Chapter 136 - 035: You Know Him?

"Are we…How did you…Why…When did you—" Ken began, unsure of what he needed to ask. There were so many things he was curious about. Did the alpha mean Samantha when he asked about the shift? But then that couldn\'t be because Arya never talked about Sammy anywhere. It was like a forbidden word in her dictionary, but what if? Did Arya know his relationship or the crush he had on samantha? Was that what she wanted to tell him? Did Arya know where she was? There were so many questions whose answers were unknown to Ken. he was desperate for those answers. Desperate to see santa. He wondered if she still liked him. Whether she thought of him. He wondered whether she had found a partner and settled down. To the world, santana was dead but to Ken he would find her and bring her home he didn\'t care what the word would say and certainly not what the alphas would say. He would prove them all wrong, however, right now, he hoped Arya would share the information with him.
"You lost the bet, so you didn\'t get to ask questions, ha" ARya said, her laugh filling the car. She was not going to tell me anything, not because she didn\'t want to but because he had lost the bet. Ken interna;ly cursed the men he was fighting for scratching his arm. Sure it had healed, but there had been a scratch. That is all that mattered and now, he didn\'t get information about the woman he loved. Fuck. he wished he could sweet talk Arya into telling him, but he was so scared of the information this woman had to even think of telling her anything.
"What music do you like?" Arya asked Ken when the silence became a little too uneasy. Arya knew he was deep in his thoughts, but still, he needed to be happy that they had lashed out at the twelve man team that had been left to attack them.all without even having to shift into their wolves. That was something worth celebrating, but Arya didn\'t want to poke. Maybe music would make eveyrthgibeteer, but would it, when the man on the passenger seat was still thinking of the girl he had last seen eight years ago?

She knew how important that topic was to Ken, which is why she would give him chances to try and pry into the whereabouts of the girl she had made her promise to. Maybe when the time is right, they will all come together to make things possible. That was all they could hope for.

"Let\'s change the topic because you look constipated as fuċk" Arya laughed again. The warrior didn\'t look like he had just fought twelve men and won. No. he looked like a lover who had been abandoned several years ago, but one who still hoped that things would get better. "Alpha, what was that back there about the details?" Ken asked Arya who was vibing to BTS\'s Mikrokosmos. It was one of her favorite comfort sogs, thought this time, she was playing it for Ken. he looked miserable as fuċk.
"That bastard is the very reason everything turned out how they did \'\' Arya said and Ken just looked at her as he didn\'t understand what she meant by everything.

"The quack wanted the Pavlenko wealth all to himself and his family. And since he and his people couldn\'t get it in the right way, they decided to bring down the plane. They knew Nikita had no interest in the company and that he would leave it all to fall. So they were counting on the mentally unstable doctor to give it all up" Arya said angrily. Thinkin gof the man behind the mask made her wnat to murder him. Whatever the quack had done wasn\'t right. He had ruined a whole family for wealth that would never be his. He had betrayed a lot of people and while Arya was angry right now, If Carrie found out who was wearing the mask, she would skin him alive. Carrie would do everything that no one had ever thought possible to the man and there would be no one to save the quack when that time came. Absolutely no one.
"You seem to know this quack alpha," Ken said carefully and Arya sighed. She didn\'t want him to be walking on eggshells around her. They were on the same team, fighting for the same outcome. They needed to be more free with each other. Besides, it wasn\'t like they would ever be romantically involved anyway.
"Of course I do. I did my homework on all the people around Nikita. The important ones. The jealous ones. The ones who wanted to see him dead. Everything about him. I did the search and have the details, \'\' Arya said with pride. She always took pride in the success of her missions and while the Nikita mission was ongoing, she knew without a doubt that she would win in the end. Sure, there would be challenges, but she was ready. She had a whole army ready in case the Rostova legion had proven not enough for the Pavlenko team. She would lend them her own army.
"Are the soldiers part of that list? I mean he seems to trust them so much, it would be quite cruel if they betrayed him, no?" Ken spoke out curiously. He knew of the relationship Nikita had with the two soldiers. It was kinda like the relationship Arya had with the warriors. They were friends and were loyal to each other.
"Well, they are and aren\'t part of all that. They are part of the list because they are the closest people to Nikita who genuinely care about him. And they are not part of it because they care too much. If they knew who was behind the quack\'s mask, they would kill him first and ask questions later. That much I know. Carrie has quite the temper, and Qiao too. With their combat skills and intelligence, they would make the world unbearable for the quack" ARya said with a cold laugh. The fact that the quack was alive didn\'t sit well with her, but she couldn\'t eliminate him. Not yet. At least she would wait until the doctor got his closure, which she was hoping would be somewhere between the seven months she had left in this realm.. Hopefully she will make things right before dealing with the other end.
