Alena dispersed her thoughts and ate her food quickly, after they were done eating, Damon asked her to sit in the car and soon they reach the company. Employees in the company was surprised to see them walking in harmony. As soon as they reach his cabin, Damon started working and Alena got busy in handling other works. While they were working peacefully, they both had the same thought that if they had not been in this type of relationship maybe they could have had a normal romantic relationship.

In the afternoon, Alena got up from her seat and saw Damon was still busy when she ordered food for him and left the food with a note on the table. Alena went back home so that she can visit the doctor with mother. Damon noticed that the other side is totally silent and then looked up from his laptop and was shocked to see she was not there. He looked at the time and found it was already past lunch, he got up from his seat and went to the table only to find lunch and a note which said, "I have ordered this according to your preference be sure to eat it and i am going if not i will be late, take care". Damon unknowingly smiled at her sweet gesture and started digging in.

Alena on the other side called her mother directly to the hospital then, they went for the checkup. After they were done, Alena told her mother to wait for a while in the garden as she has to discuss something with the doctor. A nurse walked her to the garden. Alena followed the doctor to his cabin and asked, "May i know the exact problem mother is facing?" The doctor replied, "Sure Mrs. Damon". Alena was still not used to this title but again she couldn't do anything about it. The doctor started explaining, "Its actually a miracle Mrs. Damon that your mother-in-law is alive". Alena was confused by his words so she asked, "What do you mean?"

He continued, "You might not know but she was in coma after hearing about your husband's accident news, we also not know what triggered her brain to cause her this much harm. I am their family doctor but since three years i have been in foreign soil so i don't know much. Its just that Damon was involved in a serious accident and his mother was not in good shape from earlier but after hearing that news, she went in coma but woke up suddenly and now she doesn't remember anything that happened at the time she collapsed in fact she doesn't remember who i am".

Alena was dumbfounded this was so much for her to take in at the moment and Damon had an accident then why didn't he tell her and is it my imagination or this has to do something with the death of Caroline. Alena's thoughts were jumbled, she couldn't think straight anymore and god knows how she reached the garden on her own. Alena saw her mother approaching her and thought "One thing is for sure these events are related and complicated, i will have to look in depth to uncover these but first i need to talk to Damon".
