While Lin Xiao did want to have fire because it was warm, he was also a cultivator. Cultivator didn't really feel the night to be cold because the Qi inside his body had kept the temperature of his body mostly the same. There was no need for him to worry about the hot of the day and cold at the night to a certain degree.

Making fire at this time would only attract other cultivators to come to their places. He was not stupid enough to try something like that and put his life on the risk.

Probably it was because the forest was large but the three of them hadn't met with any other disciples along the way. They journey was also very smooth as they only encountered several beasts that was weaker than them.

When it was morning, Lin Xiao was the first to make his move.

Choosing to follow the river in one direction, Lin Xiao wondered whether their decision would be correct. As he followed the river, his keen senses detected some people who were located not far from them.

"Shall we make detour?" Sui Wenyan asked. She didn't really want to meet anyone because potential conflict might occur.

"Hmm, sure."

Lin Xiao side stepped to the side in order to enter the forest. As long as he still could hear the river's water movement, they wouldn't lose their sight from the river so easily. Making a small detour shouldn't be hard.

The sound of fighting came to their ear. Lin Xiao was stunned and turned his eyes to the direction of the sound and realized that there was a young man in the center of the mess. The young man was looking at his three opponents, which one had already been attacked, with wariness.

"He's alone?" Lin Xiao was stunned.

"Well, it's possible to travel by yourself if you get separated from your group. Besides, the total number of students in the academy couldn't be divided by three," Sui Wenyan said in hesitation.

Lin Xiao nodded and looked at the young man. "Luo Lan?"

"Who?" Sui Wenyan was stunned.

"A snobby kid," Lin Xiao replied. If Luo Lan knew that he was called that way by Lin Xiao, he would have flipped out and try to challenge him. However, Lin Xiao truly didn't expect to see Luo Lan here again. They were indeed in the same academy, but they rarely met each other because the academy was so big.

Since neither side was close to each other, why should they bother with each other's lives.

"Heh, since you're already here, just give up, Luo Lan!"

"If you don't want to lose your lives, destroy your plate and leave the forest!"

Luo Lan's face was dark as he looked at the three people before him. The three of them were all disciples of Wang Luo Sect. However, the sect always taught them to never trust anyone, including those of the same sects. It often resulted in conflict between the disciples and yet, the elders wouldn't do anything to solve it.

They went by the principle that to be strong, they have to overcome all the adversities by themselves without the need of help from others.

One of the young men blocked the attack while the other one grabbed Luo Lan's arm. He then twisted it to the back before pushing Luo Lan to the ground. "Quick, find his token and destroy it!"

Luo Lan's Qi erupted as he pushed them off. His eyes were red. Even though he was at utter disadvantages because of his current rank was nothing more than Body Training Rank 10, he would not give up.

A rock pierced through the young man's hand. The man's face contorted in pain as his friend turned to look into the forest. "Who's that?!"

Lin Xiao walked out, ignoring the annoyed gaze of both Sui Wenyan and Princess Lan Yi Hua. He looked at them with interest. "I'm just passing by and kicked a rock. Sorry for the trouble."

Sui Wenyan looked at the sky and felt that the world was truly unfair. Why did she have to meet with such a future Emperor? He knew nothing but to create more trouble and interfere in other's affair.

"Do you know him?" The young man looked at Luo Lan.

Luo Lan furrowed his brows and looked at Lin Xiao. Of course, he knew the young man from that village who was so stubborn and almost lose his life from challenging the one stronger than him. However, he would not admit it and put Lin Xiao's life in danger.

He might be a stubborn person, but he had his own principles.

"No. He's just passing by and might feel that it's an unfair battle," Luo Lan said in cold tone. "Friends, if you don't want to get involved in Wang Luo Sect's affair, you should leave."

Wang Luo Sect?

Thinking about the many sects in the academy, Sui Wenyan wanted to sight. Wang Luo Sect might be only a small sect, but it was notorious because the disciples often not care for other people's life. In addition, each of the disciples there would only care for their own gain and not the sect as a whole.

While it might affect the sect's growth, it was also the one that allowed the disciples to grow so powerful. There were several people of the sect that was very powerful and could be said to be very geniuses.

But their characters made them hated by a lot of people all around Sun Kingdom.

"Nah, I don't really want to interfere," Lin Xiao said while waving his hand. "I'm just curious how you're going to solve this."

"It's not your problem, isn't it?"

"No, but one of my goals is to destroy Wang Luo Sect, so I would like your cooperation for that." Lin Xiao smiled, being as blunt as possible.
