Chapter 43 - Earth 2 (Part 5)
Firepit
Powergirl is fighting it out with her former friend Huntress who has been transformed into the fury of famine.
Powergirl tries to talk her down but she continues to fight at her consciousness is bȧrėly in there any longer. She is now a soldier of Apocalypse and once Powergirl starts to break through Huntress, she escapes, leaving the area.
She walks back to Val, Batman, Lois Lane, and Superman but before they can make any further plans Desaad appears before them the one who took Huntress and changed her into that monster.

Chicago
Dick Grayson decided to spend the rest of his moments beating up on the people that Killed his wife. Looking up he could see the tidal wave. But he discovers something strange. the wave wasn\'t moving anymore, he then suddenly felt some weight on his shoulder.
Looking next to him he saw Grey metallic figure standing next to him
"Who are you?" Dick cries out as he tries to move away, only to discover that he couldn\'t move away from his iron grip.
"Relax, if my hand leaves your shoulder you will go back into normal time."
"What do you mean?"
Grey pointed at the wave " For example right now you will see everything around you frozen"
"Looking around him Dick discovered that it was true "How are you doing that?"
"Explanations are for another time. Right now have a deal for you."
"What deal?" Dick asks cautiously.
"Look at your wife," Grey told him, so he did so.
"What am i supposed to see?"
"Look closer."
Looking at her more seriously he discovers something " What is that gray string?" When Dick looks at his wife he discovers that there was a string going from his wife to Grey.
"The deal is that I will save your wife if you both work for me."
"That\'s it?"
"What, do you want me to ask for more? Right now your life is crap, your wife is dead, you give your son to strangers and you don\'t even know if you are going to survive, Your life is the only thing you got. What I am basically giving you is a sure way for you and your family to survive, all the while also giving you a job and a great future.
"..."
"We don\'t have a lot of time."
"Why us?"
"Let say that from other timelines or universes you have a great resume.
"I accept," Dick said even though he did know what will happen next. But he knew he had to save his wife.
"Great" Grey declares. Suddenly Barbara\'s body levitated from the ground and floated in front of them. Grey then proceeded to stretch his hand out, forming a ball of ki and letting her Body absorb it. After a brief moment, Dick saw the bullet extracted out of her than her body healed.
"Can I talk to her?"
"No, not right now."
"When then?"
"When all of this ends."
"What do I do now?"
"Go search for your son and speak to nobody about what happened here." And with that, Grey teleported away with Barbara, Leaving Dick stunned while he returned to normal time.

Terry Sloane and Commander Khan prepare to leave Apokolips But Commander Khan of the world army isn\'t easily fooled. So he calls out Terry Sloan\'s plan. Searching through the ship he found a bomb that was about to explode while Terry was wearing a flight suit so that he could escape.
Terry tries to defend his action, telling Khan that he hasn\'t seen the same thing that he has seen, that they are doomed. So in extreme anger of his betrayal Khan punched Sloan across the face.

On Earth
In preparation for the end of the earth, Major Sato of the world army was enacting a plan to move everyone into the subway tunnels of the cities using Flash, Hawkgirl, Dr. Fate, and Jimmy Olsen to lead the charge. The Problem is there are many enemies in those tunnels and the planet is currently doomed so she comes up with a drastic plan. She turns to El Prat the Atom.
On this earth the Atom was in the army of this earth but after he had fought against the clone of superman which resulted in the clone cutting off his arm and beat him almost to death with it. So ever since he has been in recovery.

Sky of Russia
The Battle of the Avatar against the Furies was still going but things got even worse with Huntress arrival. With the added helper the furies begin to beat down earth\'s avatars and the Green Lantern turns his back on the world to save Sam his former lover now the avatars of White and Huntress tells him to look on as he saved only one life, as she was holding him by the neck ready to kill him.
Back in Chicago
The stunned Grayson was grabbed by Ted Grant (Also known as Wildcat) as he was running as fast as he can, away from the tidal wave, as it was coming down fast.

Desaad reveals his plan to defeat the heroes. He had taken control of the avatar of red (Yolanda Montez) and that is the reason that the avatars aren\'t strong enough to defeat the Furies.
Suddenly various animals begin ȧssaulting the heroes as the Red Avatar splits herself into more and more animals to fight against them, even Powergirl is screaming out in pain as she\'s being crushed by a giant red eagle claw.

World Army Assault Craft.
Commander Khan kicks Terry out of the ship as he decides to make a new plan, that if the ship is going to explode he\'ll try something insane.
On Earth
The tunnels have been clear and right now Major Sato was standing in a room with a tunnel leading down deeper in the earth, with the heroes around her. She was holding a box which she promptly opened, revealing a miniature Atom.
She proceeds to drop him in the tunnel with the superheroes watch. He didn\'t say much as he went down into that tunnel to the open cave system deep beneath the earth\'s crust and Sato told him, "Godspeed Sarge." Once he got into the cave structure he grew as big as he could in that little small space, to push it further and make it larger, killing himself in his efforts.
He made a place of hope, a place of refuge and it would be called Adams haven. Major Sato thanked him for his sacrifice and ordered him to rest in peace soldier

Apokolips
While this was going on Khan was flying right into Darkseid\'s tower and he was preparing to destroy himself and take out Darkseid hopefully but Darkseid who was standing on the balcony fire is Omega beams. His Omega beams went sideways taking out the ship. Darkseid didn\'t even turn his head.
