NEW YEAR AND AN APOCALYPSE

Chapter 59: BINDED AS ONE

Sellena was dragged to a room,

In which she saw humans getting torn apart,

She felt uneasy just as soon-

As the bloody scene had start.

Belphegor walked up to her side,

"We'd feed them up until you decide,

Marry Asmodeus and be binded as one,

Unless you want all the survivors here...completely gone,"

The zombified creatures gnarled and scream,

Searching for food, as Lucifer brings another set in,

Sellena thought thorougly, but her heart won over,

"Fine, I'll marry him," "Fantastic, now moreover,-"

"Know that you're lucky that you're marrying that man,

So take it not for granted, and enjoy it while you can,

We thought that binding you together will break the barrier with him,

As we've asked the smartest demons, and they said this things they have already seen."

"So? What are you going to use me for?"

"Obviously an angel gave the protection to you so strong even their kind can't break it,

But luckily we assumed this has happened before,

If he makes you his, then you're completely ours alone, so be a good girl and just accept it,"

Sellena was boiling in anger at what she had heard,

What did she did again for such things she be incurred?

Taking a deep breath she agreed anyways,

She needed to gain their trust, even if it takes a hundred days.

Belphegor's eyes lit in joy,

"You know...you're quite an amusing toy,

But if he asks for your consent, just agree,

There's an oath he takes so seriously,"

Sellena's eyes widened, and all this time she believed he's just granted her a present,

Not knowing that he do it with every woman he have,

A demon of lust? Being half decent?

"Why do you look surprised? Have you believed he never had a good side?

Do you believed we're one dimensional epitome of evil?

As funny as it sounds,

If we choose to, we could be civil,"

Sellena knew that demons lie much,

But she also knew that ever since she came, Asmodeus did limit his touch,

His tone was milder, compared to the others she have talked to,

But was it all just an act that he needed to do?

She shrugged off her thoughts, but to be touched by a man she doesn't love,

That was a bit too much to demand,

She knew that she may have been tied to these creatures,

But she will allow herself to answer God's command.

...

When the ceremony was prepared,

And their vows to Lucifer shared,

Sellena was put the official crown of hell,

As it ringed to her ears what sounded like bells.

It sounded melancholic, scary and threatening,

As the demons cheered, for the kiss they'd be having,

Asmodeus' women, in the crowd were angrily staring,

As Sellena closed her eyes, as the two, started kissing.

She quickly pulled away,

Before Asmodeus could even think,

And the thoughts played in her head,

As many as she blinks.

Half of her was dead, and she wanted to give up,

But she must be strong, no way she's the captive they have trapped,

As the crowd clapped in cheers, at their wedding grand.

Now that she was married, to one of the Prince of hell,

The angels will have to try a lot, and this fight will be sure fair.

Asmodeus felt the uneasiness, the uncomfortable silence in her lips,

"I'm sure you loathed me, I'm sure you did with all of this,

But think about it, you are lucky, many are dreaming of such honor,"

"What honor are you speaking of? If you're a demon's lover?"

The demon frowned upon her words,

His chest tightening and rather hurt,

He couldn't explain why he'd feel offended by her,

Even though they had only been together.

He led her to her room to rest,

But she couldn't care any less,

She was finding it harder to sleep,

This strong impression, how can she manage to keep?

"We don't have to do it if you don't want to,"

"Wow, you controlled your urges? Well, why thank you,"

Asmodeus was shocked that she was still acting in such way,

He simply stopped himself, from lashing out that day.

He simply slept, back turned on her,

As Sellena tried to warm herself, as the night grew colder,

But her shifting soon, woke the demon up,

So he simply stood, and had enough.

He wrapped his arms around her, as she tried to move away,

But the demon had enough, and badly wanted her to stay,

His hands didn't wander, to the places she thought it'd be,

But simply warmed her, "I just want you to like me,"

His words were soft and sleepy,

And Sellena still didn't bought it,

But tired all the same she let him hug her,

As her mind fought herself from sleep.

The barrier did not activate as the demons had hoped,

He was now her husband, but it felt like they just eloped,

How would her parents feel?

When they hear this damned sort of deal?

Her thoughts would have wandered more,

If not for the warmth that's enveloping her,

Tired and frustrated, her conciousness left,

This wedding she had no choice of, had her bereft.

...

Ken then was trained,

And told of the power their bloodlied maintained,

Determined to help the woman, he have seen before,

He practiced day and night,

Until he pass out on the floor.

The angels felt a little reluctant,

If he surely is the one,

But they shrugged off being hesitant,

When they saw him persevere to do what he can.

No longer the faith-lackened boy as he was before,

As he found people worth fighting for,

And even though mystified of his ancestral origin,

He did his best, and pray his all that they win.

As faith and courage became binded as one,

Ken hoped that all evil could finally be gone,

But with Sellena on the other side,

How would this tale, finally arrive?
