Alena's Pov

Alright, I might look like a bitch right now but he is totally acting like a sweet husband and I have become the bad guy. How dare he....hah!! I am really furious. Soon I heard footsteps and I slowly sat on the bed. He entered and said, "Why didn't you change your clothes? You might be hungry, let's go downstairs and have dinner". I was speechless, I couldn't refute him or say anything before I could reply he went to the bathroom. I was thinking "Is he pretending to be a good husband but why? Let's just drop it, I don't wanna even think about this guy. I started digging through my cupboards to look for my nightwear when I heard him shouting "Can you pass me my towel, I think I didn't bring one". I replied, "Come out and get yourself I am busy".

He again shouted, "Are you sure you want me to come out in this situation?" I stopped doing what I was doing and searched for his towel. I found it and ran to the bathroom, I hanged it on the handle and went back to my place and said, "You can open the door and take it". I heard the knob turning and his voice came "I thought you would pass me personally but you are no fun". I furiously stomped my foot and turned to shout at him but when I turned my face became red instantly because of the view in front of me. I closed my eyes with both hands and shouted "Hey you stupid man if you have taken your towel then go back, why are you shamelessly showing off your body?"

He replied, "Why I am shameless when I am showing my body to my wife, not to any other person" I don't know why but I was embarrassed and flushed so I just shouted, "Go back".

Outside of the room, Damon's mother was very pleased with their bickering, she was happy now that his son's ship is sailing. She happily went downstairs and asked the maid to bring the heat the food and sat happily in the dining area.

After taking showers turn by turn we came downstairs and I was pleased with simple food because I don't like heavy eating at night. My mother-in-law pulled a chair and said gently "Come sit dear". I sat and thanked her. We were having soup for dinner and some sugar-free cookies. After a long silence, Damon spoke "Wifey, pass me a cookie" and smiled. I looked at him and knew he was just trying to piss me off but I didn't get angry, I just pass him the whole plate so that he won't ask again and he chuckled at my behavior. After dinner, I helped my mother-in-law with her medicines and asked her to walk a little as it is good for her body. We went to the garden and strolled for about half an hour and then I asked one of the maid to sent her to sleep.

And now I am alone staring at the wide sky and the beautiful half-moon which is illuminating its brightness to wherever it can reach.
