Damien moaned in pain as he sat up. He was rubbing his shoulder before stretching. "Fuck that hurts, but I\'ll be fine. Zel, these are different from the usual ones me and Kassy encounter"

Kassandra had just jumped on one of the monsters before it could reach one of the guests and slammed it on the floor. Her arm turned grayish with a horrifying structure but at the slight shake of her wrists, it slowly returned to its normal form. Her dress had already ripped in the middle and so she made a scoff before stomping on the head of the monster to keep it down.

"Yeah these are more annoying" Kassandra angrily states.

Amias had already done his job of setting up an array around him and the guests to keep the poison gas at bay. Meanwhile, Azazel had been protecting him from the monsters that had been targeting Amias.

"Then we should be more careful. ARDA WHY ARE THE GUESTS STILL HERE?!?"

"SOMEONE PLACED A SEAL ON THE DOORS, I\'M STILL TRYING TO REMOVE IT"

"Fuck" Azazel glanced at Luciel who had been looking in a certain direction. He knew Luciel already found the source of the array.

"Damien, give me back up. Kassandra keeps the guests safe until Arda can break the seal. Azazel, make sure Amias keeps the array up"

All of them nodded and quickly went to work. Amias at the moment suddenly remembered Yohann and felt his chest tighten because this situation was similar to that of the past.

"Calm down Amy, just keep the array up and we\'ll be safe. We\'re all here." Azazel reassures him before placing his focus back onto defending Amias.

Luciel manifested his powers to form a pattern over the area where the monsters were crawling out of and to his surprise, the seals were all over the place and stacked with one another. It seems like they had multiple inside personnel set this up while everyone was distracted by the dance.

"This damn angel..." He muttered angrily before breaking one of the seals of the array.

"Breaking this will take hours. Change of plans, I\'ll help Arda break the seals on the door." As he was speaking a monster tried to attack him and he sent it flying with his powers.

It was a little hard to see with only light from outside illuminating the hall through its windows. Gideon was terrified of the situation because he realized that he had been alone. He couldn\'t see Stephen and the other people would push him away due to panic. There were Demons and Angels already arguing with one another.

"YOU ANGELS PLANNED THIS DIDN\'T YOU?!" The demons roared at the angels and the latter refuted by arguing back "HOW DARE YOU BLAME US?! SOME OF OUR PEOPLE DIED, DO YOU THINK WE ALSO WANT THIS?!?!"

That being said, being a half-and-half made Gideon out of place. The room was already chaotic with the monsters just randomly spawning in. Now adding to that are the Races fighting with each other.

"ENOUGH" Arda stomped her feet and an invisible power forced the two groups that were going neck and neck to one another to get separated.

Luciel rushed through the group like they weren\'t there and went straight to Arda\'s side to help her with the door. In a short while, a loud thud could be heard. It seems like Luciel punched the wall next to the door.

This wasn\'t good, Gideon and everyone else was locked in as Luciel and Arda tries to free them. With each passing second, the body count of both the guests who turned into soldiers, as well as monsters, increased. Gideon felt his throat run dry with the bloodshed in front of him and he tries to retreat into one of the more quiet spaces of the hall to avoid being pushed to the front.

To his dismay, he wasn\'t alone.

A monster had spawned there. Compared to those who were getting in via the main portal, this one was different since it was quiet. Gideon had not noticed it until he suddenly felt something wet grab his ankle. He fell on his back and hit his head lightly the moment the monster pulled his foot.

"ow! huh- AH!" The Disoriented Gideon saw the horror before him and the creature retracted his long tongue. The Saliva from the tongue felt like scalding hot water and that alone helped Gideon regain his wits due to the excruciating pain.

"HELP ME! ANYONE PLEASE!" A Figure quickly dashed into his view and had sliced off the monster\'s tongue swiftly.

The monster wailed and due to the noises of Gideon\'s panicked screaming as well as the monster\'s the Guests became more frightened. There were several monsters crawling quietly in the darkness and pouncing on them just like Gideon\'s experience.

