All right, sorry it took so long. I've had to get ready for college and what not.

Anyway so I'll be starting to get back to work by the end of this week. so no more despair.

Also, one very important question.

I've had a lot of time to think about a lot of things things I'm going to implement. in addition, there's one thing that's been bothering me.

Does directly reincarnating him as a high-class devil violate the mob rule? I mean, the term "mob character" can be used as a title for any throw away character that rarely appears in a story. whether or not they are a commoner or high-class devil. it doesn't necessarily have to do with social position or strengths or weaknesses.

Because I've been really entertaining the idea of just directly reincarnating him as Diodora.

I swear to the gods I have no f.u.c.k.i.n.g idea where this thought came from, but it's been stuck in my head for a the past 2 weeks now and won't go away. I just woke up one morning and I thought "Hey, why not just reincarnate lin as Diodora? You are already rewriting the book anyways"

By directly reincarnating him as Diodora he can not only still be a mob, but he can still earn the position of childhood friend along with Sona and Rias, as all three of them are direct siblings of the satans and are around the same age.

I mean, not only does he have a small presence in the story, he is without a doubt a throwaway "mob character" that gets killed off by another mob character. Also, although he's been shown that he does have a peerage, we don't even get a name for any of them. all of them are throw away characters.

Plus, it also gives a reason to be able to approach Aisa. (being the cause of her excommunication, and then rescuing her from falling angels)

He is without a doubt a perfect reincarnation destination.

Hell, he even has a similar hair color scheme to what I initially planned for Lin.

Secondly, after I thought about it, I found the whole situation with Lin's mom to be kind of stupid. A regular commoner just can't become best friends with a noble like that. I mean it's not impossible, but highly unlikely.

It also primarily comes from the fact that I could not come up with a proper character for her in my head.

I mean sure, I can just give the nameless lady Astaroth her name and character sheet and put her in the exact same position as lady Gremory's best friend. which also leads to the reason sirzechs and ajuka are such close friends.

Also, in terms of the whole "no special bloodline" thing, I feel like that can just disappear, a clear description of the Astaroth family bloodline ability was never described. Ajuka seems to be a special case in his own, and diodora never really showed any type of special ability nor was he shown to be anything special as a devil. Besides, excluding things like the power of Destruction or immortality or time manipulation, many of the known special clan abilities don't seem so *bombastic" (for example, sitri and water). so I could probably come up with something that's not so broken or even classified as op. like special magic eyes or photographic memory or something.

All in all, I thought that a Diodora reincarnation might be interesting. I have yet to find a single one about him. I mean, I've seen reincarnated as Riser, but not Diodora. In addition, the whole old satan faction story can still happen without him being there. he was but a mere obstacle.

in conclusion, I don't know what to do man, someone reassure me or condemn me. either or is fine.
