[Yang Menghuo POV]

It was already late evening when Shi Ying and Yang Menghuo exited the cinema. Thus, as a good Jiejie, Shi Ying offered Yang Menghuo dinner. She patted Yang Menghuo\'s back like an old woman and said, "Don\'t worry, ah. Your Jiejie saved enough for us to eat dinner today! Do you weren\'t to eat something?"

Honestly, Yang Menghuo was also hungry but didn\'t feel like eating in a restaurant. Besides, he knew that Shi Ying was very thrifty. Feeling a bit considerate, Menghuo looked around and saw a nearby stall that sold dumpling.

"Let\'s eat while walking, ah?" Shi Ying said while giving a bag of dumpling and steamed bao to Menghuo. Menghuo stared at the bao buns. He was primarily raised in the United States and, for some time, in France. So he rarely ate something traditional like this.

He took one meat-filled bao (steamed bun) and ate it.

"Oh, this is tasty!" Menghuo commented while continue eating the buns.

Shi Ying smiled and walked side by side with Menghuo while eating her bao. The evening sunset gave out a mellow atmosphere while they were walking at the side of a river. Shi Ying said that she wanted to walk to the bus station quite far from here because she wanted to save some money.

"Do you have fun today, Ying Jie?" Menghuo said out of the blue.

Shi Ying seemed to think for a moment, and then she nodded happily, "Well, I got to have a date, eat a lot, won a movie lottery, of course, I\'m happy!"

Yang Menghuo smiled and nodded, "That means my rental boyfriend service is good, right?"

"Good, good. For 100 Yuan, you are probably the best! Ahahah!"

Yang Menghuo felt a sense of accomplishment in his heart. Although he knew that rental boyfriend stuff was fake in his side, Shi Ying probably thought it was real. Although he got nothing from this, it did make him felt good.

"Though, you are not so romantic ah!" Shi Ying complained. "You asked me to go to KFC for lunch. Playing some scenario, but you get flustered easily—"

"—I\'m not usually flustered like that!" Yang Menghuo snipped. Truthfully, he mostly felt disgusted when a woman tried to flirt with him at a party and such. But he felt different when Ying Jie teased him.

Shi Ying shrugged and continued her complaint, "You also fell asleep on my shoulder when we are watching a horror movie! What man would sleep rather than protect his woman?

"You were not scared at all!" Menghuo rebuked. "How could I protect when you are laughing when the ghost appears?"

"At least don\'t fall asleep, lah!" Shi Ying argued even more.

"That\'s because your shoulder is so comfortable, so warm and soft—"

"Are you calling me fat?!" as a woman who tried her best to maintain her weight, Shi Ying got triggered by that remark. Menghuo shut his mouth and turned his head away.

"You are not fat. You are just fluffy," Menghuo stated.

"What? I\'m not sugar-coating it! You do look good!" Menghuo yelled. He didn\'t know that he had insulted Shi Ying because he honestly thought that Shi Ying looked good with some fat here and there. After all, it made her chubby and cute.

It made him felt warm.

Shi Ying turned her head to the opposite of Menghuo, "Of course I am! You also look good ah! Very handsome, like a model!" she yelled.

Both Shi Ying and Yang Menghuo felt awkward because they felt they were praising each other, but why would they need to yell?

Thus, they accepted each other\'s compliments silently in their hearts.

They stopped at the bus station at the end of their rental boyfriend date. Shi Ying saw her bus would come up soon, so she waited with Menghuo.

"Actually, I\'m using this Rent A Boyfriend app to find a fake boyfriend to show to my parents next Saturday, so they would stop matching me up with random man," Shi Ying said while waiting for her bus.
