“Your birthday?”  Luo Qing Chen’s expression changed as she suddenly had an idea.

Ye Qing said with a nod, “It’s a small bar that my big brother opened.  I invited some friends that I normally hang out with.  I don’t have any female friends, so if……if you don’t mind, you can come and have some cake.”

If it was before, Ye Qing would have felt proud when he said these words.

That night, Luo Qing Chen packed her things and looked out the window.

“A friend’s birthday party.”  Luo Qing Chen turned over with a smile, “You go back first, I’ll protect myself.”

He looked up and their eyes met.

It was silent all around.  Yan Ze had left early because of something and Tan Xiao and Mo Ling were on the side without saying anything.
