Love Is So Sweet

Chapter 14 - The real Jun

After the whole incident in the park, Jun accompanied Lisa back to her apartment. The two of them took a cab since Lisa couldn\'t walk home as she was still a bit rattled. Once they reached the entrance to the building of her apartment, Jun told Lisa that if she needed help with anything she should call him. Lisa simply nodded without saying anything as she exited the cab. Jun watched Lisa walking slowly towards the entrance door, she then looked back and shouted at Jun. "Thank you for everything!"

After saying that she quickly entered the building. Once Lisa\'s silhouette was no longer in sight, Jun told the cab driver the address to his place. The cab driver hearing where Jun wanted to go was surprised. If the young man was living in that place then why was he taking a cab? People who could afford to live there usually have cars.

Well, the cab driver didn\'t have the right to question the young man and headed to the heavenly diamond hotel.

...

Upon entering the luxurious five-star hotel, the doorman greeted him. "Mr. Tang I hope you had a nice day today."

Jun smiled at the doorman before answering. "It was the same as any other day. So how are the kids?"

"Still, my cute little princesses." The doorman answered with a smile. He liked Jun, since, within all the people who live in this hotel, Jun was the only one who treated him as if they were at the same level.

"You better enjoy it now, once they grow up they won\'t be as cute as before." Jun smiled slyly as he headed towards the elevator.

Jun headed straight to the highest floor since he lived at the penthouse of this luxurious hotel. Once he entered his place, Jun tossed aside the blazer he was wearing and messed his prim and proper hair giving him a more wild look. The ever-smiling Jun was now frowning. He turned on the lights and what was revealed was a whole floor that looked like it was half luxurious room and half gym.

"Oh, freaking sh*t what the f*ck was with today!" Jun took off his loafers and approached the punching bag hanging at the side and started punching it. After he was able to cool down he sat on the sofa and turned on the T.V.

"This was the sh*tiest day ever, I almost blew my cool and proper act. What\'s with that timing, why did a pervert like that need to appear near the end?..." Jun sighed as he remembered the events that transpired today.

"Still... It wasn\'t all that sh*tty." A memory of Lisa getting excited as she wrote down her notebook flashed in Jun\'s mind.

"She really is interesting... So different from a fake like me." Jun mumbled to himself as he remembered every expression Lisa showed today. \'She really is like an open book... Can one really live a life without wearing any masks? Or is she the same as them... The same as me...\' When Jun remembered them, he found himself irritated again so he stood up and started kicking the punching bag.

...

While he was pounding at the punching bag, his phone started ringing. Jun took a look at who was calling. When he saw the caller id, he couldn\'t help but roll his eyes. He answered the call, "what do you want?"

"Good day to you too big brother."

"I\'m going to ask you one more time, what do you want Wei?" Jun was practically growling now.

"Oh, come on now big brother, can\'t a little bro simply call his big bro to see how he\'s doing?"

"I\'m doing fine, now that you know I\'m going to hang up." Jun was really about to hang up.

"Wait! Come on big bro, I actually wanted to ask you something."

"You should\'ve just said so, why bother beating around the bush? So what do you want to know?"

"Is it true that you help the cops catch a drug addict?"

"How did you know? Do you still have some men planted in the police department."

"Oh big bro, I don\'t need to have to hear from those people to find out what you did today. You\'re all over the internet."

Hearing what Tang Wei said made Jun click his tongue. \'This is why I didn\'t really want to do anything to that pervert. Tsk, it\'s all because of that face she made.\' Jun couldn\'t help but remember the fear in Lisa\'s face which prompted him to do something.

"Fine, so is that it? Is that all you wanted to ask?"

"Big bro, are you still unwilling to come back here? With what happened today you can use this to convince, father to-" Before Wei could finish what he was going to say Jun shouted at him.

"SHUT UP! I will never return! I\'m sure he doesn\'t want me to return either! Not only him, but that sh*tty guy won\'t want me back either!" Wei went silent and sighed.

"I see... I\'m sorry for bringing it up big bro. I\'ll help you squash the story of you beating up a drug addict. By tomorrow morning all the videos about it will disappear. Take that as my way of apologizing."

"... Thanks Wei..."

"Ummm, Big bro, always remember I\'m here for you... Also Mom... Nevermind. Be well big bro." Wei then ended the call.

After that call, Jun no longer felt like hitting the punching bag. He decided to go to bed and sleep. But before he was able to sleep somebody sent him a message. "Thank you for today, I wasn\'t able to say this a while ago since I was embarrassed. So, I can only tell you through text, I wanted to say, you don\'t need to call me Ms. Lisa, from now on just call me Lisa."

When Jun read this message all the dark emotions he was having disappeared like a puff of smoke as he chuckled. He then sent Lisa a message.

"You\'re welcome, Lisa"
