My Young Lord Is Really Righteous

Chapter 32

Luo Hong started to pay attention to the Qinghua Literature Gathering.

After all, he had written Hu Zhishui’s name in the other slot for ‘Today’s Target’, so the latter had become the protagonist in his diary.

Since he had determined the main character of his diary, Luo Hong’s next step would be simple. He just had to plan his steps around Hu Zhishui which would be much easier than his previous evil plans.

The white as snow moonlight felt calm and elegant. It shone through the red wooden window and shed its brilliance over him as if there was a layer of glow on him.

He first cultivated according to the Sword Qi Secrets and moved his sword qi around his meridians. The pain moved through his meridians swiftly and caused him to sweat tremendously.

It was a painful cultivation.

Luo Hong clenched his teeth and cultivated the Sword Qi Secrets five times before he failed to keep up.

A little rest later, Luo Hong decided to cultivate Phantom Shadow.

Compared to the Sword Qi Secret, the cultivation of Phantom Shadow was much more comfortable.

As his cultivation went on, the ominous yin energy around his body gathered at his dantian before it was compressed and stored.

The yang energy in his body got bolder and more pronounced as the yin energy was absorbed by his dantian.

With the bright brilliance shining over his body and his yang energy being as strong as the sun, his bold presence made him look like Buddha reincarnated. His body resembled the golden vessel of the Buddha bathed in holy light.

At the rooftop of the Luo Residence, the residence stood there alone under the night sky. His green robe was fluttering in the breeze while his hands were behind his back as he gazed into the night sky with his sharp gaze. His slightly slim face looked rather cold and serious.

As he looked around, his sharp gaze penetrated the red wooden window and he saw Luo Hong sitting on the bed. It was then that the cold expression on his face grew warmer, making him look like a doting elder.

He was impressed by the pronounced yang energy and the moonlight glow around Luo Hong’s body.

“The yang energy in the young lord is getting stronger. Killing the evil being really boosted his mentality. His yang energy is as strong as an Eighth Grade Ruism cultivator’s now.”

Butler Chen then turned to Luo Xiaoxiao’s courtyard.

Luo Xiaoxiao slept with her legs wide open and her sheets were pushed off the bed. She snored as she talked in her dream, “Which cousin is Romeo?”

Butler Chen could not help but break into laughter.

In the next moment, his figure disappeared from the rooftop and appeared in Luo Xiaoxiao’s room like a falling leaf. He carefully put the sheets on the little girl.

Shoosh!

In the blink of an eye, Butler Chen returned to the rooftop with his hands behind his back, standing straight like an erected pillar. His warm and merciful gaze suddenly turned cold and sharp.

“I, Chen Tianxuan, will never allow anyone to harm the young lord and the young lady. Whomsoever who dares lay a finger on them will have death befall them!”

The word ‘death’ sounded vast and strong as if it was a roar that echoed throughout the realm.

On the second day, Luo Hong woke up extra early. It was 20th June, the day when the Qinghua Literature Gathering would be held.

Luo Hong put on his snow-white robes. A lock of hair was hanging at his forehead which added to his charm.

When he walked into the living room, Little Douhua already had breakfast prepared.

Luo Hong glanced at her, and the glance reminded her of the ‘recording’ yesterday. She flushed and ran back to the kitchen nervously.

Butler Chen had a spoonful of soybean pudding in his mouth, and he almost choked on the pudding when he noticed the little encounter.

‘Are all the young ones this fast with their relationship nowadays?!”

While Luo Xiaoxiao’s body was still sleeping, her heart was already eating breakfast and the maids had carried her into the living room for breakfast.

Luo Hong skillfully took half of Luo Xiaoxiao’s soybean pudding for himself and left her a piece of fried dough stick.

After breakfast, Luo Hong got up and wanted to head out.

When Zhao Donghan saw that, he grabbed his sword with a strict expression and wanted to follow Luo Hong out.

“Zhao, I have something to do today. You don’t need to follow me, so take the day off.” Luo Hong quickly stopped him before he could follow.

Surprised, the scar on Zhao Donghan’s face twitched. “My young lord, it’s not been safe recently. I’d better follow you around so that I can protect you at all times.”

