Online Game: My Healing Becomes a Permanent Buff

CH 6

Chapter 6: Crushing Defeat, Dumbfounded Players

Su Ming calmly looked at the two.

【Feng Luan(Lv3)】

【Yi Biao Renzha(Lv3)】

Both of them were Red named players who had apparently killed the White Named players before*.

[TLN: Players that kill ordinary players have their username turned red since their sin value goes up.]

“As the saying goes, whoever sees it has a share of it. Priest bro, how about you let us have that treasure chest? I will reluctantly let you off the hook if you obediently hand it over.”

The Mage “Feng Luan” spoke in a threatening manner.

“Dude, if you want the treasure chest, you’d better weigh your strength… a mere insignificant Lv2 Priest… haha.” The warrior on the side laughed.

The two didn’t put Su Ming in their eyes at all.

Faced with their mocking words, Su Ming was unfazed. No matter what, he was someone who had experienced life and death and some trash talks wouldn’t sway him at all.

“Since you guys are so confident in your strength, you must have some powerful cards up your sleeves.”

Su Ming meaningfully implied.

Then, a grin appeared on his face. Looking directly at the two players, Su Ming playfully said, “The chest is here, it’s up to you guys whether you can snatch it away.”

Killing players for their equipment, and stealing bosses… were common things in MMORPG games.

The game world inherently obeyed the law of the jungle: bullying the weak and fearing the strong.

Strength justifies everything!

Although Su Ming wasn’t a fan of bullying others, his opponents “behavior” had to be treated well with care.

Otherwise, it’d be truly unworthy of their arrogant attitudes.

“You refused a toast only to drink a forfeit*.  I don’t know why you, a mere priest, got the courage to defy us.” The warrior said sarcastically.

[*to hesitate to do something until one was forced to do so.]

“Nighthawk, kill him!”

Feng Luan shouted fiercely.

There was a slight fluctuation in the space not far from Su Ming.

“Is the little mouse hiding in the shadows finally willing to come out?” He said leisurely.

What?

Was I discovered by that Priest?!

The stealthy Assassin player “Nighthawk” groaned silently. He exposed himself by only being 3 meters away from Su Ming.

In Su Ming’s previous life as a Mage, he had fought against numerous Assassins. With the advantage of a Mage’s wisdom attribute, he figured a way to sense the flow of space to determine the assassins’ location.

“Even if you have spotted me, so what?! At a range this close, a Lv2 Priest like you will surely die!”

Nighthawk rushed forward to stab Su Ming with a sharp dagger.

Su Ming, as calm as ever, stood still in place.

The best way to strike an enemy down was to make them completely desperate!

“This kid was scared silly. Haha, today’s luck is indeed good, I stole a staff before and now I’m picking up a bronze treasure chest.”

The two people watching the battle were full of smiles.

As the blade was getting closer and closer to Su Ming’s heart, the sardonic smile on Nighthawk’s face grew wider and wider.

“Die for me!”

Chi*!

[TLN:laugh/sneer/scoff/jeer at.]

-0!

Extremely eye-catching numbers appeared in everyone’s sight, however, Su Ming’s HP remained the same as ever.

“What! No HP loss? Impossible!”

Nighthawk’s expression suddenly froze. He had lost his voice for a second before crying out.

Instantly, he noticed that Su Ming’s HP bar had a blue tint.

“It turned out that you have defensive equipment, huh. You may have survived one slash but I don’t believe you can survive ten more!”

Nighthawk’s eyes turned vicious.

Upon hearing that, Su Ming was delighted.

If you can’t break my defense by attacking, what’s the use of even a thousand slashes?

What’s more, Su Ming had the『Frost Breaker』buff on him while most players didn’t even have 500 HP. Once the buff was triggered, the surrounding enemies would surely die.

-0,-0,-0……

Nighthawk stabbed and slashed but the continuation of “zero” made him nearly give up.

Was this a f*cking priest???

He surely had to be a ghost. Was he really not a warrior imposing as a priest?

The two observers’ eyes were filled with shock.

Feng Luan then realized that he had kicked on an iron plate*, so he frantically looked for a way out.

[*To mess with someone you shouldn’t have.]

Su Ming had also noticed Feng Luan’s actions.

He immediately took out his staff and smashed the Assassin trice in succession. A dagger fell on the ground after that

-142!

-142!

-142!

“Ding! Your killing of the Red named player『Nighthawk』will not increase your sin value.”

Su Ming picked up the dagger and looked at the other two.

“MD*, brat, just you wait. You better look out for this laozi.”

[TLN: MD = fuvk your mama’s vag*na. Laozi = I, your father — an arrogant way to belittle someone.]

After his ‘vicious’ threats, Feng Luan ran away.

In his opinion, he was a Lv3 Mage who had a Black Iron shoe. Even if he couldn’t beat Su Ming, couldn’t he still outrun him?

However, the reality was cruel.

“Now you want to run?… Too late!”

Su Ming dashed and killed the warrior before chasing Feng Luan…

……

In the gloomy woods…

Feng Luan fled in panic and looked back. He was scared out of his wits when he realized Su Ming was getting closer to him.

Seriously?! Why was he moving so fast as a Priest?!

Feng Luan’s chaotic mind ran into a rout.

Just then, a team appeared in front of the escape route.

“Feng Luan? MD! We’ve finally caught you.”

“Stinky brat, how dare you snatch our chairman’s sister’s staff?! If I don’t teach you a lesson today, I’d simply be sorry for not dealing with that notoriety of your Black Sand Guild.”

After seeing the fugitive’s face clearly, the crowd immediately took out their weapons.

“Flying Feather Guild?!”

Hearing the player’s voice, Feng Luan was scared silly. Enemies do meet on a narrow road*.

[*An inevitable clash with your enemies is eventual no matter how much you try to avoid them.]

“It seems like you’ve messed with a lot of people.”

Su Ming’s eyes were indifferent. Without hesitation, he swung his staff and smashed it at Feng Luan’s face.

Crack! Crack!

The crisp sound of bones breaking reverberated through the ears of the crowd, chilling everyone’s heart.

He was so violent!

-140!

-140!

“Ding! Your killing of the Red Named player『Feng Luan』will not increase your sin value.”

A Mage’s defense was inherently low, so with Su Ming’s two normal attacks, Feng Luan’s HP was completely emptied.

Some silver and three pieces of equipment, including a staff, dropped from the corpse…

Su Ming picked up Feng Luan’s corpse with one hand and threw it into the bushes like garbage. After picking up the items on the ground, he turned around and returned to the treasure chest.

The  Flying Feather Guild: “……”

The sudden event had left them bewildered.

Feng Luan… did he die? Just like that…?

The people looked at each other and saw the shock on each other’s faces.

That had to be a joke, right?!
