Jian Kang Lu feels satisfied with the dinner. Even though he really really really wants to spend the night just together with his kitten, he knows that he already promised his kitten friend\'s and that time there is no right moment to invite them.

It doesn\'t mean he wants to impress his kitten\'s friends or family. He just wants to make his kitten feel more comfortable. He already knows that his kitten is a straight man. Because one time they\'re talking about his kitten\'s miserable love life.

At the first time, he truly wanted to bend his kitten. But now he feels that he enjoys their time together like this. He doesn\'t want to ruin this kind of relationship he had right now with his kitten. He wants to let the time flow telling him what kind of this journey will take him. But then lately, he scared to lose his kitten if one day his kitten know that he was gay.

That\'s why he tried to befriend his kitten\'s friend too.. If one day his kitten knows and is scared of him, he could say that he only thinks of him as a friend. Just like Yu Dong, Tang Yuxuan, and Liu Xiang.

The dinner went well. They all enjoy and praise the food and the ambience. Yu Dong particularly likes the desert. At first he was embarrassed to admit that he was a dessert lover. But once Jian Kang Lu told him that the dessert here listed as one of the best dessert in the country, he throw that embarrassed feeling and even order two kind of dessert.

Jian Kang Lu insisted on sending four of them back to the dorm before they meet at the restaurant. That\'s why these four guys decided to keep their souvenirs and gifts from their hometown at the dorm.

While they took their gift from their room upstairs, Bai Yutang accompanied him downstairs. He asks his friends to bring down his gift also.

His kitten smiled shyly at him, and said in a soft voice, "Thank you so much for tonight\'s dinner, Jian Ge. But you don\'t need to do it often. I\'m afraid it was an inconvenience for you."

"I told you, I\'m happy to have companions. Although I prefer just both of us if watching movies. But in moments like eating together, sometimes the more is the merrier." Jian Kang Lu said that with a doting tone.

His kitten looked at him, and smiled. After a few seconds, he said, "Me too... For movies, better just both of us. They have a bad habit of talking during the movies."

Somehow, those words made Jian Kang Lu very happy. The happiest moment he felt after this 47 days without seeing his kitten in flesh. His kitten\'s soft and warm voice is best enjoyed by himself, without having to share his kitten\'s voice with another person. It made him feel like the world just made for both of them.

When he heard those words, his eyes gazed at his kitten lips. Suddenly he was reminded of his dreams. The dream when he was kissed by his kitten. He was wondering in a split second, did those pale pink soft petals taste the same like in his dream? Do those thin lips will melted under his tongue, and turn plump from his sucking? And when he drew himself, teasing him with the tip of his tongue, will those lips search for him? Brushing softly before asking for more?

Damn it. Jian Kang Lu already told himself to dedicate this feeling toward his kitten into platonic love. But sometimes his healthy hormones encourage his desires, forget all about platonic for a moment.

Maybe he has to release himself before he meets his kitten? He decided to try that method next time, so he won\'t show any involuntary movement that will frighten his kitten.

When his kitten\'s friends are already downstairs and bringing their gifts, Jian Kang Lu can\'t help but laugh. There were so many. Definitely he can\'t eat those alone.

"Why do you guys give me so many? I live alone and I can\'t even finish all these in the next two weeks. How about this? Tomorrow I\'m going to meet my parents and brother. I will share all of this with them. But if they also can\'t finish these, can I share these to my colleague at the hospital too? But of course i will try a little bit of everything." Jian Kang Lu tries to bargain with them.

"They\'re for you, Jian Ge. You can do everything to these gifts as you see fit." His kitten hurriedly agreed. Maybe because most of these things are from his kitten.

Jian Kang Lu said thank you, and waved them goodbye.

Jian Kang Lu spent his March in peace. He\'s doing his new research, it\'s simple research. Just to compare the effect of each CAPD1 method for people with kidney failure due to diabetes. He just collects the data with some of the immunology markers to find out which method is the best and why.

He was helped by his resident to collect the data, and he predicted the data will be collected in the next three months. He rarely did complicated research, because he didn\'t have any ambition to strive for a better position. Better position only means prestige for him. And he didn\'t really like standing in the spotlight.

He spent every week meeting with his kitten. Once or twice a week. Sometimes also with his kitten\'s friend.

One day in the middle of March, Jian Kang Lu had dinner with his kitten and his friend in a new Japanese fusion restaurant. Unexpectedly he met Zhen Guo and his wife, Luo Jiao. Seeing Zhen Guo, his kitten and his friend suddenly act so weird and nervous. It was like a young girl meeting with their singer idol.

Jian Kang Lu thinks maybe if he was not there, they\'ll be lining up to ask for Zhen Guo\'s signature. Zhen Guo really acts mature compared to Luo Jiao who gives him a signalling look. Her eyebrow raised multiple times for the whole night.

Jian Kang Lu could see from the first moment he saw Yu Dong and Liu Xiang\'s mouth wide open, that they\'re fans of Zhen Guo, Jian Kang Lu invite both of them to sit together and eat together. After all, the table is enough for 8 people.

Before Zhen Guo said anything, Luo Jiao already sat next to Tang Yuxuan. Bai Yutang who sits next to Jian Kang Lu wants to move to give places for Zhen Guo. But Jian Kang Lu rearranged their position. Zhen Guo on his left, across her wife. And his kitten on his right side, across Liu Xiang. Yu Dong was sitting next to his kitten.

