

Tarunga replied and he has a very polite attitude. A climate controlling wizard. Besides he must have been the one which Oracle pointed to.

Suho was still cautious. He acquired skills by fulfilling their minor wishes, he couldn’t be rude.

“That’s right but is there anything else you need?”

“No we would not want to bother the giant. The weather is warm so I am afraid that we don’t need anything else right now.”

Tarunga replied.

‘Does this mean that there are no more Dimensional missions? That is too bad.’

As Suho was lost in his hunger for the mission, someone jumped out from Tarunga’s side. He was a giant with shiny head and sparkling eyes.

He shouted in an innocent tone.

“Giant I would like a drink from your place!”

A message appeared in front of Suho.

[You have acquired the Dimensional Mission ‘Increase motivation to Work.’]

[Check out the panel for more details.]

‘It’s a mission.’

Suho’s eyes lit up. He quickly opened the dimensional panel to confirm the mission.

[Increase motivation to Work]

-The Dwarves are doing heavy manual labour to build their village. Deliver them a form of consolation to cheer them up.

Reward: Increase of satisfaction of Red Hammer Dwarves. A reward from Tarunga.

As the title suggests, it a mission to encourage the Dwarves. It was clearly what it meant when you recall the words of the Dwarf who suddenly appeared.

‘They are asking for a drink.’

While Suho was looking at the mission, Tarunga shouted in a surprised voice.

“You ….Bold…What is this all of a sudden? Don’t be rude to the giant!”

“Giant! I am sorry! Don’t be angry but I still want a drink.”

“Bold you are still continuing!”

At this point there is no need to ask what is needed to cheer up the dwarves. Suho quickly intervened in their conversation.

“Don’t blame him, Tarunga. It’s all right.”

“But as it is we owe you so much just for getting rid of the cold……”

“That’s fine and would you like to try this?”

Suho picked up a beer can which was still lying on the floor. The moment he tried getting the can into the freezer, he felt a little bit of resistance.

[Do you want to trade this item with the Red Hammer Dwarves?]

[Accept/Reject]

A message appeared in his mind.

‘What if I say no like this?’

Suho quickly refused. Still the bear can went into the freezer.

‘Oh! If I refuse then it doesn’t enter that dimension.’

A beer can was placed on the other side of the freezer. As if being shot by the video projector, the beer can and the Dwarf world overlapped. However, the Dwarves didn’t see the can of beer.

Suho took out the can and put it back in. The same message appeared in his mind.

‘Accept Trade’

As Suho answered, a beer can appeared at Tarunga’s feet. One thing caught Suho’s attention.

“It shrunk.”

The size of the beer can has been reduced to fit the size of the Dwarves.

“If you trade things then their sizes will change to match the world.”

Suho understood the function of his ability ‘Trade’

Then the Dwarf Chief, Tarunga asked in a surprised voice.

“Ugh! Giant. What is this?”

“It’s alcohol. If you tilt the handle over the top, the lid opens and you can drink it.”

“Oh, that’s a strange way.”

As expected from a Dwarf. With a simple explanation, he understood the structure and succeeded in opening the lid in no time.

Tarunga quickly took a sip of the beer but his expression is ambiguous. Suho had a hunch.

“Don’t you like it?”

Just by looking at them, they seem someone who would pour in Vodka so wouldn’t the beer be a bit bland?

“It’s okay. It tastes great enough.”

Tarunga replied while trying to manage his facial expressions. Bold took the can of beer, drank it and shouted.

“Giant is this water? Why is it so bland?”

“Ugh, Bold. Again!”

That’s right. Suho quickly opened his mouth.

“Wait a minute. I will give you something else in a minute.”

“You don’t have to…”

I can’t quit. The Dimensional Mission is at stake.

‘I am going to have to hurry up and get a drink to get my reward.’

Unlike last time, the reward wasn’t a Unique Skill. However, it said reward from Tarunga. It’s a reward from the Dwarf Chieftain.

‘Lets go and get a drink.’

Suho hurriedly picked up his coat.

***

30 Bottles.  Suho bought soju at the supermarket and brought it with him.

“Ha Ha Ha, its nice and refreshing to drink this.”

“It’s not bland and delicious. He He.”

“Come on hurry up and finish work right now!”

The dwarves were excited and shouted with the wine bottles and then they hung the 1.8 litres bottle around their waist.

Clack! Clack! Clack!

There were sounds of them working. There were occasional scenes of them sipping the soju from time to time.

‘I am so proud of this.’

Suho felt good seeing all the Dwarves excited. Of course it wasn’t only about feeling good.

[Red Hammer Dwarves]

-Affiliated Dimension: ESKJ-0702L

-Population: 23

-Satisfaction: 70/100

‘I can’t believe it that bring them drinks makes their satisfaction rise by 25.’

When he adjusted the climate, it went up by 30, not much different from the Soju.

How much do they like the alcohol?

Suho smirked.

“By the way, the item which I received as a reward doesn’t seem to be ordinary as well.”

As soon as the mission was completed, Tarunga handed over something to Suho.

-Right now, the only thing which I can offer you is Firewater.

-It’s an item made by our tribal vision. It’s a medicinal water that the children drink at their coming of age ceremony. Please accept it.

Saying that he held out a bottle the size of my fingernail. There was a shiny red liquid inside it.

Suho stared at the [Firewater] and an explanation came to his mind.

After checking out the info, Suho tilted his head.

‘Is my memory wrong?’

Few days ago, Korea’s first 5-star dungeon was attacked. Items dropped by the Boss monsters are hot topic every day.

Thanks to it, Suho roughly remembered the information about the items.

‘I don’t think there is much difference between Firewater and 5-star dungeon drop. I will have to check it out.’

Suho placed down the Firewater on the bed and picked up his smartphone. It was easy to find article related to it.

[Icarus Guild clears the 5-star Dungeon]

-Icarus Guild, one of the three largest guilds in Korea has cleared a 5 star dungeon in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do. The guild master of the Icarus Guild, Hunter Minje Kang…

The article continued on. A picture of a man holding a whip was attached at the bottom.

-[Thorn Whip] Its obtained by killing the Dungeon Boss and it has unusual options. There is no user in their guild who can use it so there is a rumour going on that it will be auctioned off…

At the end of the article, the information about the item was revealed.

The article had thousands of comments.

-There are two skills attached to this rare item? How the hell is that possible?

-Wow! Crazy! Look at the stats! I think that’s about as great as the items get.

-No its not the best. There is the Hero grade above the rate grade. This is because the Rankers didn’t reveal it but there are high level items overseas.

Grades:

Poor

Common

Uncommon

Rare

This is the grade list which has been released to the public so far. Rumours that a Hero grade exists about the Rare grade are being constantly being spread.

-My acquaintance is a Ranker and this is the highest level drop among the Rare grades. If it was not a whip which is a rare weapon for people, the information won’t be revealed in the first place.
