Nikita

Chapter 149 - 107: Her Truth, His Mission

[NIKITA]

"Get out,  mate. Unless you\'re deaf or dumb,  I simply learnt drag tour as out the door onbthe same way that you walked in and I don\'t want to see you anywhere around here. Or that older woman in your house,  the maid,  ah wait,  Natalya is her name. Oh yes. I will kill her and there won\'t be a thing you will do " Arya warned again. She wasn\'t really in the moos to explain to Nikita what mates meant. However, by his tone she was sure he had heard that more than once but this was not the time to play reputation analysis or anything. This was her time to see that her mate got out and she went back to bed without having any of her men shot again. She would ruin him if he so much as raised a finger at them. That much was obvious.

"You wouldn\'t dare  "Nikita said, making Arya roll ehr eyes. The Thai man was really tending her patience huh?

"I think you\'re mistaking me and you to be friends. I could easily reunite you with your dead family and no one would care" Arya warned,  though she knew she would care. She had gone through too much trouble to let anyone interfere with her plans for the doctor but no one would know that save for the people around her daily. She hated that she had to bring up the wounds that were so fresh, but this was all part of her mision to see him accept that they were all dead and never coming back, he had to because there was really no other way to see this through. He had to grieve. He had to let himself free because until he kept ignoring his pain, the doctor would be hurt even more daily. And that was risky.

"Arya" Nikita called otu quietly and disbelievingly before looking abc at jer. She was right through, he had no right to be here. There was nothing for him and they rented friends for him to sit and insist that she give him the answers. It didn\'t help that everyone else was throwing daggers at him with their eyes. What the hell was he supposed to do to make Arya trust her? How was he to make her talk to him?

"Did you guys hear me tell him to get out or was I talking to myself?" Arya asked while everyone just nodded,  none of them daring to say a word.  Even Enrique who has seven whɨnės about his coffee had shut up sometime back.

"Okay fine. But I\'ll uncover what what you are doing Arya Knight. I don\'t care that you\'re a werewolf.  I will know what it is you\'re hiding from me" Nikita said as he raised his hand up in surrender, and put his gun back in his pocket. Even through was about to walk out the door, he had learned a few things about Arya and ehr people. She loved them and protected them. They were loyal to her and it wast because of her rank. They are loyal because she had earned their trust and loyalty. She was the Nikita to their Rostova legion. It took a lot to get someone to trust her like that, which meant that there had to have been sacrifices, something that only Arya would have made happen. The human he had seen was clearly important o to Arya. she cared about him, but only like a sister would a brother. He was a little over thirty years old, so that want there was nothing that could happen between the two of them. The other two men who he had known as Enrique the terrible coffee maker and Ken the coffee machine expert, they were her warriors, like he had Carrie and QIao. they would die before they let anything happen to Arya. he had also realized that there was someone else in this house, one who had kept interrupting but the tem had found terrible ways of covering up. Maybe he was a werewolf too or there was something wrong with him, but Nikita was sure that man was the one who had opened the door and walked out. Maybe he had turned to a wolf and walked through the windows. Other than that, he could see there were sensors all over the room, that detected every motion. With this there was a chance that the CCTV footage had already been deleted by the man on the other side of this room, which meant that he wasn\'t even going to try getting the fortage to determine who was who. They were smart, but just like them, the doctor was smart tpp. He was quite relaxed now that he had seen that Rohit wasn\'t Arya\'s boyfriend or anything, and he was certain that the man on the other side wasn\'t her boyfriend too. The rebel had no one to call her own in a romantic way and that made Nikita\'s heart flutter with hope. Maybe he could try to shoot his shot and win Arya\'s heart, but with the amount of screwups he had mastered, the doctor would have to put in more effort, but that didn tworry him. The doctor didn\'t have a boyfriend and that was all the happiness and ȧssurance he needed today. It was the best adrenaline boost more than his regular coffee. Eh would do as she had said. He would leave. He wouldn\'t sell her house, but he would always be watching her.

"For your sake,  I really hope you don\'t find out before time, mate" Arya whispered to no one in particular as she watched Enrique walk out Nikita. Nikita had heard her and for the second time he heard about the term mate.  He would look up what mate meant in the werewolf world. Or maybe it was something that people around him suddenly liked saying.  But he was smart and he knew there was more. He would get the answer on that term. That morning as he walked out the doctor made himself a promise. He would get this oil. Crazy or not, he would have her, and not because she was an object, but because she was the perfect fit for his world. She was crazy, she was powerful, she was intelligent, she was composed and she was a risk that he was willing to take. Nikita had not known when he had fallen in love with Arya, but he would make things right.. Sure they were enemies at this point, but he could tell she wasn\'t a cruel person. Her people and showed him that this woman was the definition of love, power and strength. She was all that and she seemed like a go to person when they had issues. If a human was able to trust her enough to share the same roof with werewolves, thenArya Knight had to be something else. And the way she had rushed to see if the man was hurt or not, it showed him she had empathy. Maybe he was thinning with his heart, but Nikita realized that since he met Arya, or rather, since their worlds had crashed, he always found a reason to look forward to tomorrow. Of course there were days when his aim was to eliminate Arya, but there were the few days, the little moments when he would wake up because he wanted to see and understand Arya Knight.. He wanted to see her, he wanted to know what her world looked like. But then, if Arya showed him her world, would Nikita reing in it or would he tap out at the get go?
