[I WANT YOU TO BECOME A SORCERER, TOO.]

That thought kept me awake for hours. It was a good thing, since it\'s my day off today. I have the entire day to just rest.

Upon knowing that, I requested Fei for us to end the thought conversation and sleep for the rest of the night. He obliged and apologized if I were shocked. He didn\'t really push through about it further and gave me the time I needed.

Thankfully, I slept good enough and woke up around 11 in the morning. I feel recharged, but the lingering idea was trying to suck out all my energy and making me feel very exhausted, just by the thought of it. How can I be a sorcerer?

Or… To begin with, do I wanna be a sorcerer?

Moreover, do I wanna be with him?

I mean, I like him, that\'s for sure, but my Mama Oleander\'s words sort of became my standard. I need to get to know him more. Since we already have our first night together, there\'s four more days remaining.

After fixing my bed, I went down to the kitchen to have my late breakfast. To my surprise, Ellis was laughing so hard as I heard him from the stairs, talking to someone. As I move closer, the voice becomes more familiar to me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked the guy who Ellis is talking with.

"Hey, Trick. Did you know that Fei is the Chief Marketing Officer of XYZ Textiles, NYC? As a drag queen who sews her own dresses, I believe we could be very good friends," Ellis spoke.

I didn\'t know that, but what\'s alarming me more is that Ellis could be using Fei to his advantage. That\'s shameful because XYZ boutiques are selling high-end fashion dresses, from oriental to western styles.

"Hi, Trick. I brought some coffee and mooncakes from a small shop called Hua Xiang, somewhere in Chinatown. Come, have a bite," Fei invited.

I sat beside Fei and he slid the iced coffee cup near me. I drank the coffee and it was way better than what we have at Robbie\'s. Probably it has some Chinese coffee beans or something.

"This tastes really great," I commended, and then I looked at Ellis. "Do you want some coffee, Ellis?"

"I\'ve had mine already," Ellis replied as he pointed to the trash bin with his coffee cup already thrown. "So, Fei, you said that you wanna pursue my bestie here, yes?"

"I do," Fei immediately answered.

"That\'s great, because I totally give you my blessing. Just make sure I get discounts when I shop at XYZ boutique downtown, okay?" Ellis said.

"I\'m gonna give you a two-thousand-dollar gift card monthly, if you want," Fei offered.

I wasn\'t able to cut off Ellis\' extortion plan since he talked real fast, and when he did, I was already speechless. "Done deal, my dear boy. Just be gentle to him, okay? He hasn\'t had any dick for a couple of years. Use a lot of lubricant, please. Let me give you a visual. It\'s like the untouched Sahara desert. It\'s as if it\'s been more than a year without rain. All he does is to wank himself to sleep at night and—"

I took the nearest mooncake in front of me and stuffed Ellis\' mouth. "I love you, Ellis, but will you please stop embarrassing me!"

Fei chortled. "I love this kind of talk, you know. In our family, everybody is really serious. I mean, we do laugh with some fun stuff, but we rarely fool around, let alone talking about sex."

"Please don\'t patronize Ellis. Also, forget about the gift card. Don\'t tolerate him. It\'s extortion," I commanded Fei.

"No, it\'s okay. You know what, we\'ve been looking for distinctive concepts to commercialize XYZ, and Ellis suggested that we feature drag queens. I never thought of that brilliant idea, actually. They can showcase our latest collection with drag. I\'m gonna pitch that later tonight to Gramms and see if she likes it, and if she does, I might reach out for Ellis here to be featured in our boutiques," Fei explained.

Who would thought that drag can be a symbol of high fashion? Somehow, that is flattering for Ellis, and that makes me proud. I can imagine how fabulous that would be.

"Well, make him work hard for it, and not just by selling my soul to you for a monthly gift card," I proposed.

"Oh, by the looks of it, he could just spread himself wide to you instead," Ellis said. "The gift card was just a bonus."

I stared at Ellis with a poker face. "I thank you for everything, but can you please give us a private moment, Ellis? We just need to talk."

Ellis raised his two hands and left the kitchen. I faced Fei this time. "Did you tell him S?"

"Size of my dick? He did ask, but I said, I\'d let you know first, then he can just ask you if you wanna tell him," Fei grinned.

"No!" I whispered. "Sorcerer."

"Oh, I didn\'t tell him anything about it. But, I guess, he\'ll find out about it soon," Fei said.

"I see. So… Why are you here? Don\'t you have any work to do?"

Fei replied. "I can leave anytime I want. Besides, my people are there to take charge of the work. So, I left and went to Robbie\'s to see you. Oakley was alone today, and he told me that it\'s your day-off, so I brought you these for breakfast."

That was so thoughtful of him, actually. "Thank you so much. I do actually wanna take a rest for the entire day."

Fei clicked his fingers. "We can go to our cabin on top of the mountain."

Because of the rapid change of environment, I suddenly grabbed Fei\'s hand and held it tight. "What are you doing?"

"Finding a way for you to relax?" Fei smiled, and that\'s actually the first time I noticed that he had cute dimples on each side.

"Maybe next time, tell me if we\'re teleporting somewhere else?" I said, with my hands trembling. Fei caressed my hands to keep me relaxed.

"Okay, sure. How about… this?" Fei clicked his fingers and we have transported right away to a rainforest, with those wild animals freely moving everywhere. We were sitting on a rock beside a waterfall.

"Oh, wow…" That\'s all I can say. I think, I\'ve never been to a rainforest. Like, ever.

Looking at the tall trees, hearing birds chirping, feeling the cold water on my feet, smelling the fragrance of the flowers nearby, and, well, drinking my ice-cold coffee on my left hand… I became sentient of everything at that very moment.

On my right hand… Well, Fei is holding it.

"Sometimes, I go here to hone my superpowers," Fei mentioned.

"Like, how?" I asked.

"I don\'t wanna be the one to let go of your hand, but okay, I\'ll show you," Fei stood up and a very strong energy enveloped him. Also, a magic circle with complex symbols and Chinese characters appeared where he is standing. I moved away as he channels the energy he needs.

Then, he laid his hand flat on the level of his chest and a magical hourglass made of colorful lights come into sight. With his other hand, he was as if controlling the sand inside the hourglass to go down really fast.

As I look up in the sky, it\'s beginning to be really hot, as the sweltering sun is in high noon. The clouds were moving really fast and the sun is travelling to the west in a matter of nano-seconds. The sky changes its color too as the dark dominates most of it. Then the moon became visible and so were the twinkling stars. When I checked the hourglass, all of the sand was now at the bottom.

"Oh, my gosh," I whispered.

Then suddenly, Fei turned the hourglass the other way and controlled the speed of the sand to drop down really fast. I stared at the sky again and the moon is moving east as if everything is going backwards. The clouds are returning and the sky is beginning to light up again with the scorching sun, which in a few minutes, will reach high noon. It was like watching a time-lapse video!

After that, the energy and the magic circle vanished. Fei walked towards me and grinned. "There you go."

"What just happened?" I asked, astonished by what I saw.

"That\'s one of the superpowers from my mother\'s genes. I sort of fast-forwarded the time and returned it to how we were currently," Fei said.

"That\'s so cool. How about your dad? What did you get from his genes?" I asked.

Fei bit his lower lip really hard, and I noticed that it was bleeding.

"Fei! What are you…" As I spoke, I felt something on my lips. It was terribly painful! And I felt something dropped. I touched it and it was… blood!

"Oh, gosh… This is your dad\'s power?" I can\'t tell what it is but it was some kind of reflection of action done by oneself.

"No, this is," Fei moved closer to me and… locked his lips with mine.
