The Werewolf Prince is My Pet!

Chapter 4 - The Werepom Prince

"Tell me about your origin. You said that the vampires are hunting you, right?"

"Yes, Sir! I\'m here to stay for some time, Sir!" Pomeranian Alpheus replied.

"Then there must be a reason for it. Tell me the reason why did they chase you?"

"Un, there is a reason, Sir! That\'s because—" Pomeranian Alpheus suddenly paused. He looked around, full of alert. In his Pomeranian form, he did a small jump to check his surrounding, which got Junshik curious.

"What? What are you looking at?"

Alpheus didn\'t answer, but he suddenly growled to the blank wall in front of him, "Grrrr…."

Junshik followed Alpheus\' line of sight. There was nothing in front of them. But he knew that dog had a very sharp sense. Did he see a ghost? Or maybe something else?

Cha Junshik gulped. He wasn\'t really a fan of ghosts, honestly. In fact, he was a bit of a scaredy-cat, "W—What did you see? Is it ghost?"

"Arf! Arf! Are!" Pomeranian Alpheus barked a few times. After making sure, he finally turned back at Junshik with his tongue stuck out. "No, Sir, I\'m just checking whether there is a vampire around because some of them can turn invisible!"

"Ah… phew," Junshik sighed, relieved that it wasn\'t a ghost, at least. "So you can see through their guise?" he asked.

"Um… I cannot do that, Sir. I\'m not skillful enough to see them without a full moon, Sir!" Alpheus replied.

"Then why did you bark to the wall just know?"

"Just for a pretense, Sir! It\'s to scare the intruder, in case there is any since I will be telling important information, Sir!" Alpheus replied.

"So you can\'t see anything?"

"Cannot, Sir!"

Okay, Junshik really thought this werepom was capable of doing anything other than transforming into this black Pomeranian, turned out he was even worse than a real dog.

He couldn\'t detect anything!

Cha Junshik facepalmed, feeling stupid that he had actually trusted a Werepom for a moment.

"Okay, fine, now just answer me. Why did the vampire chase you?" Junshik tried to imagine the possibility, could it be a war between Werepom and Vampire?

But this man literally transformed into a Pomeranian amongst all kinds of dog and wolf breeds. Why would they chase this guy?

Alpheus still felt a bit unsafe telling the truth towards the lord of the house so directly because he didn\'t want to be seen as arrogant of his status.

So he said, "Sir! Please pick me up!"

"Huh?"

"Arf! Arf! Pick me up!"

"Aish, this little werepom…." Junshik complained, but he heeded the request and picked the Pomeranian. Alpheus rested on Junshik\'s collarbone as he finally spilled the reason why the vampires were chasing him relentlessly.

Alpheus lowered his voice, almost mumbling, "Alphie is a prince from my royal clan. My family has been slain by those vampires, and I am the only surviving member. They want to end the rule of my clan and become the new ruler in my kingdom."

"I am saved by my uncle, who\'s a wizard, so he teleported my body into this random place. That\'s why I beg you to let me hide in this place for a while, at least until there is a call from my wizard uncle…."

Alpheus told the reason briefly but clear enough for the lord of the house to understand his reason. He thought, as long as he showed his honesty to the lord of the house, he would be spared and was allowed to live here.

"… you\'re… a prince?"

"Yes, Sir!"

"A werepom prince?"

"Wha—No! I\'m a werewolf prince, Sir!" Alpheus somehow felt offended that he got called werepom prince. "I am actually very strong in my clan, Sir!"

"Uh—Huh… okay…."

Junshik still couldn\'t believe this dog was a prince. He just didn\'t have any sign of regal bearing, or maybe because he was a literal Pomeranian right now…

Well, prince or not, that didn\'t matter much, because this dog was still inside his apartment, so he had to obey his rule.

Cha Junshik stared at the Pomeranian. He never had co-lived with anyone else, let alone with a werewolf that he self-proclaimed he was.

He was ready to accept this guy first, at least let him stay for a few days for shelter.

But he also had one question before he accepted this dog, "About those vampires, will they attack me if you stay here for too long?"
