Chapter 21 - CROSSED PATHS
DAMON'S PROV
I woke up and saw my driver and my mother sitting beside me my mother eyes were wet she must have cried the whole time my driver called the doctor and the said " finally you are awake you were in coma from two days " I was shocked that my life was going so smoothly I don't know how I ended like this then the doctor advised us to change the place so that I can adjust to my surroundings and start a new and fresh life. I was not ready because there was still so much work for me but seeing my mother in such a horrible state of crying I agreed to them and told them to book a flight of two days later.
EVE'S PROV
After seeing my condition the mother of this body decided to change my face so that noone can recognize me and I can leave freely without any fear of any kind of danger. I didn't wanted that but had to agree because now she was my mother so we decided to change everything of mine related to the past and make everything of mine new.
After a while my mother was done with the procedures and I was left alone in the operation theater. I was scared of my new life I was having nobody except for this mother of mine I was scared that how we will survive alone. This world is filled with harsh people and we don't have any relatives. But seeing my mother calm face I don't know how I got the courage to achieve everything I want and I can.
After sometime the doctor came and said " say goodbye to your old self and get ready to live a new chapter of your life " with this I nodded and agreed to this and slowly closed my eyes and when I woke up there was darkness all over the room I got scared and shouted then my mother held my hand and said " don't worry baby we are here just wait for 2 seconds" with this the doctor slowly uncovered my face and my mother looked at me with awe then they gave me a mirror to look at.
When I saw in the mirror I was shocked I looked so beautiful and innocent I look way more younger than I actually was. Then I heard my mother saying " let's begin our journey put on your sword and shield we have to deal with this world ".
All the arrangements were to be done in two days so that we can leave without any difficulty. My mother assigned a manager for me so that we can rely on him and my whole identity was changed. The doctor helped us very much we thanked him and left for packing. We reached home and momma said "do not pack anything let's leave behind our past and everything single entity that is connected to our past and never turn back".
