Jian Zhifei smiled. “Yun Wei, why are you blushing?”

“The coffee is too hot…” Yun Wei replied, gently massaging her face as she walked out of the pantry with the coffee in hand.

When Yun Wei returned to the classroom, many of the female students crowded around her and asked, “Yun Wei, did you get to sit next to Master Ting? Did he talk to you? Does his voice sound nice?”

Without waiting for Yun Wei’s response, the girls started lusting after Lu Zhanting. “Of course his voice would be lyrical. He’s such a good-looking man, so surely his voice would sound nice and send shivers tingling down one’s spine.”

Looking unhappy, Hua Shasha walked over to Yun Wei and said, “Yun Wei, what’s wrong with you? I wanted to help you out earlier. Why didn’t you listen to my instructions?” she arrogantly demanded.

Smiling, Yun Wei replied, “You didn’t need to help me. It was something I could manage on my own, so I didn’t take your help.”

“What do you mean by that? You don’t regard me as a good friend anymore?” Hua Shasha demanded to know.

Yun Wei thought to herself: You stole my boyfriend and scammed me out of my money. And yet, you still claim to be my good friend?

Without displaying any signs of emotion, Yun Wei exclaimed in surprise, “Shasha, you’re behaving very strangely, always saying such weird things.”

Noting that there were many people around them, Hua Shasha decided not to say too much and tried her best to contain her fury for now.

“Everyone, in a short while, the directors will visit our class to join our open classroom, so please be prepared,” the teacher loudly announced.

“Wow! Directors. Open classroom!” the female students screeched. “I wonder if Master Ting will be coming to our class?”

“That would definitely be a coincidence. Since there are so many classes in session, wouldn’t it be a real coincidence if Master Ting were to draw the straw for our class?”

Very soon, the bell sounded for class to begin.
