Hearing the ringing of the phone, Sherry who was about to doze off on the couch was startled awake. Wiping away the thin layer of sweat on her forehead, she looked at the telephone on her walking table.

She stood up from the couch in a swift motion and went to grab the telephone.

“Dr. Sherry speaking.” She picked up the phone and responded to the call in a calm tone.

It was calm to the extent of sending chills down the spine of the staff lady who was on the other side of the phone.

“Umm, so-rry for disturbing your rest Dr. Sherry.” The staff stuttered a little and shot a piercing glance at Levian who despite seeing it just acted innocent and harmless.

The staff lady: “…..” This is all clearly for you!!

“Yes, I am listening.” Sherry answered back when no one spoke from the other side.

“Huh..Ohh.” She exclaimed and turned her attention to the call. She got slightly distracted

“Right, there is a patient here who is asking to meet you.” The staff calmed down and informed her.

“And he says he wants to do it now. He seems to be in pretty pinch situation but if you are tired I can just send him back.” She made her intention clear for calling and waited for Sherry to respond back.

Sherry raised her head and glanced at the watch on the wall. It was around 6 pm in the evening. Although she would have loved to go back and get rest, her heart was not happy with leaving a patient stranded like that.

“You can send him to my office then. I will get ready.” Sherry replied back after thinking for a while. She thought it was better to do something useful than get herself wasted away by thinking useless things.

“Y-You will?!” The staff was taken aback but she knew how Doctor Sherry was. She could never say no to anyone.

“Sorry for disturbing you and thank you, Dr. Sherry.” She gave a sincere smile and gratitude and ended the call.

Meanwhile, Levian who had been listening to their talk was also surprised to hear that Sherry agreed to meet a patient who was without any appointment and just because he said it was a complicated case.

The favorability point of Sherry increased more in his heart and he was starting to feel that Sherry was not a bad choice to partner with for a while.

“The fifth floor.” The staff looked at Levian and smiled giving him a letter of appointment.

“She said she will be waiting for you. I hope your complications get solved.” She smiled at Levian and continued with her previous work.

“You worked hard.” Levian gave a well done look to the staff and walked to the elevator.

‘Why did I feel like I just got praised by the CEO of my workplace?’ She was puzzled and watched the straight and proud back of Levian who exuded charm and confidence like a natural pheromone.

“Thank you mam, you are really kind.” Roy thanked the staff lady and went after Levian and large strides quickly catching up with him.

The elevator arrived right after they reached it and both mounted the elevator and pressed the button to go to the fifth floor.

The elevator was empty as not much people were present in the hospital. Even the staffs were slowly leaving one after another. Practically, after a few hours, the place was going to be silent like a grave at night with only doctors and nurses in white coats running around checking up on patients and doing rounds.

“It was easier than I thought.” Levian looked at the piece of paper in his hand and let out a husky chuckle.

“Boss, I have a question.” Roy had something he wanted to ask.

“Actually, I have more than one question.” Roy half shrugged his shoulder and let out a sigh. The day had been way too exciting for him but it brought him more curiosity.

“Hmm? Go on.” He nodded his head and probed the man to go forward with is question without any hesitation.

“First question!” Roy cleared his throat.

“Why did you agree to go to the wedding of Miss Sherry Lona?”

“No reason honestly, I guess I was just bored.” Levian replied as if it was no big deal going on a wedding.

“Then the next question. Why did you ask me to be kind to that cheating piece of shit?” Roy had been curious about this ever since they let the man on the car.

“Kill them with kindness.” Levian once again answered nonchalantly. His answers were short and precise.

Roy: “……”

“Cough cough, is that so?” He let out a slight cough to clear his throat and head on to the next question.

“What about giving him your business card?” Roy knew he was being chattier than usual but he did not care. His boss was to blame for doing weird things and breaking out of his character making him unable to hold in his curiosity.

“That? It’s just a bit of insurance for future.” Levian let out a mysterious laugh and Roy could even see a glint of mischievous glow in his eyes for a fraction of second. It was unusual for his boss to show that many different emotions in a single period of time when his boss was called as the stone faced monster.

“You will know what I mean when you see it for yourself in future.” Levian added a remark before returning back to his normal and apathetic self.

“Does that solve your curiosity?” Hearing no other questions from Roy, Levian asked.

“Yes boss, thank you for answering them.” Roy absent mindedly nodded his head because after getting the answers from him, he got even more confused about the real intention of his boss.

The elevator stopped at the fifth floor right when they finished their conversation.

“That’s good.” Levian gave a satisfied smile and looked in front of him just in time to see a hallway in front of them from the door of elevator.

“Now, we go to meet the real target of our day.” Levian stepped out of the elevator door and gave a smirking smile.
