The Revenge

Ji Linran quickly went downstairs and sat on the red beetle before she heaved a sigh of relief.

She stretched out her palms and tried to warm her cold heart.

"I'm sorry, the driver can't go in."

Ji Linran looked at him, then looked at herself. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't tell what part of him looked like a substitute.

"I think all of you are mistaken. I am her assistant and she is Yao Ran." She glared at Ji Linran, indicating that she should not wear it that casually.

Ji Linran pretended not to see it, and walked into the great hall with her flip-flops in front of everyone's eyes.

She didn't know if there were only slippers in the shoe closet, or if they were clipped. Besides, she had just woken up and didn't have time to put on her makeup. It was good enough not to show up in his pajamas.

Standing at the door of the room, Ji Linran's relaxed mood instantly tightened as she stared at the room's number.

Was it a coincidence or was it his intention?

Five years ago, in this very room, he had thrown her a divorce agreement and a man who had prepared it for her!

She was the only one facing the golden light in the hall.

Before he pressed the doorbell, Ji Linran told himself that she was Yao Ran, not Ji Linran.

The door opened, and the one who opened it was not him, but his assistant, Ye Jue.

"Miss Yao Ran, after you."

The room's layout was the same as it was five years ago. The crystal light above his head illuminated every nook and cranny.

He stood with his back to her, holding a glass of red wine in his hand. The perfect side of his face allowed her well-guarded heart to thump.

Had she underestimated his influence on her, or had her hatred of him reached an unquenchable point?

"Young Master Di, what are you thinking about? Why are you thinking about it so seriously?" Ji Linran spoke first to cover up the panic in his heart.

When they met again five years later, they were already strangers. She should not have cast too many glances at him.

"You're here."

In the middle of the night, she would sit on the sofa in the living room and wait all night.

Habits can be so terrible that you can no longer tell which is reality and which is memory.

"Hello, my name is Yao Ran. I'm a Spirit Demon, I'm Ran Ran Ran."
