I Was Admitted To The Villain School Chapter 42.1

The hadal ogre led Lin Xinghe to a palace guesthouse.

Jiuge and Xiao Xue Ji followed behind.

Along the way, Lin Xinghe chatted with the hadal ogre.

She even learned that the hadal ogre\'s name was Wendy.

"Your name in Barbarosian is pronounced ##%."

Wendy seemed delighted, repeating it, then a new sentence: "#%#%#@#%#."

Lin Xinghe said with a straight face, "Oh, my! You are really talented in languages! You speak Barbarosian very well, #%%@#%#%, this is a compliment for your intelligence."

Wendy repeated it perfectly.

Lin Xinghe praised Wendy sincerely again.

Wendy warmly sent Lin Xinghe to the door of the guesthouse and said to her, "His Royal Highness Barbaros Sea King, you can call me at any time if you need anything."

The palace door closed.

Jiuge, who had been silent the whole time, asked Lin Xinghe, "Do you really understand the language of the South Seas?"

Lin Xinghe said confidently: "Of course I don\'t understand. I\'m just an ordinary mortal. I have to rely on fantasy potions to go into the sea. How can I know any South Seas language?"

Lin Xinghe continued, "The essence of nonsense is to believe that you are right. No matter whether you have something or not, you have to say it. Whether it is right or not, I am right when you believe me!"

Jiuge pondered and concluded,  "...I admire that.”

Lin Xinghe told him, "Take a rest, we will go out for a walk later and chat with them to integrate ourselves. We need the information. I’ll need you to continue to be a Sea Man."

Jiuge asked,  "...Do I need to speak?"

Lin Xinghe said, "No, just do some simple motions. Or you can do stunts that surprise them and show off your skills."

Jiuge: "...I can make my hair line up like “一” and “人” for a while..."*

Lin Xinghe happily decided, "Okay, this one’s good!"

Next, Lin Xinghe took the toolpeople Jiu Ge and Xiao Xue Ji to make a grand entrance into the hadal ogre palace. Wendy greeted them warmly and introduced them to every hadal ogre they met on the way. The sea king from Barbaros was the guest of honor.

Although Lin Xinghe was petite, she had the Jiuge-brand “Super Fierce Dog Head” as well as the advantage in height, coupled with her South Seas exotic culture and friendly gifts of South Seas specialties—— the dog head woven by Jiuge\'s hair quickly captured the hearts of the hadal ogres.

Under the subtle manipulations of Lin Xinghe, the hadal ogres revealed, "Our hadal ogre tribe does not have as long a history as Barbaros. A hundred years ago, all of the creatures on the sea floor were stronger than us. Later, our great chief, Anthony I, under the guidance of the gods, became stronger and gradually established the current tribe. Later, our founder Anthony I met Queen Lilith, and our tribe became more and more prosperous... …”

Lin Xinghe asked, "The gods’ guidance? Oh, my friend, is it like Anubis of Barbaros?"

The hadal ogres said proudly, "No, Anthony I had an epiphany while on an adventure, which was a gift from the gods."

"What kind of epiphany?"

The hadal ogre replied, "This is the secret of our tribe and cannot be told to outsiders."

Lin Xinghe could roughly guess what the secret was after interrogating the captain and Steward Lin about the alpine rimerose.

According to what the hadal ogres said, the previous hadal ogres were the weakest creatures until Anthony I rescued the ghost ship, devoured the souls of some cruise employees, and gained powerful strength. But the hadal ogres couldn’t leave the ocean, and their strength would be weakened if they left the ocean, so they sent the cruise as a fresh human soul delivery vessel.

Because of this, the tribe of hadal ogres gradually became stronger.

Lin Xinghe didn\'t ask any more questions, and she brought up Princess Mary Su of Barbaros, mentioning her potential marriage into the hadal ogre tribe. She showed a monarch’s worry about her daughter\'s future partner.

When the princess married into a tribe, the only person who she could marry was the chief.

Unexpectedly, when the hadal ogres heard this, their expressions turned dark, clearly signaling that they did not agree to this betrothal.

Lin Xinghe was good at observation, so she asked unhappily, "The princess of Barbaros is beautiful and powerful, isn\'t she worthy of your chief?"

"Of course, it\'s just a rule left by our hadal ogres since ancient times, the chief must marry a human."

Lin Xinghe asked, "Why?"

"Our tribes’ female chiefs were all human."

Lin Xinghe asked again, "But when I looked at the sculptures in your palace, they don\'t look like humans..."

"After humans marry our chiefs, they will be turned, and the children born with the turned humans will have stronger powers."

Lin Xinghe retorted, "How do you know that the children born with the princess of Barbaros will not be stronger?"

The hadal ogres couldn\'t answer her.

Lin Xinghe carefully stated, "But I think your chief seems to be very interested in the princess of Barbaros..."

Their faces turned dark again.

Lin Xinghe continued, "But you don\'t seem to be willing. If you can convince me of why not, I can consider not marrying the princess in..."

One of the hadal ogres said, "Our chief is not gentle enough, he’s short-tempered and capricious."

"Yes, the chief’s temper is becoming more and more elusive."
