When Cali heard the knocking on her door, she sprinted and immediately opened the door thinking it was Rui. But when she saw the person standing outside her door, her shoulders dropped. Candice was standing  outside her door with her pillow in her hands.

"Are you disappointed to see me here? Am I not the one you were expecting to see?" Candice teased with her beautiful smile.

Candice then comfortably laid her body on Cali's bed. Cali soon joined her, still feeling a little awkward with her presence. Candice slowly turned around to face her and started talking.

"Cali… I might stick with you for a few days. Will that be fine with you?" Cali heard Candice softly whispering to her.

"Huh? But why?" she asked, confused by such docile and sweet behaviour of the seductive professor who made her burn in jealousy just a few days ago.

Meanwhile, Rui looked at the clock and whispered, "Why is she not here yet?"

Usually, Cali would knock at his room by that hour to sleep with him.

'How come she's so late today?' he mused. He felt incomplete without her kisses and hugs. He didn't want to return to his lonely days again.

His mobile phone beeped, so he quickly looked at her reply.

[Candice is in my room. She wants to sleep here with me. She said she doesn't want to sleep alone.]

"What the heck?!" he burst after reading Cali's reply. Seriously, Candice would be the death of him!

"She even tried to prove herself innocent by saying that she will not crawl into my bed, but the mischievous brain that she has can not stay still. She had to crawl to Cali's bed instead!" he snorted with a twitched face.

He knew that Candice would find fun in bullying either him or Xander because that was the woman's habit! To bully people around her and enjoy their irritated faces!

Rui felt annoyed as he looked at his empty and cold bed.

"Don't tell me she plans on sleeping with her the entire time she will stay here?!" he worriedly snarled. Candice did not mention how long she was planning to stay there, and Rui suddenly started praying it would not take too long before she leaves.

He heaved a deep frustrated sigh before typing another message for Cali.

Back at Cali's room, Cali bit her lips as she read Rui's message.

[Alright. Goodnight and sleep well, sweetheart. I love you.]

She could not help but smile alone and quietly squeal.

"How long have you both been together? You and Rui?" she heard Candice ask. Cali turned at her and saw her staring at the ceiling.

"Not too long. I mean, we became official just recently. More than a week." Cali timidly answered.

"How did you know he's the one? The right one for you?" Candice asked next.

Cali smiled as she also moved to lie on her back and stared at the ceiling before she whispered, "I honestly don't know, but I guess you just feel it suddenly. The feeling of security and warmth in his arms. The feeling where you can picture your lifetime with him..."

Cali was about to say more, but Candice suddenly yawned loudly and murmured, "Sorry, I feel sleepy. I guess… I'm the only complicated one who thinks love is lethal. But I'm happy for you, Cali. Let's sleep already. Tomorrow is a long day ahead for sure."

"Yeah sleep well." Cali whispered.

After a few more minutes, she felt that Candice was already deep asleep. She quietly and carefully got up from the bed to go to Rui's room but froze in her tracks when she heard Candice mutter, "Come back and sleep here, don't leave me... "

"Yes, I will come back. I'll just drink some hot milk and be back soon." Cali informed with twisted lips.

She immediately ran out and knocked at Rui's door.

Rui was shocked to see her standing there outside his door.

"I need to go back soon. I just came to kiss you goodnight." Cali bashfully said and before Rui could comment, Cali quickly tiptoed and gave him a small kiss on his lips.

"Goodnight." Cali muttered with her sweetest smile and instantly turned around to go back to her room.

Rui had a roguish smile on his face as he stayed there leaning on the doorway, just staring at the jumping woman entering the adjacent door.

"So cute," Rui whispered before he turned around to go back to his own room.

Cali on the other hand was grinning with joy as she went back inside.

"So fast?" Candice sluggishly commented.

"Yeah I changed my mind, I don't want to drink milk now. I will better sleep…" Cali murmured and immediately went back to bed with Candice.