Kaiden went to Gideon\'s side and immediately tried to heal up the injured ankle but the monster tried to pounce on them. Kaiden\'s holy power was redirected to the monster by mistake and his arm got scratched. The monster began to seize up and Kaiden took this opportunity to carry Gideon into one of the hidden corridors to retreat.

Azazel noticed the situation on the side earlier. He was about to rush in when Kaiden jumped in himself and saved Gideon. His focus went to the monster that was seizing up. The Monster stopped moving and collapsed on the ground like it was a blob of gelatin. Soon something light peeked through the piles of black substance but a certain color caught his eyes.

He didn\'t bother stabbing the monster that was attacking him and instead kicked it away before rushing to the area.

"What is it Zel?" Damien asked when he noticed Azazel with a concerning expression rushing over to one of the corpses of the monsters.

Azazel pushed away the black substance to see if he wasn\'t imagining things. It was a person, and it wasn\'t just any person. He couldn\'t form any words as his face was just pure shock as his breathing sped up.

It was Yohann.

Azazel moved away so that Damien could see what he was looking at. Damien dropped his weapons and staggered a little bit in shock.

"KASSANDRA, EVERYONE DON\'T KILL ANY OF THE CREATURES"

"What?" Kassandra looks up at Damien, confused, but saw his expression and followed his sight. Her surroundings suddenly quieted down, it was a familiar sleeping face to her.

"YOHANN!"

"Yohann?" Amias was taken aback by the sudden call of that name that he nearly slipped up.

Another monster tried to gang up on Amias and Damien simply pushed them back instead of killing them. Kassandra wanted to rush to her brother\'s body but there were still monsters that were trying to kill her.

"Kassy, focus on the task first!" Damien shouts at her and to which she pursed her lips and helped him push away the monsters while others were trying their best to do so as well but they were dying more quickly since they can\'t attack back.

"Azazel! Is he alive?!" Kassandra desperately asks and the entire time Azazel had been checking everything on Yohann.

"Yes! He\'s just unconscious"

Luciel finally took off half of the seals and left the rest up for Arda to tackle with. He quickly rushes to Damien\'s side instead of Azazel\'s and used his powers to capture a few of the monsters that were closing into the guests.

"At best try to capture them. But if it\'s unavoidable, kill it!" Luciel ordered his servants and they all went into work once more.

Amias was just staring at Azazel who was wrapping Yohan up in his coat. He immediately carries Yohann over to Amias\' side since it\'s the safest location. With this, Amias had a better look at him. He was thinner and he had chapped lips. His mouth was bleeding a little and Azazel explained that he got his tongue cut off earlier. This drew the conclusion that even in their monstrous form, their original bodies are affected.

"But he\'ll be alright right?"

"We\'ll see after"

Azazel only frowned since there were some things definitely wrong with Yohann right now. But he could only thank Kaiden for his accidental attack on him.

"The best right now is that he\'s here, safe and sound."

He could only hope those two are alright since he saw Kaiden slip into his hideaways. Azazel knew of the pathways but it was one of Kaiden\'s secrets he kept for him. They can handle it here anyways. But there was also something amiss with the Prince.

"Did you notice something with Kaiden?"

"I think so... I\'m not sure" Amias admits.

Kaiden stumbled a little as he ran down the hallway carrying Gideon. Gideon felt Kaiden was burning up a little and he already healed himself up a little bit to make his ankle manageable. To his surprise, Kaiden suddenly stopped and almost dropped him. Gideon was surprised and he immediately got off Kaiden and supported him till they reached the small hideout Kaiden had. Kaiden flicked his wrists as Gideon helped him sit down by the cushions.

"Kaiden are you alright? You\'re burning up..." Gideon at first thought it was the wound on Kaiden\'s arm that caused this reaction. But suddenly Kaiden tried to lean in and kiss him.

"?!?" Gideon suddenly moves away from Kaiden\'s face.

In the realization of his actions, Kaiden suddenly pushes Gideon away.

"I didn\'t know what came over me! I didn\'t mean to..." Kaiden\'s breath hitched and he winced in pain.

Gideon realized what was happening. Maybe it was just because of small context clues but this was a scene in the original story.. This part involved our protagonist getting put under a very specific spell and it was broken by one of the Female Leads.
