Zhao kissed softly on Zhu Rui\'s lips which was shocking for Zhu Rui. She closed her lips to feel that when Zhao pulled back. Zhu Rui was bewildered as Zhao caressed her hair. "What kind of kiss was that? I could not even kissed you back," Zhu Rui complained.

Zhao smiled and again pulled her into a kiss. His one hand was wrapped around Zhu Rui\'s waist while other was behind her nape. "Let\'s kiss then," Zhao whispered and captured the lips of Zhu Rui. The two kissed each other for a few seconds before pulling away from each other.

"That was good. I am happy that you are acknowledging me," Zhu Rui stated and hugged Zhao. "Thank you for taking me here," she added.

Zhao recalled how in the morning he heard the conversation of everyone in the house. Yes, he had woken up and come to kitchen for water but then he ended up hearing the conversation of Zhu Rui with the others. She was dejected that Zhao was not accepting her love that made him feel guilty and he decided to move forward in his life instead of living in the past.

Zhu Rui pulled away from Zhao. "Let\'s go home," Zhu Rui said.  Zhao nodded and then two left for home. Soon they reached their home. In the bedroom, Zhao after freshening up entered and saw Zhu Rui was in front of the dressing table. "Go freshen up! It\'s late and I am tired," Zhao asserted and went to the bed.

Zhu Rui after ten minutes, came out of the washroom. She found Zhao unlike the other days was not asleep but was waiting for her. "Why are you staring at me? Come to the bed," Zhao stated. Zhu Rui nodded and got on the bed.

Zhao switched off the main lights, keeping one table lamp on. "You did not sleep. You used to sleep before me," proclaimed Zhu Rui.

"Hmm… but I think I should wait for my wife till she would come to the bed." Zhao\'s head was rested against the headboard as he was looking at Zhu Rui.

"Why this sudden change? Until yesterday you were not allowing me to come closer to you but today you\'re acting differently," Zhu Rui found the food treatment from Zhao somewhat sceptical.

"Don\'t you like it? Don\'t you want that your husband also wants to accept this marriage?" Zhao questioned Zhu Rui who could not believe her ears.

"You are accepting this marriage?! You want to acknowledge me as your wife?!" Zhu Rui was bewildered to hear that. Zhao hummed and nodded his head.

"I heard your conversation with the others in the morning and I realized that I am doing wrong. You left everything for me and I should not keep you at bay. I should understand your worth and should not go on the path of revenge. My mother chose the path of revenge and ended up losing everything.

You did everything for me all these years. I should have acknowledged it early so forgive me for that." Zhao truthfully told everything to Zhu Rui.

He took Zhu Rui\'s hands in his and kissed her knuckles. "Let\'s start everything afresh. I will love you and cherish you wholeheartedly. You are my world from now on and I will beautify this world day by day," Zhao gave the most beautiful confession to Zhu Rui.

Zhu Rui had no words left. She lowered her eyes as tears formed in them. "Forgive me for being harsh on you," Zhu Rui said. Zhao shook his head and patted Zhu Rui\'s head. "Even I treated you badly. You left your house for me so I should have understood you but I did the opposite. I can feel that how much tough it was for you seeing your husband not understanding you when you sacrificed everything for him.

I did many mistakes in my life. I do not want to repeat those mistakes again that\'s why I will do my best in this relationship. I will not be only your husband but also a friend with whom you can talk freely and share everything. Let\'s take slow steps towards each other and cherish all the moments from now onward," Zhao pronounced and searched for an answer in Zhu Rui\'s eyes.

"Hmm…" "Thank you for accepting my love," Zhu Rui stated.

"Thank you for standing by my side and loving me till the end," Zhao stated and leaned closer to Zhu Rui. The two had closed their eyes and brought their faces closer to each other. Rubbing their noses against each other, they felt the warmth of their love when Zhu Rui took the initiative and kissed Zhao.

Zhao pulled Zhu Rui closer into the passionate kiss. Biting her lower lip, Zhao shoved his tongue inside the mouth of Zhu Rui. Their tongues entangled with each other, devouring the taste of each other. They pulled away from each other and gasped for the air. Zhao caressed Zhu Rui\'s cheeks using his thumbs and touched his forehead with hers.

Both had closed their eyes to feel those emotions that had built inside them at the time. "Let\'s sleep. Tomorrow I have a meeting and I cannot be late," Zhao stated. He kissed Zhu Rui\'s cheek and leaned back. Zhu Rui slid inside the blanket and turned her back towards Zhao.

Zhao turned off the table lamp beside the bed and laid down. He hugged Zhu Rui from the back and grabbed her one hand. "This is real. My feelings for you are not fake," Zhao asserted as he pulled Zhu Rui\'s towards him, thus embracing her tightly.

Zhu Rui was happy. It took her more than eleven years to get acknowledged by Zhao. She was thankful to herself that she waited patiently for Zhao,  and finally able to win his heart. Though she made mistakes but then Zhao forgave her and accepted her wholeheartedly.

Zhu Rui turned herself towards Zhao and snuggled closer him.
