Kate POV:

I wake up startled. It was just a dream... I get a phone call from Asher. And he asked me about getting him a ride home. Just like in my dream... But how? I just say yes but I didn't trust the short way so I told my dad to take the long way. It would take us 20 minutes to get there.

While we were headed to the hospital, I can't help but think about Asher...

(21 minutes later)

Asher POV:

"Where am I gonna go!" I look around running through hallways not knowing where I'm going. Then I realize that there was no point to running away... My life was pointless. So I stopped running and let my dad catch up with me.

"Shithead!!" my dad grabbed me by the neck and started choking me. I couldn't breath or process what was going on. Maybe I just wanted to die.

Everything went black.

Then I start hearing a voice...

"My love... Wake up..."

I woke up at my house in bed. I assumed that I was grounded. I still had my phone so I opened my messages and got a couple of messages from Kate.

Kate: Hey I'm outside waiting with my dad are you coming out? (3:33)

Kate: I'm sorry but my dad is pissed he wants to leave now sorryyyyy (3:56)

I felt bad making them wait that long do I apologized.

Asher: hey I'm sorry about what happened. Some personal issues came over. (6:51)

Kate: OMG Asher I was so worried! uwu hey are you going to Hans' party??? (6:51)

Asher: sorry I don't think I'll be able to go. (6:51

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

I hear a couple of knocks coming from my room window. When I opened the curtain I see Hans. I open the window surprised. "Hans?? What are you doing here???" I ask.

"I tried to enter through the front door, but your dad said you weren't available right now. So I went around." Hans started laughing.

"Oh my gosh Hans your like a man who's desperate to see a woman" I started to laugh with Hans.

"So are you able to come to my party?" Hans asked. I thought for a moment.

"... I can't but I'll sneak out. But only this once okay." I smiled at Hans. Then I climbed out my window, but as I was doing that I tripped and fell.

"Asher!!" Hans caught me with his broad arms.

He held me in his arms and we both made romantic eye contact... "Hans..... Umm can we hurry." I got distracted for a while but reminded Hans about the party.

"Oh right, sorry haha" Hans nervously chuckled as he put me down gently.

We walked to his house.

(at Hans' house)

When we got there I didn't see Kate anywhere... Kate! I forgot! I opened my messages.

Kate: well if you aren't going then I won't okay ???? (6:52)

I decided to just leave her on read even though I'd highly regret that.

"Hey Asher come in my room. We are gonna play spin the bottle." Hans called me over to his room. When I entered there were 2 other girls. One named Catherine and the other Claire.

"This is gonna be fun." Hans laughed.

We all sat down on the ground with a bottle in the middle. Claire was first. We spun the bottle and it landed on Hans. So Claire and Hans had to kiss.

"Well alright." Hans and Claire quickly kissed. But it didn't feel like it was a good one.

"Next is me" Catherine said. She spun the bottle and it pointed to Claire.

"Ooooo" Catherine looked at Claire.

"Let's just get it over with." Claire and Catherine started to kiss, but this kiss was different from the other one. They were legitimately kissing.

"I'm next!" Hans spun the bottle. I couldn't believe it. It pointed at me.

"...Umm well—" I was so nervous.

"Hey Asher. Everything alright?" Hans looked to check if I was ok.

"Yeah... So does this mean we—" Hans interrupted me and just started kissing me. Our lips pressed against each other and Hans was warm. He took the kissing to the next level and he started to place his hand on my cheek. The kiss didn't end. He pushed me on the ground and started to remove my shirt, but I couldn't handle any of this. I slapped him.

Catherine and Claire both stared at us.

"Asher... I'm... Sorry. I didn't realize I was—"

"Just stop Hans... Ugh why did I even come here in the first place?!" I stood up and walked out the room.
