I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 425: First Emperor of Kkeun

Seoule doesn't look like a bunker at all. This made Elliot and the others wonder how much the Kkeuners have prepared for an attack like this.

The underground city was located in a gigantic hall built under he soul of the underground realm. Seungju said that the soil wasn't too hard that they easily dug through it and built this bunker in only a year.

Of course, the Eastern countries were advanced in technology. They didn't have to dig everything manually. Instead, they have machines that were capable enough to dig for them.

There were also machines that could help them with the metal frame of the bunker and machines to cement everything together. The East was much advanced and they have used every single one of their resources properly.

It was then that Elliot was reminded on how different the two sides of the world were. One relied heavily on magic, and the other was with technology. Of course, the East still uses magic like how Licht was using his undead soldiers, but it wasn't like it was his only weapon.

He still had the airships and the tanks that roamed the land and skies. Those vehicles were capable of roaming by themselves without any humans inside.

That was why Licht and DuDu were very dangerous people.

Looking around the city, it didn't look as though these people had just ran away from a horde of zombies. Everything was calm and the streets hustled like it was just any other day in their lives.

"We have rehearsed the evacuation plan a lot of times," Seungju said. "By the sixth time, we got everything done. What's built upstairs was replicated here, so everyone can have their own house and they won't confuse their positions."

"That's really amazing," Elliot said. "Kkeuners are very disciplined people. Avancia could never do something like this."

"Tell me about it," the other Avancians said with a sigh.

The group chuckled at each other and continued their way to Emperor Kang. His house was located exactly at the replicated streets on the city at the top. In front of it was the replicated house of the one they stayed at.

Perhaps it was because they needed to live and they were desperate that could live as organized as this. The emperor lived in a house the same size as the others, and no one ever thought of him any different from other emperors.

All their citizens were understanding of their situation, and no one ever dared to resist what the emperor ordered. They trusted Emperor Kang with all their hearts. After all, he was the one who found this save haven for them.

"Okay, we're here," Seungju announced. "I'll be right back after your talk. I still have to report to the generals on what to do next."

"Okay," Lance said with a smile. They watched the man leave while waving at them. While he was hoping away, his wavy medium-length cherry pink hair bounced. The top part of his hair was tied behind his head while the rest flowed along.

"That man is quite peculiar," Lance chuckled. "Let's go inside."

When Seungju was out of sight, they entered the house of the emperor. The guards let them inside and a maid led them to wher Emperor Kang was located.

"Sir, they are here," the maid announced. She entered a room that seemed to look like a conference room.

The walls were cemented and painted with dirty white. It was clean and was decorated with different picture frames, and wallpaper.

"Finally," Emperor Kang said with a sigh of relief. "How bad was it out there?"

"The one who created this realm is here, just among us. Or maybe they're watching from above," Lance said without hesitation. "When we were battling the undead soldiers, they suddenly turned to dust and was sucked out of this realm through the tree we got in."

The emperor looked baffled, "This placeā€¦ is another realm?"

"Manmade realm, yes," Lance said. "This was made by a very powerful person. And if we can make contact with that person, maybe we can have an upper hand at battling the evil emperors."

"But how will we find who the person that made this realm is?" Emperor Kang muttered. "I don't think we can find them that easily."

"We have a clue," Connor and Kusa chorused, both stepping forward.

"We saw a large swan hovering in the skies, seemingly observing us," Connor reported. "When we tried to get a closer look at it, we couldn't get past through a barrier."

"A barrier?" Emperor Kang asked. "There's a barrier above us? But we tried exploring it a while ago. It was endless skies."

"How long did you think you went?" Connor asked.

The emperor thought for a moment. It took him a while before he answered, "About a thousand meters."

"That's the exact length we traveled," Connor whispered. "How come? We thought that this realm is enclosed with a dome."

The assistant emperor shook her head, "My name is Cha Jimin and I can say that that's not possible. I am one of the generals who explored this realm. We have explored the lands, the skies, and even the seas. There's no end to it."

"Indeed," Emperor Kang added. "We thought that this was just another part of the world. Maybe even west from the West. Everything in here seemed like what you could see in Terra. Trees, animals, plants, even the soil. That's why we couldn't have thought that this was another realm."

"But now you do," Lance said. "What we need to do now is figure out who the creator is. They also blocked the entrance, so it will be no use if we just stay here and do that. Where is Seungju? Maybe he can help us."

"Seungju?" Emperor Kang asked. "Why do you know that name?"

"He said he was the one who sent you to help us deal with the undead soldiers," Lance said. While he was talking, he was slowly doubting himself. "H-He's the one who could have a huge attack with great damage, but will faint after."

"Seungju was a historical figure in our history," Jimin said. "He's the hero who saves the nation from falling apart, thousands of years ago."

"Impossible," Lance gasped. "Kaminari knew him. Right, Kaminari?"

The Lighting Master had a bubble appeared around his head. He looked like he was in a trance in a moment, and when the bubble popped, it was like he was wide awake.

"Oh, my lord. I don't know who Seungju is," Kaminari gasped. "He implanted memories inside my head and then he removed them just now."

"What did he look like?" Emperor Kang asked. "Was it true that he had long pink hair that traveled to the ground? And that his clothes were traditional and pink that with cherry blossom embroidered in it?"

"No, and no," Lance said. "In fact, he looked like a Westerner. His hair was medium in length and he tied a part of it behind his head. But it was pink. He wore a pink sweatshirt and black jeans paired by your wooden traditional shoes."

Emperor Kang dropped to his seat, "That is Seungju. The first emperor of Kkeun, Kang Seungju."
