I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 252: You Look Like Him

It was a spurt of a moment's time. Elliot had never felt faster in his life before. He felt his body being pulled in front of him as his legs continued to run towards Jung.

Without brandishing his sword, he leaped up to the man's level and slammed his knee right in the face. Elliot didn't felt anything after the Hasty Aspire boost, even when he knew that the man's body felt like it was metal.

Elliot flipped, following his kneeing with a kick on the jaw, flipping the man on the other side too. He landed on the ground on one knee, his face glaring at the man who landed on his back.

Everyone in the stall was silent, filling the small space with gasps. They were all staring the scenes that unfolded right before their very eyes. A boy who was barely able to pass five feet was able to knock down a man who was almost taller than him by his height.

"You dare raise your hand on a woman?" Elliot snickered as he stood up. Slowly walking over to the man, he saw his guild pin. "From Cosmic Arch guild?"

"Why you little–"

Another man the knocked out one raised his fist and tried to approach Elliot. His fist, however, didn't reach the boy as Kingsley appeared in front of him. He stopped the man's fist with a single finger before he elbowed the other man's whole arm on the ground.

"Wow," Kingsley chuckled. "I came here to enjoy the rumored food and then I see you ruining things. What a load of bullsh*t."

"M-Master Kingsley," the second man cried while the other was still out cold. He knelt on his knees and bowed to Kingsley, his head on the ground as he begged and begged. "Please forgive our insolence. We won't do it again. We were just disappointed that the taste of this restaurant's food was sh*t. The hype was just for show, master."

"Oh?" Kingsley laughed hysterically, kicking the man on his back. "If I happen to enjoy the food here with your vice guild master Janine. And what if Galaxia comes here often too. So, you say we're eating sh*t?"

His words made the other customers, those who didn't pay attention to the fight, spit out their food. The other ones were focused in the few people in the middle of the stall, staring, waiting for how things would play out.

Kingsley leaned in and took their pins one by one. Janine and Susan were right by the doorway, watching him with nonchalant expressions. It looked like they support what Kingsley was doing. Their guild was the top guild in the kingdom. Something like this would stain their name.

"See you in another life," Kingsley said before walking out, the two girls following behind him. "Let's go. I think someone replaced us in the line."

Elliot looked at Jung who was on the floor. She fell to her knees while Ilwoo was consoling her. "Honey, please calm down."

"Everyone!" their helper called out everyone's attention. "We will close up the shop for tonight. We will come back tomorrow and you can find us on East Solaguer by the entrance by the end of the Championship."

Their helper ran outside and seemed to look for someone. Elliot wanted to follow him but he first walked over to the couple. The people eating inside had gone out already, understanding the situation.

"I never expected such an *sshole would still exist," Elliot sighed. "I'm sorry Jung. I don't think my sorry would actually do anything right now but I mean it."

"You do really look like him," Jung whispered. "You look like the man, Mr. Elliot. I don't doubt it anymore."

Elliot paused for a moment. He could only nod and shrug, "Let's let you rest for a moment. Sit here."

Elliot led them to a vacant table. There were leftover food from the people who got out after their assistant's announcement. In fact, every table had leftover food.

"They're here," their assistant came inside the stall with Kinsley, Janine, and Susan behind him. The three looked confused as to why they were inside the stall when it was already closed.

Ilwoo patted his wife's back once and went to the three. When he got in front of them, he bowed taking a deep breath before talking, "Thank you for everything. I don't know what would've happened if they gang up on Mr. Elliot alone. We couldn't help him."

Kingsley snorted and laughed. The girls behind him also chuckled, putting a confused look on the restaurant owner's face. "E-Excuse me, sir?"

"He defeated Elizabeth's spawn, then Jester," Kingsley said. "What's those pathetic Adventurers have anything against him? They're practically dead meat even if we didn't intervene."

"We didn't stop the fight for Elliot," Janine added with Susan nodding beside her. "We stopped it for those fools' sake. Elliot's gonna beat them to a pulp if they ever try to engage in a fight."

Ilwoo turned his head to Elliot, whispering, "H-He's really that strong?"

The three closed their eyes and nodded knowingly. In the top of everything, the strongest is always acknowledged. It was a thing that the bottom-tier Adventurers do not know of.

They think that the strongest would fight each other like beasts to show who's more superior when in fact, they could already tell if someone is indeed stronger than them even before they fight.

"Elliot has this talent of pure energy," Janine said. "And it's very explosive, and powerful. It's like a combination of everything."

"True," Susan frowned. "But someone like him is bound to make thoughtless decisions. I bet he's often injured or something."

"As a matter of fact, I do," Elliot chuckled.

Their conversation ended when the assistant, who's name was Korn, led the three Cosmic Arch guild members into their table. Jung was cleaning in the kitchen while Ilwoo brought Elliot there.

"What recipe do you need?" the man asked. Jung nodded to her husband and walked out, giving them their privacy. She went out to entertain their guests outside so they won't feel neglected.

"I have to see your recipe book," Elliot said. "I also do not know what."

Ilwoo nodded and went to the back. He took out a blue book from a chest and placed it on the table. "Here it is."

The book was thick and the paper was perishable. One look and you'd doubt if it survives when you turn a page over.

"I don't think I can flip the pages," Elliot chuckled awkwardly. Ilwoo shook his head and led the way, opening the book slowly.

"Tell me if you found it," Ilwoo said.

Elliot nodded in agreement, wathing the man flip the pages of the old book one by one. The recipes were complicated but they looked delicious from their illustrations. Elliot was gulping as they neared the end. Just a few pages left.

'Quest [ Kkeuner Dumplings ] completed.'
