What do you say to the people that are telling you that you might end up evil or the heir that protects and helps all magical people, or both? Well as I stand and scream "STOP IT" it just flows out of my mouth before I finish thinking it, as everyone hushes and settles down around me, I stand there with the confidence of a new woman and tell them.

"Listen, I may not know a lot about this magic life, or who my mother is, or if I'm either of those things that you think I might be, but I know I'm not evil. I also am a person, who has never had anyone but myself, and I will not let some council hold me prisoner while they decide if I'm evil or not. The oracle will come and let us know if your right or not, and if I'm the heir, I hope all of you will help me become the best heir I can be. If I am this prophet you speak of, then I will choose my own path and live as I please. If I am both, I have the confidence in my friends Zaline, Buford, and Remey to keep me grounded. If you do not agree with my decision, I will walk right now before any of us figure out anything"

After a long silence, Buford nods in agreement at me "As Acadia has stated her wishes, we will vote, if you agree with her raise your hand" There are eleven people in the room including me, after a few seconds six the hands are raised, Claudette not one of them.

"Then the council is upon agreement, we will stand by your decision Acadia" Buford says.

Then he asked everyone to settle down as a knock on the door echoed through the room. The guards open the door to let the women from my visions In, with her youthful face and all-knowing eyes, the oracle has arrived, bringing my bad feeling back in with her.

Everyone stands and slightly bows to her except me, I can't stop staring between her and the door behind her. With a small smile, she walks towards me, Buford stands beside me "Thank you for coming upon our request, Acadia this is Janelle, Janelle this is Acadia" he introduces us.

She nods her head and goes to reach for me as I back away, she just smiles and holds her hand out to me, this time without fear, I take it.

The flash as we take each other's hand in the room is slightly blinding to the group, gone as fast as it came, Janelle and I not noticing as we go somewhere else in our minds.

The pain is searing through at first, but then turns tolerable this time, and instead of me seeing things, she is probing my head and soul. I feel it, every bit of the probing, I don't see what she sees, but I have a weird feeling, one that somewhat feels my soul with answers to all my questions, a knowing feeling, one that I didn't know I needed until now.

With a gasp from both of us, the pain light pain gone as she lets go, she looks at me with a shocked face, her all-knowing eyes upon me, with fear and admiration.

Then to answer everyone's question, she bows down at my feet "My queen, my heir, Adeline, I pledge my alliance in your honor" is all she said.

Everyone else in the room gathers themselves quickly, bowing down and saying the same to me. As I look down at them, knowing my real name now, Adeline,I know it's true, I felt it, I now know I'm the heir, the one that will have to live up to my family's legacy and protect these people and reunite everyone once again, to protect the innocent as well.
