I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 336: Find the Leg

In the midst of the war, Connor was using his staff as a means of transportation. He was riding it as he explored throughout the battlefield in hopes to find people to rescue.

Team Aquarius was already sent to the infirmary outside of the coliseum so they could heal while they wait for the return of their commander. As for Aquarius, Minos, Christina, and Cain who followed them, there was still no news.

The blonde boy was focusing his eyes on people he could rescue when he found a girl trapped in a debris. The large chunk of fallen seat smashed his leg, making him lay on the ground lifelessly.

Connor immediately dove to the man and stepped out his staff to kneel in front of him, "Sir, are you okay?"

"My leg got smashed, do you think I'm doing fine?!" the man retorted with a rather screaming tone.

Connor didn't mind it and proceeded to help him. The boy took a few steps back and pointed his sword at the large debris. "Divine Ember!"

His sword lit ablaze, a searing red flames shot from it forming a beam that swallowed the debris whole. The stone rock was engulfed with the fire as the force exerted by Connor pushed it away slowly.

When the debris was out of the way, Connor ran to the man and carried him. He whistled for his staff to come, to which the weapon dashed towards him and he jumped over it. Connor immediately controlled the staff and gained the balance before he flew out of the stadium and into the informary.

"Man down!" Connor yelled as he carried the man into the makeshift hospital. He jumped off his staff and ran inside, searching for an available healer.

"In here!" a woman in white cloak yelled. She was stading behind an empty bed to which Connor placed the man on. The woman immediately leaned to the man, "Sir, can you keep your eyes open?"

"I-I can," the injured man replied. "I am awake and I don't feel like passing out soon."

The woman nodded and glanced at the man's leg and closed her eyes shut after seeing the scene.

"What's the matter?" Connor quirked his brow up. "Is this the first time you've seen such an injury?"

The woman sighed and returned her gaze back at the man, "Sir, do you want to recover your leg to their previous state? Do you use your leg a lot?"

"What kind of question is that?" the man grunted. "I am an Adventurer! Of course, I use my leg a lot. What kind of healer even are you?"

"I am a healer, but I am not a miracle worker," the woman narrowed her eyes and pointed at the man's leg. "I cannot recover amputated limbs, so that's the case. Got any problems?"

Connor and the man looked at his leg at the same time, both gasping after seeing that the man did indeed was missing his leg.

"Oh, holy angels with nine wings!" the man cried. "Madam Healer, I am a Rogue. I need my leg. I'm useless without my leg."

"We will get your leg back," the healer said. She glanced at Connor and raised her eyebrows at him, "May we speak in private?"

"Madam, please," the man interrupted and sat up. He was pulling her clothes, staining the pure white cloak with his dusty and bloody hands. "I need my leg. I cannot make a living without it."

"We will get your leg back as I said," the healer said. It was obvious that she was just holding herself back, trying her best to fight he irritating grunts and words of the man. "Mr. Rescuer? Let's go."

The healer led the way outside of the white cloth that separated the inside "room" and the "hallway". The place really looked like it was a hospital made of white blankets and long sticks.

"Can you recover the leg?" the woman asked Connor instantly. "I cannot recreate another leg for him. My powers couldn't reach that possibilities."

"His leg was crushed by a debris," Connor said. "Do you accept squashed leg?"

"As a matter of fact, I do," the healer said. "Get me that leg and then we will fix him."

"Got it," Connor replied with a wink. He ran outside and whistled for his staff, which immediately took off with him.

The boy went back to the place where he saw the man and there, he saw the mans flattened leg. He took the leg and was about to fly back when he felt a familiar yet terrifying presence behind him. Connor turned back and saw a Sin grinning at him.

It was the Sin of Lust, Mystique. The Sin was looking at Connor seductively, wearing nothing but thin clothing that covered almost nothing. Mystique had a body every woman dreamt of, a slim waist with a robust chest and a plump butt.

Connor gulped as Mystique, who much like Leslie had the size of a human, approached him. The Sin was walking with a sexy motion, hips swaying in an exaggerated way.

"You're evil," Connor said. Mystique didn't say anything, instead kneeled in front of Connor. The boy widened his eyes as the Sin crawled closer to him, slowly closing their distance. "What are you doing?!"

Without a reply, Connor felt Mystique's hands slapped on his waist. He wanted to fight back, but there was an intense aura in the air that made his body tremble as it was paralyzed in a familiar but sinful feeling.

"I have someone I like!" Connor yelled, but still didn't hear any response. "Please stop."

Mystique started patting Connor's pants, getting closer and closer to the middle part. The blonde boy felt like his body was on fire. He could only gulp as Mystique's hands almost reach the part he never wanted anyone except for the priestess to touch.

With a flash of black light, a large cloud-like explosion erupted from in between them. Midnight appeared from the cloud and narrowed his eyes at Mystique. "What are you doing to him?"

Mystique shrugged while raising both hands. There was a pink sphere that formed in the Sin's palms, the sphere spinning with an incredible and alarming speed.

"Be careful. Galaxia and some of the members from our team was swallowed by that sphere and is currently missing" Midnight looked at Connor, scrunching his face after seeing what Connor was holding. "And what the hell is that?"

"It's a leg, can't you see?" Connor rolled his yes. "I need to take this to the infirmary. Can you handle things here. I'll come back immediately."

Midnight smiled and wiggled his eyebrows, "Say no more."

"Thanks," Connor sighed. He whistled to get his staff and leaped on it, flying away while leaving Midnight behind to fight Mystique.

It was a risk that Midnight would take care of a Sin alone, considering it made Galaxia vanish. He was curious as to where it took such a powerful Adventurer like Galaxia to, but he knew Midnight couldn't provide him an answer.

There was an uneasy look in Midnight's face that Connor stopped himself from asking. He knew that the man was Midnight's friend for so long that he might be sensitive in the topic.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Connor got into the infirmary and handed the leg to the healer. The woman was so happy that the leg was still somehow in tact and said that she could work on it.

"I can reattach this leg, so don't worry about your friend," the healer said.

"Oh, I don't know him," was all Connor's words before left to return to Midnight. He rode his staff back inside the stadium and gasped at what he saw.

Mystique was on top of Midnight. The latter was trying to move his hands m, but the Sin's hands were gripping his hair tightly that he couldn't do anything.

"Argh!" Connor yelled. "God Mode! Flames of the Abyssal Ruler!"

Connor's body burst into flames. The fire ran from his body and flowed out like it was an ever flowing sea. Mystique leaped back with hands raised defensively, while the boy's sin turned upside down, burning like wood and turning into a lava-like surface.

"I said stop!" Connor yelled. "Why didn't you stop?!"

"Because that's what I do, baby."

The light from Connor's morph died out instantly after Mystique's reply. He shook his head and tried his best to recuperate from the shock. "What?!"

"What?" Mystique's eyebrow was raised as Connor gasped again.

The boy was shocked after hearing the deep voice of the Sin. It wasn't a voice of a woman that he expected. Connor gulped and raised his sword shakily. "What are you?"

"I have no form," Mystique said. "I manifest based on what you desire your partner to look."

Before Connor could respond, a bright flame ignited beside him. Connor gulped as he felt the intense aura coming from the flames. Something terrifyingly familiar.

"Oh, so that's your type?" the Priestess chuckled in sarcasm. "Okay, then."
