The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 5 - Trap

The King was inside his chambers sipping his aromatic tea that his dear niece tried to steal many times, when the Duke of Mills, his childhood friend entered without knocking, again. It has become a habit, an awful one.

"Julian, my friend, did you know?"

"Theo, how many times I have to remind you to knock… sighs… I will have to tell sister-in-law."

"No… no… Your Majesty, we should talk about it." The man with beautiful green eyes was trembling in fear. No one knew, but his dear wife was a terrifying woman that liked to create havoc when she was angry. He was scared of what she would ask him to do if she finds out about his behavior in the palace. The last time, she made him buy a rare fruit from the north, and she didn't say a word to him until he was able to bring it. It took him two weeks of cold war to get the damn fruit.

"What happened Theo?"

"Great news!"

"Say it." The King continued sipping his tea, he wasn't the least enthusiastic about that great news, nowadays the only thing that interested him were the little mischiefs from his dear niece. The people inside the castle were talking about her constantly laughing at her antics and her eagerness to be seen as a villain.

Even the Crown Prince was trapped in her cuteness. Who could tell that the little evildoer was such a genius? She even compiled a careful notebook to help her brother in his exams. The King was so impressed that he gave in when she tried to cheat him in chess last time. He didn't say a word about her little tricks and let her have her way to a white decree.

"Hohoho, the idiotic son of the Prime Minister was given a good beating."

"…"

'Is this man an idiot?' The King was considering removing his friend from his post as he was the Minister of Revenue and with the biggest Estate in the Country with some additional and secret tasks that required a privileged mind.

"Don't you want to know who did that?"

"… don't care." 'Must be another kid.'

"Well, you should care, because it was that good niece of you, Princess Anne."

"…" The King stopped sipping his tea. The reports on his desk were now left on the second place and his mind recalled that the little troublemaker was seen leaving the castle every day when her older brother was training.

'Now I know what she was up to.' He smirked a little and stood up to go watch the fun.

"Wait, where are we going?"

"To solve the issue."

"What?"

"If we don't go now, maybe your son will never get a chance with her."

"What?! Let's move faster, what are you waiting for?!" The shameless man was now worried, he had long wanted her son and the Princess to be united in marriage, but he didn't want to force them.

"…"

The two middle-aged men walked to the training camps with their guards following behind.

However, the said evildoer was battling a boy with bright blonde hair and blue beautiful eyes, the Prime Minister's son. He had some scratches on his right cheek and some dust covered his training clothes. His hands were holding a wooden sword and even when he was three years older than the little girl in front of him, he couldn't get near a strand of her hair.

How can that be? You may ask, she is just a child without an inch of power in her delicate hands. However, she didn't require that much strength to defeat another little kid, she just needed to use her teasing mouth to infuriate him and made him lose focus.

"Come on, crybaby… hit me," She began her taunting game.

"You! Shut up!"

"What? Are you scared to touch a little girl like me?" She advanced a step and he backed one. "Oh, really? Are you afraid?"

She moved her little foot to give another step, but then she backed off when she saw how the boy stumbled with the body of another one that was kneeling tying his shoelaces.

"Pff hahahahaha, that's so funny." She let out a big laugh, but her beautiful face could only bring blushing faces around the kids. They stopped their training and looked at her with dazed eyes.

"Princess, now it's my turn."

The boy tying his shoes stood up and looked at the cute red face of the little girl. His eyes could hardly hide the warmth on his gaze. From the moment she helped him a year ago with the candy issue, Henry had been wanting to get closer to her and become her friend.

"Are you sure, crybaby?"

"Yes."

"Mmmm, interesting, how about we make a bet?"

"As you wish, my Princess."

"You will be my servant if you lose."

"What if you lose?" He asked showing interest in her words, however, a cunning glint hid in his eyes.

"Whatever you want."

"Then, you will be my bride."

"What?!"

"You said it yourself, are you backing off?"

'What a bold little boy…. Whatever he will lose.' Anne laughed and stretched her arms before starting to move forward with her wooden sword.

Henry dodged her without retaliating, he didn't dare to hit his future wife or Master. He kept avoiding her attempts without so much effort until her gorgeous eyes showed a bit of annoyance. 'Tsk… I wanted to play a little more.' He thought as he was enjoying that she was getting closer with every attempt.

He looked at her figure moving fast again, but he didn't move this time, he even acted as if she had taken him by surprise.

"Gotcha!"

"You win, my Princess."

"No, now I am your Master."

"Yes, my Master." The boy kneeled and hid a grin on his face with his bowed head.

"I think we won't need to interfere, your boy is for sure a cunning one. How interesting." The King looked at the show with a glint in his eyes. He was prepared for his little evildoer to trap someone, but it turns out that she was the one to fall this time.