Since he remembered what Butler Chen said, he dared not be careless this time.

However, Luo Hong did not want Zhao Donghan to follow him, so he did his best to dissuade the man.

“Where are you going today, my young lord? Let me know so that I can…” Zhao Donghan gave up in the end and took a step back to meet Luo Hong halfway.

A quick thought later, Luo Hong decided to tell Zhao Donghan the address, “Qinghua Theatre.”

The scar on Zhao Donghan’s face twitched when he heard the address, and he looked at Luo Hong with a meaningful gaze. “I understand, my young lord. You might be still young, but you must learn how to control your…body,” he said.

‘The young lord is going to Qinghua? No wonder he doesn’t want me to follow him! Qinghua Theatre is the biggest brothel and entertainment hub in Anping County. Why am I even following the young lord there?!’

Luo Hong did not expect Zhao Donghan to be this succinct, which saved his time and energy to persuade him.

After getting out of the Luo Residence, Luo Hong got into the wagon that Zhao Donghan had prepared for him and the wagoner drove him straight to Qinghua Theatre. The wagon shuttled through several streets and alleys before reaching the infamous Qinghua Theatre.

Qinghua Theatre should be more lively at night because when the lights lit up in the night, the wealthy would gather at the theatre for a song or two while having a seafood meal.

However, Qinghua Theatre was crowded even when the sun was up on this particular day.

Many scholars dressed in simple colored garbs gathered at the entrance, talking and chatting with each other.

Qinghua Theatre was a three-story octagonal pavilion. Even the most secluded alley could not dim down her grace. The building was one of a kind in Anping County. The place had been bought out by the great philanthropist of Anping County, Hu Zhishui, for the sake of the literature gathering.

The Hus was a family of businessmen who had been on the rise in recent years. Other than being a great philanthropist and a wealthy businessman, Hu Zhishui was also a kind person.

Even though Master Hu did not have any academic titles, he adored the scholars and frequently held literature gatherings for them. Therefore, Master Hu was quite close to many of the scholars and he was also admired by many.

When the Luo Residence’s wagon arrived in front of Qinghua Theatre, it captured the attention of many scholars. They knew where the wagon was from.

“Is this a wagon from the Luo Residence?”

“The Luo Residence of Anping County? Young Lord ‘Long Hoe’s family? Could he be inside the wagon?”

“Master Hu invited Young Lord ‘Long Hoe? This isn’t right. The young lord has never attended this kind of literature gathering.

The scholars fixated their gaze at the wagon as they were surprised by its arrival.

When the wagon finally stopped, Luo Hong opened the door and came out. His snow-white robe made him look extremely elegant and handsome, but his gaze on Qinghua Theatre seemed a little complicated.

‘Qinghua Theatre is a brothel? No wonder Zhao Donghan look at me with that strange gaze just now.’

The scholars were excited by Luo Hong’s arrival, so they gathered around and wanted to greet him. Young Lord ‘Long Hoe’ was known for his elegance and easy-going personality, and his reputation was as great as Master Hu in Anping County.

However, when a crowd of scholars gathered around Luo Hong, they started shoving and jostling, and one of them shouted maniacally at him, “Luo Hong! You thief! You shameless rascal! You stole my invitation and you will die a horrible death because of it!”

Appearing disheveled with an untrimmed beard and dirty robes, Jia Sidao’s eyes were red as he stared begrudgingly at Luo Hong. His uncle had been fired by the local office because of Luo Hong, which caused him to lose his support. He was then locked up in jail and had suffered for several days.

More importantly, when he was finally released to go home, he realized that the invitation to the literature gathering, which he had spent 10 silver taels to get, had been taken away by Luo Hong.

The torment he suffered in jail broke his mentality, so he lost it when he could not find his invitation.

Since he knew that Luo Hong had taken his invitation, he decided to wait for the latter at Qinghua Theatre. If Luo Hong showed up, he would be able to expose the thief on the spot!

‘Long Hoe! I know you care about your reputation a lot. Now, I, Jia Sidao, will ruin you!’
