Mr. Miracle, Fury Sandman, and Mr. Terrific boom tube back to earth as their mission had failed. Everyone welcomes them back, Mr. Miracle explains to them that the mission was a failure,that they were betrayed By Barda and Sloan.

But with everything that had happened, Jimmy has now become a part of the source itself and he tells them he found something interesting. Terry Sloan has a ship cloaked in space that can hold 100,000 people and it\'s time for them to commandeer it and save who they can.

Flash radios in, informing about the Furies and where they are. So everyone loads up and they head out.

Hours Later.

Lois grabs the Fury of Pestilence and since she is a robot the disease won\'t affect her while Val Zod grabs war to offset her solar-powered ability. While this is happening Batman is flying a jet into the Fury of Death. But Huntress flies over tearing the wings off of his jet, luckily he jumps out of the jet.

Green Lantern catches him while Powergirl tackles Huntress, they slammed into the ground so hard that she brings Huntress to the brink of death, tearing Apocalypses hold off her. With tears in her eyes, Power Girl realizes what she did and Huntress tries to say a few words " Darkseid won\'t let you keep me" Powergirl began to cry even more.

But this isn\'t a time for mourning as the fury of Death has just given birth to the child that she\'s been carrying this whole time.

Batman rubs over to Huntress\'s side. Being that he is her Grandfather and a surgeon he can\'t allow her to die. While his drugs were destroyed earlier by Val Zod he has always carried a backup, The Venom drug. He injects her with it. Her heart begins to race and pump adrenaline as she snaps back to life. She begins to throw up whatever Desaad injected her with.

The child of the fury of Death rips her open, as he rises into the air Shouting that it is the death spawn of apocalypse and then buries itself into the ground. Everyone wonders what just happened but the Green Lantern Knows it\'s after the power of the Avatars the Parliament of Earth.

Barda was standing in front of Desaad asking him what his next plane was. Luckily for Apocalypse, he isn\'t even close to done and proceeded to show her his proto Fury\'s

The Flash and Hawkgirl are walking the original Fury of Famine to safety now that she isn\'t under mind control but then she drops to the ground, dying telling them that the Furies had been defeated and their link to Apocalypse is gone. The Furies are all dead.

While flash and Hawkgirl debate what to do with her Body the Proto Furies attack them. They radio Lois, telling her that the proto Furies are attacking the tramway, the Last bastion of human civilization and they need to get there fast.

Using their speed, Powergirl Val-Zod and Lois all head off to fight against the proto Furies leaving Huntress and Batman there. They look over the destruction and Huntress thanks him for saving her life. Then as they head over to the world army outpost Jimmy calls up Batman, telling him one to find Oliver Queen. Bruce Wayne has a contingency and he gives it to Oliver and that he went missing.

Over at the Furies battlefield

In a flash of lightning, Grey appeared next to the body of the Fury of Death. By now she should have been dead but he had kept her alive.

Seeing Grey appear in a weak voice she asks him to save her. Grey walks next to her and then squatted next to her. With a thought, his helmet retracted, revealing his face.

Grey smiled " Why should I save you?"

"i did what you ask me to do"

"So?"

"WE HAD A DEAL" She yelled out.

Smiling even, more Grey stood up " you kill millions of living beings in cold blood. What makes you think that you deserve my pity... Plus you are no use to me alive " Grey then brought his hand up, as the repulsor began to glow brighter and brighter.

"No, you can\'t we ha..." And with that she died. Grey then threw her body in his pocket dimension and teleported away.

Now with everyone feeling that they might win this war, Darkseid gets the report that the heroes have defiantly pushed back the armies of apocalypse and he decides it\'s time for world end and unleash the terraformer.

Everyone looks up, they see something happening, something terrifying Apocalypse\'s newest weapon of war is literally hitting the entire planet with everything. They have unleashed their superweapons. Hawkgirl and Flash watch them send something down into the fire pits and then all the fire pits begin to look up. The Avatars all look on as they\'ve realized they aren\'t even close to save the planet. Then to make matters even worse they all drop in pain. The Death spawn has made its way to the Parliament of Earth and it is hurting them from the source of their powers. The Green Lantern screams into his ring to bring him to the parliament.

He has teleported down, only to see the death spawn with Earth in its grasp. He begins to blast the creature with everything and then he jumps in giving it a solid punch but the death spawn catches him and throws him into Earth. He then slams into the ground trying to the core and if he does the earth is done. Green Lantern tries to stop him but he can\'t and Death spawn creates a hole jumps into it.

Mr. Terrific team all load into a rocket aimed at Terry Sloan\'s ship so that they secure it.

Powergirl and Val-Zod and Lois all see the satellites of apocalypse appearing over their heads. The thing that is burning the ground around them and they take off to do what they can.

That is when they quickly realize that these things are intended to tenderize the earth so that apocalypse can devour it.