Looking at that signalling face of Luo Jiao, Jian Kang Lu really wants to laugh. It seems that she thought the one that Jian Kang Lu pursued was either Tang Yuxuan or Liu Xiang. He knows in other people\'s eyes, maybe his kitten is not as attractive as them. But Jian Kang Lu didn\'t want to satisfy Luo Jiao\'s curiosity and pretend didn\'t see that look on her face.

Zhen Guo appeared calm on the surface, but he silently sent messages to him.

[Don\'t torture my wife or she\'ll torture me tonight. Spare me and just tell her which one.]

Jian Kang Lu just pretend didn\'t know Zhen Guo messages, and introduced these little architects to Zhen Guo. When Zhen Guo heard that they were T university students, he asked a few questions about the professors and they talked about the architecture student life.

Jian Kang Lu laughed, this time he replied to that message.

[I didn\'t hide anything from you, your highness. But I am curious about your talent. Can you tell me which one?]

Jian Kang Lu is grateful at least Zhen Guo is here to divert these little lambs\' attention, or else they\'ll definitely feel that something is wrong with Luo Jiao\'s behaviour. However, Jian Kang Lu also wonders.

\'Is it so obvious? If it was obvious, won\'t it make his kitten afraid?\'

He thinks he needs to give Luo Jiao a call about that after dinner.

They finished the dinner, and Zhen Guo insisted on settling the bills. He said as their senior, it was his right to treat them. Jian Kang Lu just gave the bill to him. He and his friends are not the one who counts money between them. Because all of them are financially well.

When Jian Kang Lu sent these little lambs back to their dorm, these little lambs suddenly changed into little chick. They\'re lively talking about Zhen Guo.

"I think I won\'t wash my hand again, this hand that shakes and touches our God." Yu Dong is still staring at his right hand.

Tang Yuxuan also stared at his right hand, "Do you think our God blessed us and let us borrow his divine power to pass next month\'s mid term exams?"

Liu Xiang replied, "I do wish I could take photographs together with our God. But my tongue is so stiff. We could put that picture and worship our God in our dorm room."

Jian Kang Lu laughed, "Next time, i\'ll ask him to take pictures with you guys. He still owes me some favour."

Tang Yuxuan asked him, "How do you know him, Jian Ge? I don\'t have any friends from the medical faculty. But your friends seem to come from a lot of backgrounds."

Jian Kang Lu answered him, "Zhen Guo likes to read. We met a lot in the library borrowing the same title. So from our small talks about books then lead to heated discussion. He also likes to read some foreign books that are hard to get. Fortunately i have a friend studying abroad. And he latched on to me to get access to those books. Our personality is quite similar. So we hang out together, until now."

His kitten who sat beside him on the passenger seat suddenly said, "Jian Ge\'s friends coming from a lot of background. Just look at us. I bet Mr. Zhen Guo is also wondering why Jian Ge wants to hang out with a bunch of kids like us."

Jian Kang Lu just can\'t help smiling and gazing tenderly at his kitten, but then he straightens his look. He remembers how Luo Jiao guessed correctly.

"Zhen Guo won\'t wonder about that. He likes you guys too. If he doesn\'t like you guys, he won\'t sit with us and have dinner together. I told you his personality just like me. We won\'t bother to hang out with people we don\'t like."

All of them still chat lively until they reach the dorm. They say thank you for the millionth time that night, and Jian Kang Lu just saying that he hopes they will be inspired by Zhen Guo to study better in their next mid term exams.

When Jian Kang Lu was driving home, he called Luo Jiao. "Sister in law, i don\'t dare to doubt your divine ability again. But please tell me, how do you know? Is it so obvious?"

Luo Jiao delightedly laughed, "Call me your highness!"

"Your highness, please bestow this humble one some enlightenment."

"It\'s not obvious, but I\'ve known you for so long. Sometimes your little gesture and tone is different to him. At first, I thought it was the handsome guy next to me, or the other one. Because they sit across you, and their faces look like you know who. Then I notice how you place some food in your kitten\'s plate, and your gaze towards him."

Luo Jiao added, "But i guess i like your little kitten. He\'s polite, and looks honest. Your chemistry with him is also nice, you guys look good together. By the way, may i know the progress of your relationship?"

Jian Kang Lu smiles bitterly, "Our relationship is not like you think. It\'s platonic. He\'s a straight guy, and I also don\'t want to bend him anymore. I just enjoy spending my time with him. That\'s all. So please your highness, don\'t frighten him or he will run away from me."

"Platonic? Are you sure you\'re okay with that? But honestly, you look so happy. Just do what makes you happy. And you can relax, Jian Ge. He doesn\'t seem to notice anything. Your gesture to him is totally normal under everybody else\'s eyes. It\'s just we know you better." Luo Jiao assured him.

"Okay, your highness. Send my regard to your slave. Let us meet again next week at Sun Hongjia\'s birthday. Good night, your highness."

Jian Kang Lu hung up the phone, and smiled. Glad to hear his friends said that they like his kitten and they look good together. She\'s right. He\'s happy.

As happy as a book lover between the paper\'s scent.

As happy as the sun flower meeting his morning sun.

As happy as a cat took a lazy sunbath.

As happy as the bird flapping his wings.

He\'s happy, and that\'s enough.
