After reaching the door I didn't get time to calculate anything and suddenly someone hugged me.

From the touch, I felt that she must be this demon's mother. After a long hug, she released me and asked "How have you been these years?

Cath felt like her mother has returned to her but soon she shook away the thoughts and focussed she is his mother and not mine.

She replied politely "I am fine, how are you feeling madam?

But after seeing his mother this close she couldn't help but feel nostalgic, it was really odd for her but she couldn't ignore the inner vibes that she was getting. She could feel that this body is quite familiar with this old lady but what is their exact relationship?

"I need to find it soon" she muttered under her breath.

The old lady replied "Aiyoo! Have you lost your memory that you are calling me madam I am your mother call me that ok " she was smiling while saying all these, and I couldn't pretend anymore?

So nodded and she let us inside. The house was huge with all kinds of foreign things which must have cost him a fortune, it was triple the size from our house so I can only widen my eyes in astonishment.

Seeing her astonished look Damon couldn't help but chuckle at her behavior. He then regains his usual self and sat on the large sofa while his mother kept talking to me.

All of a sudden I was shocked by what she called me, I couldn't believe I could still find about the owner of this body.

She called me "Caroline" no she called this body owner's name so they had a relationship in the past.

I was shocked but I had to hold it in so I slowly turned towards that demon but he seemed to be confused as well so I could only conclude that he might be the victim as well.

I glanced at him and he was also looking at him then his mother came and shooked me "What's wrong don't you remember your own name?

I apologetically nodded and "Yes mother".

She smiled lovingly and said, "You might be hungry, let's eat".

After hearing her say mother Damon couldn't help but like her a little. It seemed very normal from her mouth as they knew each other from way before.

"But the thing is why my mother called her Caroline and she wasn't acting like a patient"

She was rather a normal mother-in-law. This is starting to get confusing, I will have to deal with this once I get time.

We were seated along with a long dining table, her mother sat at the master chair and sat beside her on each side of her.

She said "Caroline its all your favorite dear, so dig in while it's hot".

Before I could take a bite, I could someone fuming in jealousy and I paused for a while. But her mother assured me "Why did you stop, eat more" and then she looked at his son and said, "stop being stingy you always liked the same food as her then why are you making faces".

But for Damon, it was completely shocking as didn't get a single thing her mother was saying still he let go of all things and picked up his spoon and started eating.

After the dinner the old lady could see, her daughter-in-law was really tired so she told her to get some rest. Alena turned but looked in the direction of Damon who was leisurely sitting on the sofa and watching television.

Damon understands her gaze and stood from his seat and said: "Mom I am also tired so I am getting upstairs and you should also rest early and don't forget to take your medicines".

Her mother replied "Yes yes young people need more rest, I will also go sleep. Good night dear".

We nodded and I followed him to a room which looked kind of master bedroom and it consists of everything, it looked like a miniature version of this villa.
