Ten minutes more of a walk, and I'll be at the meeting spot, with my nerves lit up but no sense of danger. I start humming along to the music, and watching a few couples dancing, it seems like I've been here for hours, even though it's only been thirty minutes. The chairs beside me creaks, and I jump, what the hell!!

Standing up and getting in a defensive stance, I hiss "What the hell are you doing here Remey?" he holds his hands out.

"Please Acadia, just sit and talk with me for a moment, I mean you no harm" he slowly sits in his chair.

"I will only listen for a minute, if this has nothing to do with my mother, I walk, if you try to harm me, the others are just outside" as I sit opposite of him.

"We both know they are not outside, I checked before I came in, with a price on my head I'm sure, I had to be careful" he winks at me.

"You disgust me, your lying and betrayal. I don't have time for your flirtation, tell me about my mother" I hiss again.

"Shah I told you, I mean you no harm, yes I was working with your father, but that's before I got to know you, by then it was too late, he would have killed me" I'm still glaring at him.

"So what does that mean, that it was actually real between us" I laugh sarcastically

"Yes shah, it was real for me".

"Say I was to believe you, why didn't you just kill him yourself?" looking him straight in the eyes.

"I'm not strong enough, he was an elder, and he had an army of the dead with him at all times, that's why I brought him to you, I knew you could kill him, hell you almost killed me, if I wouldn't have escaped in time"

I look at him with a little more understanding but not enough to believe him "Tell me about my mother".

He looks at me with a defeated sigh "Your father told me about the day you were hidden from him, he told me that your mother wanted peace, and he wanted to rule the world. After she discovered what his plan was, that he wanted to raise you to do his evil bidding with your power stronger than his, she ran away and hid you. After she collapsed a wall on them, he lost track of her for a bit, but he caught up to her, you were nowhere in sight. All he said after that was that she got what was coming to her" I stand up, thank him, and walk away without another look backward.

The only thing I heard before I walked out was "It was real Acadia, I miss y....."
