And the hell it started raining along with the wind which made me shiver but I was standing a little scared and observing the man who was walking in the rain looking dashing. I must say if anyone can beat Damon then this was the man. Rains were hitting my whole body mercilessly but I stood there unmoved because I wanted to see his face who knew the past of this body.

He stood before me, took off his coat, and covered our head with that. I was shocked not because of fear but because of the sudden closeness and the familiar scent. I sniffed again and could feel my body was not rejecting this proximity which made me believe that the truth not far.

He didn't give me a chance to speak and due to our height differences, I couldn't clearly see his face so I was still in the dilemma of what to do. I saw him using his phone but only for a few seconds and soon a big black car and by the looks of it I can imagine it must have cost him a fortune and it also looked very new. There was silence in the car and couldn't muster my strength to look him in the eye so I kept looking down. He dropped the towel on my head and said "Dry your head". And soon the heaters were on, I could feel the warmth not sure if it was from the car or from the person sitting beside me.

After I was done I didn't know where to put the towel so I was holding it when he took it from me placed it behind. He finally spoke, "Ummm it's too early to catch on our talk and the night is getting darker so let's do that some other time and now tell me where you live so that I can drop you".

He was looking at him expecting an answer and I was lost for words because I didn't want to go to that demon's place so I was thinking hard to say something when he spoke again "If you don't wanna go then you can go to my place". I seriously hooked my head and said, "Its enough already, and no Thankyou I have a place, I will tell you right away". I told him the address and soon we reached the place. The car stopped and I was ready to leave when he spoke: "If you don't mind can you share your number because your old one is unavailable so that we can discuss the past years after you left shanghai".

I asked for his phone and added my number and then bowed and said my thanks. He covers my head with the coat again and said: "You can keep as it is raining outside and we are still far from the entrance and one more thing drink some hot ginger tea so that you don't catch a fever".

I nodded and again thanked him and hurriedly left.

In The Car

"I never thought after these years you will still be the same and this time I won't let you leave me". He then dialed a number and said "Help him establish in this country because I won't leave this place again also tell mother that I have found her".

Alena's pov

Who was he? I was feeling familiar yet strange around him, I guess this body must be an acquaintance of him. I reached the door and pressed the bell. The door opened and Cathy was surprised to see me there. I hesitantly said, "If you don't mind can I stay for the night?"

She took my hand and dragged me inside happily and said "Are you stupid you are wet all overcome take a shower change into something then talk, ok". I nodded and went where she pointed, I took a quick shower and changed into her shorts and tees.

I came down and saw she was in the kitchen, soon she came with a bowl of hot noodles. I looked at her and she said, "I thought you might be hungry seeing your condition so dig in first". I thanked her and started eating because I was really hungry. After I finished, I got up to wash the dishes but she stopped me and took the bowl to the kitchen and came back. She looked at me and said, "Now I am all ears" which meant she wanted me to explain everything.

In The Mansion

Damon was angrily watching the video for god knows how many times. He closed the desktop heavily and spoke "Very good dear wife, you have grown a wing and now you are aiming to fly but let's see if you can fly". He took the car keys and left. Her mother saw him leaving and wanted to ask but thought that he must be going for her wife so she didn't bother and went to sleep.
