Hey reader,

So this was the end of lucky unluckiest.

Firstly, I'd like to thank my friends Aiman and Fatima, for being my first ever readers.

I actually came up with this story when I was thirteen and planned out the flow of the story and the end so I didn't change the ending and ended it the way I wanted it to end a few years ago but a little differently.

I named the river 'Kataomoi' because it means "unrequited love/ one sided love" in Japanese. And Logan and Sophia both thought that their feelings weren't returned.

I honestly planned so much for Logan and Sophia but I had to end the story because I faced a writer's block and took a year hiatus and so I kind of lost all the motivation to continue this work and I have no idea why and I do regret it, I still do. But don't worry, Lucky Unluckiest ended, not their stories. The end of this story doesn't limit their possibilities. And I believe if Logan and Sophia ARE meant to be together, they'll meet again. And their story will continue. It will. But not here, not in this one.

What I did was very unfair for Sophia, I know she doesn't deserve an ending like this but she has a whole life ahead, her life hasn't ended. And as I said, I believe if they are really meant to be together, they will find a way to be together.

I didn't let them be together in the end because of Logan. For once, I wanted Logan to actually live his life, to become selfish and choose himself for once. But if they ended up together, it would be too cliché. Like every other story, 2 broken people fixing each other and to be honest, they did fix each other. It's just that, not everyone who loves each other is meant to be together. And I wanted you to know that life goes on with your loved ones or without.

Thank you for giving a chance to this awkward, slow - progressing and sweet type of romance book and I hope you all find love within yourself first. And if you love someone, let them know. Because life is so unpredictable, one moment they are with you and before you know it, they are gone. Don't wait for the right moment. I believe there is no right time; the time will never be in your hands. You just need to seize the opportunity and it could do wonders. May you find the love you crave so bad. ♥
