I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 351: Soul Recovery

The Armageddon grinned and fixated its gaze at the stunned Zeus. It shot itself towards the man in a blink of an eye, not letting anyone to react on time.

Just when it thought it caught the man off guard, Zeus vanished from his spot. The Armageddon stopped and was stunned after what happed. It looked around and widened its eyes when it felt Zeus above it.

"This piece of trash!"

Like lightning, Zeus struck down and bashed its hammer into the head of the beast. Electric current exploded from the impact, making the Armageddon screech in pain.

Haley swung her arm that was currently a tree, crashing it into the Armageddon and growing vines from it. The vines were thick and sturdy, wrapping itself around the Armageddon's limbs. The same flowers from earlier bloomed from the vines. They all exploded, making the Armageddon scream as the smoke smoked around it.

"Did you kill it?" Miria asked, sitting on Haley's shoulder. "What kind of beast is this? I feel like we could have an easier time fighting the Sins against this."

"Just because I'm in this form, you can just treat me like a giant pet. And the Sins weren't at their full power," Haley said. "Before they could fully resurrect, something sucked their power out. They were left with less than a quarter of their power."

"Was it Malice?" Miria asked. "Or the Oracion Alma?"

"The Knights already cleared the cult," Haley replied. "And the Armageddon isn't moving. Is it dead?"

Miria looked at the smoke and narrowed her eyes. "No. But it seems to be trembling."

Another screech sounded from the Armageddon. The Crusaders looked at each other with worried eyes. It took several blows from them, blows that weren't easy to deal with, yet it was still standing.

The power of the Vassals were something to be worried about after all. They were thinking that Malice was the only threat from Hell, turns out they have to deal with twelve more people like her.

"It's still alive," Haley said. "But wait."

In a blink of an eye, a black fire spread from the tree and into Haley's arms. The fire ran up to her wooden body, burning it fully.

Miria leaped from Haley and slashed her sword, creating a large shock to try and clear the fire but it was all in vain. The fire burned and strongly.

"Haley!" Miria yelled in panick.

The other Crusader was silent. They watched as the giant form of Haley brun brightly with the black flames. Haley wasn't screaming, nor did she looked in panick. She just stopped moving with her eyes losing its glow.

"Haley!" Miria yelled again. "Haley answer me!"

The flames burned brighter, exploding into a blinding black light before dying down completely. Miria's eyes widened, seeing the giant form became charred. Only the skeleton-looking frame of the giant was left.

"No!" Platt yelled from the ground. He groaned and lit his legs aflame, making him fly and hover right beside Miria. "This is impossible! How could she easily die like that."

"She's not dead yet!" Zeus yelled from the other side. He was fighting with the Armageddon, trying to hold it in place while still being stuck in the vines. "Our forms are still active. Her time magic is still on."

"You're right," Miria said. "Haley, this isn't funny!"

The body of Haley's giant form shook, making Miria and Platt back away. The arms from the giant were suddenly detached from its body. The giant continued shaking until a small orb of roots came out of its chest.

The orbs ripped into pieces, revealing Haley with a fairy form. Her ears were now pointed, and she had a pair of butterfly wings on her back. Her body was glistening with golden glitters as her eyes glowed with the same yellow light from her magic.

"I had to take my time changing forms," Haley chuckled.

"You almost gave me a heart attack, did you know that?" Miria laughed in relief.

"Sentiments later, fight first," Platt reminded. He threw himself towards the Armageddon and helped Zeus fighting it.

Soon, the other Crusaders followed and now the Armageddon was surrounded with the glowing beams of light that were the Crusaders. Just like their fight earlier, they were attcking the beast on all sides going at different speeds while surrounding it.

But unlike before, they were now faster and their attacks were flashier. The light they emitted were brighter, their attacks were stronger, and their aura was more terrifying.

It looked like a disco light in a dark room as the Crusaders fought the Armageddon. They were forming a sphere at the rate of their attacks, the Armageddon being the center of that sphere.

"When will we reach that level?" Connor gulped, watching the lights show of the Crusaders. "Can we achieve that level?"

"We're closer there than we think," Lance smiled. "Just trust the process."

"You have to thank me for this majestic display of power," Ed grinned as he wiggled his eyebrows. "If I didn't jinxed it, they wouldn't be doing this right now."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Connor rolled his eyes.

Hope filled their hearts as they saw the Crusaders fight the Armageddon. They really were the legendary Adventurers who takes a short time completing Campaigns. The Legendary Crusaders of Avancia wasn't a force to be reckoned with.

"I see them," Aquarius said to Minos as they ran to where the powerful concentration of heat was.

Frederick was sitting on the ground, while Luck's head was on his lap. He was staring into the void while emitting a massive heat around him.

"Frederick, I'm here now," Aquarius said as he kneeled in front of the two. He waved his hands in the air, forming bubbles that hovered around them. With a shap of his fingers, the bubbles glowed with a soft blue light that made the area around them dim, making the bubbles glow brighter.

"This magic is forbidden," Aquarius said. "I saw this from an ancient underwater temple back when I was almost in completion with my second God title."

Frederick shifted his gaze to Aquarius. His face was still lifeless but there was a small glint of hope in his eyes. Aquarius saw this and gave the guild master a comforting smile.

"Soul Recovery."

The bubbles around them glowed brighter, the soft blue light turned into blinding flames. The bubbles spun around them, floating closer to Luck's body. They seemed to be absorbed by the body, managing their way inside the man, making the area darken.

"I'm trying to find his soul," Luck said. "And where he moved his heart."

Frederick was still unresponsive. But now he looked at Luck who had became less pale after the bubbles were absorbed in his body.

"I…" Aqaurius narrowed his eyes and slammed his palms together. "I see you, Luck. Come back now!"

A beam of blue light emerged from Luck's body. Everyone from the stadium, even the Crusaders and the Armageddon, watched the beam reach up to the sky.

"What in the hell are they doing?!" Zeus groaned. "Now we have to shift the Armageddon's attention back to us."

"But you have to admit, Zeus," Haley said while her eyes glimmered while they watched the light. "It's beautiful."

A second later, the beam vanished. Along with it wast the large hole in Luck's chest.
