In the warehouse situated in the Bone Family\'s research institution, there were twenty containers containing a certain gelatinous salve. Seated on the floor before they were Jyorta and Henrik. And, flying above them were two Tier 3 River Whales.

"We\'ll do it in batches." Jyorta said, pointing at the ten Tier 3 River Whales, "Can you please feed them a lump of Healing Salve? Around 20 litres per each would do."

"At Tier 3, a litre would be the limit as to what they can digest…" Henrik was just about to retort when he noticed something amiss, hurriedly unleashing his psychic arm to inspect a Tier 3 River Whale, shuddering as he looked at Jyorta, "What…have you done to them?"

"They are batteries," Jyorta said casually.

\'Just…\' Henrik stopped his line of thought, no longer intending to dig any deeper, sighing as his psychic arm flashed a bit, instantly placing lumps of Healing Salve in the mouths of all ten River Whales.

He then sat on the floor as instructed by Jyorta.

"Please don\'t use your psychic arms for the time being. There is a good chance you might kill me while I am trying to treat you. There are certain risks if you keep your psychic arm unleashed, after all." Jyorta said, just in case.

There wasn\'t any need to do so. But, he didn\'t wish for Henrik to probe his secrets unnecessarily. If a Ground Controller wished to do so, there wasn\'t much Jyorta could do to prevent it. So, as a precaution, he made it seem as if there was a danger to his life if Henrik used his psychic arms.

Henrik materialised his psychic arms, allowing Jyorta to see them as he retracted them into his head. It wasn\'t necessary to do so. But, Henrik wanted to show Jyorta that he had indeed retracted his psychic arms.

Even though he was curious about Jyorta\'s abilities, becoming a Sky Controller was more important. He had clear priorities. So, he didn\'t wish to side-track any longer.

"You can sleep if you want. That\'ll help me even better." Jyorta said, taking in a deep breath as a River Whale arrived within the range of his Soul Cornea.

"Sure," Henrik didn\'t resist, calmly closing his eyes as he immediately fell asleep. He was able to manipulate his body to do so, something even Wave Controllers were capable of to a certain extent.

Soul Cornea—Corrosion!

Jyorta caused his second Soul Cornea to turn jet black and penetrate the cocoon shielding Henrik\'s soul, penetrating bit by bit. His first Soul Cornea siphoned energy from the soul of the River Whale.

After some effort, the second Soul Cornea managed to penetrate the soul cocoon, immediately unleashing its influence to the limit, beginning to vaporise the murkiness in its surroundings bit by bit.

Even though the effect was potent, Jyorta sported a frown. For, as the murkiness in Henrik\'s soul was vaporised bit by bit, a change was triggered in his body, immediately causing more murkiness to spill in like a tide.

\'I have to persist until his body is unable to generate murkiness any longer. Only after that can I work in vaporising all the murkiness in his soul.\' Jyorta sighed, firming himself, \'This would be a prolonged battle.\'

Two days later, sporting reddened eyes, Jyorta grunted, clenching his hand into a fist, \'Too strong. It took me two days just to finish vaporising the murkiness alone.\'

On the side, a River Whale manipulated some of the water layers around it, gently lifting some Healing Salve from a container before swallowing it. It then returned to its tank, resting. It was the one that Jyorta had just finished absorbing energy from.

It was almost expended of all its energy. Thankfully, as its skin was covered by the Shoe Fishes, its digestion speed had spiked. Adding onto its Essence of Frenzy, it was able to swiftly digest all the Healing Salve and replenish its energy back to full within a couple of hours. And this meant the Heart Crystals of itself and all the Shoe Fishes on it.

Now that all the murkiness had been vaporised, Jyorta gazed at Henrik\'s soul, noticing what seemed to resemble a fish with four long fins. It was his memory fragments creating such a shape in their existence.

Each soul was distinctly different in shape and size. After all, it varied based on how the memory fragments forming it had structured themselves. The structure formation depended mostly on the affinity of the memory fragments to one another.

So, the structures were usually large and hollow. This also allowed plenty of gaps for the murkiness to settle within and move around.

Jyorta\'s blue soul was different since he had stacked everything to consume as little space as possible. After all, he needed the remaining space to store the soul husks containing memory fragments from different beings that he had collected in the past and would collect in the future.

\'Now, the best method to go about solving Henrik\'s issue is to use his memory fragments. If I use mine, they would be corroded by the murkiness once his body generates it. So, I only have one option.\' Jyorta sighed, firming himself as he wore the goggles, \'Even though I didn\'t want to do this, I was planning to obtain memory fragments from humans anyway. Might as well obtain it when a chance presented itself.\'

Without the murkiness to fight back, all the second Soul Cornea had to defend against was the soul cocoon that was still trying to clamp on it. It then penetrated deeper into Henrik\'s soul, sucking the soul fragments bit by bit.

There wasn\'t much resistance the murkiness-less soul could offer as a significant volume of its memory fragments were absorbed. Jyorta didn\'t blindly absorb them, but rather probed around first, picking memory fragment clusters that seemed to be connected to the soul core of Henrik\'s Wisdom Parasite\'s soul.

\'These are probably the memory fragments it is using to make him lose control.\' Jyorta could feel his heart thumping in trepidation, fearing just what he might do next under the influence of Henrik\'s memory fragments, \'I have no other choice.\'

\'This is a necessity in my journey as a Psychic Parasite.\'
