Ria Zhang went to the computer table. Pulling the swivel chair, she sat on it. She pushed the button on the CPU, tapping the table with her fingers.

The log-on screen popped open in just two seconds. She raised an eyebrow. This era was a lot advanced compared to the late 90s. The arrow hovered on the display picture. So, her name was Sierra Co, she thought.

Happiness flowed to her heart upon learning the woman's name was somehow similar to hers. At least, she didn't lose her identity all together.

Ria shook her head when she clicked the display picture. No password. This Sierra Co was too trusting. Way back in her time, passwords were like mines. No can know about it. Not even your mother.

She looked for the familiar icon of 'e' on the desktop. As she found it, the arrow hovered on the icon before she doubled click on it. Her fingers typed the word 'transmigration'. Using the mouse to scroll down, she scanned the links.

Her shoulders went slump as she read through the available information. Transmigrating inside a book? What? Is this even real? Nonsense.

Closing the window of the search engine, her eyes went over the save files. Ria doesn't know anything about the previous owner of this body. Since she was occupying it now, she was the owner of the body now.

Opening the folder with file name 'adventure', Ria's mouth formed an 'O'. Inside were different folders named after a country. There were 28 folders all in all. Cl.i.c.k.i.n.g on the folder 'France', Ria was greeted with Sierra's pictures. They were taken from different angles using a tripod.

She took photography classes in her previous life so she knew at one glance if the picture was taken from a stable location or not. More so, her eyes were still 20-20. It was pretty discernible for her part.

Staring at the close-up picture of Sierra Co, Ria can see the loneliness that clouded her eyes. Those eyes that longed for love. Going back to other folders, she learned that Sierra has visited different countries in Europe and Africa.

Still exploring, Ria almost opened all the folders in the computer. She glanced at the wall clock. It was already 10 in the morning. Her stomach growled. Where's her food? She shrugged, standing up from the chair.

She will just resume her data gathering later. The top priority was to eat breakfast. She lifted her foot to take a step when she noticed the recycle bin. It was not empty. Going back to the seat, she doubled click on the icon. She was expecting a lot of drafts. However, there was only one doc.u.ment in the bin titled 'trash'.

At the top right of the doc.u.ment was the date. It was created three days ago. Ria started reading.

'He called me trash. Me, the Young Miss of the Co Family, was called a trash by the man I love. My brother told me he can destroy him in a blink of an eye. But I begged him. To let me love Marvin Kang.'

Ria didn't blink as she scrolled down the doc.u.ment. Sierra seemed to be hopelessly in love with this Marvin Kang.

'My parents don't want to see me. They will only let me in the house after I woke up from my craziness. So, I left. I left my identity as the Young Miss Co. I only brought my two personal maids, Lulu and Danni.'

Oh, so the two maids from earlier were named Lulu and Danni, Ria thought. But who was Lulu and who was Danni? The plump one or the tall one? Ria continued reading.

I retained my position as the Vice President of Co TouchMe, one of the subsidiaries of Co Industries. But no one knew my real identity. They thought I was just one of those heiresses who wanted to take a portion of the Co Industries. Hmmmmp. Why do I need that for? My trust fund from my grandfather was enough to last me a lifetime.'

A sigh of relief escaped Ria Zhang's lips. At least, she doesn't need to worry about money. Sierra Co was one true heiress. Even in her previous life, Ria needed to work just to finance her daily needs. Although she has the luxury to travel and buy whatever she wanted once in a while, she never had a trust fund.

'I met Marvin Kang in France three years ago. I slept with him on that night thinking that he was worth my V card. But he told me I was just one of those who satisfied his l.u.s.t. Just good for one use.'

Ria Zhang slammed the computer table. "Son of a b i t c h," she said out loud. She started to hate this Marvin jerk. No woman ever deserve those words, even if she was vicious.

Ria Zhang pressed her lips. So this was how a woman became a m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.t.

'And boy I was right. The next day, it was a new woman. This time, a brunette with nice b.o.o.b.s. Him being involved with different women comforted me. It continued for a year. Marvin Kang was the typical playboy, changing girlfriends faster than he changed his boxer shorts.'

"I'm surprised he didn't get AIDS," Ria exclaimed.

"Until he met that b i t c h. Yeah, she was. I was not being a b i t c h here though. I knew Kara Lu since grade school. She was always the star student because her family owned the school. She was bright too. But I was the brightest. I passed the MENSA when I was four. But my parents hid it. They wanted me to grow up like a normal child. Going to a private school, interacting with normal kids.'

Ria Zhang leaned on the table, her palm supported her chin. She totally forgot her hunger. This letter was more interesting. Although she felt like crying. She graduated on top of her class but she didn't try MENSA. However, the exam was really intended to burn all the brain cells. "It's true when they say intelligent women are fools when they are in love. Tsk."

'Kara Lu was the sole heiress of Lu Conglomerate. A beautiful woman with a strong backing. So was I. But Marvin Kang only saw me as a trash. Maybe, I was. But I became like this because of him. It was my choice though.'

Ria Zhang bit her lips. This is just so stupid.

'Kara Lu bullied me behind Marvin Kang's back. But in front of him, I was the one who did the bullying. So I retaliated to the people around them. I made the company of Gemma Qin bankrupt. She was the best friend of Kara Lu. I had the investors pulled out from the company of Jerry Fang, Marvin Kang's best friend. He didn't go bankrupt but at least I made him lose money.'

"Way to go, girl!" Ria Zhang punched her fist in the air.

"Marvin Kang! How dare you smear Sierra Co's reputation! I will let you taste what it is really like to be vicious like me!" Ria Zhang screamed at the top of her lungs. She doesn't care if other people hear her. Her c.h.e.s.t went up and down as she catch her breath.

'I don't care about the opinions of other people. I can still live my life. But my hardworking parents who only wanted the best for me, I cared about them. I knew I left them but I just wanted to prove them wrong. But they were right. Marvin Kang was heartless jerk.'

"You are wrong, Sierra! He was not a heartless jerk! He was a stupid animal! He was a son of a b i t c h! He was the missing link!" Ria Zhang pulled her hair. Damn, she was being agitated now.

'I wanted to say sorry to my parents, my brother, and my grandfather. I must be their greatest disappointment in life. I just want to leave my life here. Go to a place where no one knows me. Forget that once in my life, I fell in love with a man who was not worth it.'

That was the end of the letter. Ria Zhang's eyes remained on the computer. Sierra Co was born with a golden spoon in her mouth. But she was just unfortunate when it comes to love.

She stood up from her seat and headed towards the door. She needed to eat breakfast first before she planned her next move.
