Alena started walking alone inside the banquet and Damon caught up to her before she could enter inside and forced her hands in his hands. While gritting his teeth, he spoke "Do you want to enter without me? Huh? Alena replied with a Tsk but still held his hand because she was a complete stranger here and without him beside her, she might end up in a trouble. She looked around and it was a grand hall with all sorts of beautiful decorations, she could see just how much has flowed like a river to make these arrangements. They stood behind a table and soon a piano was heard, the lights were dimmed and a spotlight was directed on the stairs which was in the center of the hall and a couple walked hand in hand from the stairs. They were looking lovely, the man had gentle eyes and one could say he had only eyes for the woman beside her and the same was for the woman. They looked so perfectly matched. For some reason Alena felt sad, in her last life the only thing she ever wanted was love and same goes for the woman whom she is playing right now. The only thing that connected them was that they both were betrayed by the person they loved the most.

Damon had his gaze fixed on Alena and he could see each and every expression of Alena even when her expression changed after the couple entered he could see pain in her eyes as if she was longing for something. He wanted to know just what has she been through in life to make those expressions.
