Chapter 126: Ri Village

Lin Xiao laughed at his brother's words. They finished their breakfast and then rushed towards Ri Village. After traveling for the entire day yesterday, the distance to Ri Village was only a few hours' journey. Before long, they had arrived.

"Let's go to the head village hall," Lin Yun suggested. The stare from the villagers made him feel uncomfortable.

Lin Xiao shook his head. There was no need for them to report to anyone when they were doing mission. It was better if they just caught that Bo Wu as fast as possible.

"Let's go to the night club."

"Brother?" it's still afternoon!

Wenren Yu nodded, understanding what Lin Xiao wanted to do. While the village was not that big, it would be hard to find one person among so many people if the villagers tried to protect that person. Since that was the case, they better searched for information first through other methods.

Night club was one of the few methods that was possible. However….

"Is there even any in village?" Wenren Yu asked with strange expression. He did see one when they were in Feng Yi City because they crossed several streets without caring for anything when they were running. But if he was not wrong, there shouldn't be any in such a small village like this.

Lin Xiao scratched the back of his head, finally reminding himself that he was not in a big city. The list of new places that was written in the map in Feng Yi city seemed to be affecting him right now.

"In that case, a bar?"

"What?" Lin Yun was still stunned. He couldn't believe that his brother, who was only 17 years old, would want to visit the bar in broad daylight like this. Did he hear things wrongly?

However, seeing the other two were enthusiastic, he had no other choice but to follow them towards the bar. Wenren Yu noticed the bartender's look and nodded. "Just some light alcohol first, please. Also a juice for the brat behind."

Hearing him being called a brat, Lin Yun resisted the urge to slap Wenren Yu. He was around the same age with Lin Xiao, so if he was a brat, wouldn't it mean that Lin Xiao was also a brat?

However, he resisted the urge when he saw Lin Xiao walked to the counter and sat down leisurely.

There were several other people who were staying inside the bar. Even though it was still broad daylight, there were already several people who stayed there. Lin Yun didn't understand why, but he just sat down on the chair while Wenren Yu and Lin Xiao also sat down and chatted.

"How many people are in this village?" Lin Xiao asked curiously.

The bartender arched his eyebrows. "New people?"

"We're passing by and since it might take a long time to reach other place, we chose to rest here," Lin Xiao made up reasons on the spot.

Lin Yun was speechless when he heard what his brother said. Their destination was obviously this place, but Lin Xiao said as if this was an unplanned accident. However, he simply took the glass and started to drink the juice.

It didn't taste that bad.

"There are around 123 to 126 people in this village," the bartender replied unhurriedly. "There might be more or less since there are also travelers who passed by like you."

Lin Xiao nodded. "What are the people usually do in this village?"

"Oh, most of us are hunters. As you can see, we're mostly Body Training Cultivators, so we don't really travel that far. However, there are still a few Foundation Establishment Cultivators who are protecting the city."

"I see." Lin Xiao was listening to the bartender as the latter continued to share stories. There were only a few people who came during daytime, giving him enough time to ask many questions to the bartender.

The village might be small, but the people here were much more powerful than the village where Lin Xiao came from. Many of them were already Foundation Establishment Cultivators.

"Why don't they move to the city if they're so powerful?" Lin Xiao asked curiously.

The bartender sighed. "If only it's possible, they would have already done that. However, there are too many complicated matters in the city."
