The Revenge

That's right, Di Shaoyan heard it clearly, he was curious why this woman seemed to have changed so much in one night.

He was no longer weak and could no longer bear it. This must have been his imagination.

"Mrs Di, Young Master Di said to get out. Are you deaf?!" He was not the least bit shy and slowly put on his clothes in front of Ji Linran.

The atmosphere in the room became abnormally tense and Ji Linran became cautious with every breath she took.

"Didn't you say you were going to meet me before you were willing to divorce me? Or did you change your mind now?" Di Shaoyan shook the wine cup in his hand as he stared outside the window.

It was the first time since their marriage that they had been able to talk peacefully in one room, and it was ironic that the conversation was about divorce.

"I can agree to a divorce, but …" Ji Linran wanted to say something, but stopped in his tracks as his tightly clenched fists trembled slightly.

"This is the compensation fee I'm paying you. Fill in the numbers yourself." A blank cheque was thrown in front of Ji Linran, and the other thing was the divorce agreement.

She had wanted to say if she could spend her last birthday with her before the divorce. He couldn't even remember his wedding anniversary, let alone her birthday.

Ji Linran did not touch the cheque, and hurriedly signed her name. She even forgot to take her bag as she turned around and walked to the door.

"Wait a moment."

Still, she had underestimated the man's influence on her.

Seeing her stop, Di Shaoyan smiled in satisfaction. He turned around and walked into the room. When he came out, he had already changed his clothes.

"At least you've been my wife for two years. I have a divorce present for you, it's in the next suite. It won't be too late to leave after reading it."

Ji Linran stood at the entrance of the suite and hesitated.

A gift? What kind of gift? Is it a birthday present?

He had never given her a present since their marriage. For some reason, she felt that the look in Di Shaoyan's eyes before he left was a little strange.

After some hesitation, she turned the doorknob.

The room was mostly purple, which was her favorite color, giving off a romantic vibe.

His depressed mood gradually relaxed, and he was not in the mood to look for the divorce present that Di Shaoyan had mentioned. Instead, he recalled this short and wrong marriage.

"I would like to ask, this beautiful and elegant lady, can you do me a favor first?"

Immersed in his memories, Ji Linran was frightened by this sudden voice, and hid in a corner to look.

His light golden hair was first seen in his eyes, and his pair of eyes were filled with the stars, making it hard to ignore.

There was a wicked smile at the corner of his mouth, as if it were made of nature, and the ruthlessness in his eyes.

Ji Linran had seen many beautiful men. Her husband, oh no, right now she should call him ex-husband was a dragon amongst men. And this man wasn't inferior in the slightest.

However, his body was tied up with hemp rope, and he still looked extremely weak.

"You, who are you?" Why did he appear on the bed in this room? Why was he tied up?
