The word "Enlightenment" is very particular. The teacher preacher can't say the mysterious situation deeply, so as not to form a fixed frame. The key is to choose the appropriate method according to its own root device.

Take Buddhism as an example, the people of Shanggen are suitable for Zen.

Zen focuses on teaching external biographies, not writing, immediate insight and insight. It has high requirements for root tools. If Huineng, the sixth ancestor, didn't know one, he could be enlightened by listening to the Vajra Sutra once.

For the common people in the secular world, if they can't even deal with the human feelings and the world in the secular world of refining their hearts, learning Zen is not enlightenment, but self error.

People with simple nature can choose Pure Land Sect.

Pure Land Sect is simple and easy. It only needs to recite Buddhism, but its "three roots, universal quilt, sharp and dull all collection" is only a convenient way to promote all living beings to recite Buddhism. If there is a universal way, why should the Buddha have worked hard to preach Buddhism for 49 years and left countless dharmas?

By chanting the Buddha's name, collecting miscellaneous thoughts, sensing the Buddha's wish and getting into the pure land world, we need people who are honest by nature, have extensive knowledge and wisdom, but those who have a deep "barrier of knowledge and vision" are difficult to find that state.

The practice of Esoteric Buddhism is extremely complex. Senior brothers who like mysterious culture and are interested in complex things and don't need money are more suitable for esoteric Buddhism.

There are great differences in people's personalities. It is impossible to change them. We need to find the right fate for ourselves.

Moreover, even if the Buddhists are universal, even if the Buddha has great power and compassion, there are still many people suffering in the world, and there are still four things that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas "can't do".

First, cause and effect cannot be changed. Because of its own cause and effect, others can't replace it.

Second, wisdom cannot be given. Anyone can't live without wisdom without his own training.

Third, the truth cannot be said. Language is pale in the end and can only rely on empirical evidence.

Fourth, no fate can not be measured. Medicine can't cure diseases. Buddha is destined for people. Although the rain is wide, it does not moisten the rootless grass.

Confucianism is the same - your uncle or your uncle.

If you have great energy and culture, you can play down and be compatible. Sometimes you can show less culture by some fate. Anyway, everyone knows you're pretending to beep.

But if you don't pretend to understand, it's easy to reveal the truth.

In other words, grandpa can sometimes pretend to be a grandson, but grandson is not easy to pretend to be a grandpa.

"The way of university lies in Mingde".
