I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 193: Azure Palace Guards Quest

The moment Elliot read the last part, he ran to his room and replaced his items in his Inventory. From the usual materials, he replaced them with potions and extra gear.

He will have to Pull all the other Guard Emblems for their strength to grow. It says that all the members of his party will enjoy the benefits, meaning if he add George, Ethan, Midnight and Sun in, they'll also gain the extra strength.

"What are you doing now?" Lance asked as he followed Elliot in his room. "It just dawned me how much you've crafted."

Elliot turned to him and smirked, remembering that he had reached Level 5 in Crafting, Level 4 in Forging and Level 8 in Brewing.

He brew a lot of potions, so naturally, it was the one with the highest level. For Forging, he didn't really forged a lot of weapons. He only got the XPs from repairs that he did after they go on quests and battles.

'New quest [ Azure Palace Guards ] available.'

A sigh of relief escape Elliot's lips. He didn't expecte the Manual to help him. It usually does its own thing, for its own entertainment, but it was helping him.

'A Note from the Manual.'

A Note? Elliot asked himself as he looked at the notification. He clicked on it and saw a short note for him.

[ I am only helping to watch you fight stronger people. ]

Elliot tilts his head to the side, reading the note with a pout. Usually, when it wants to say something, it will just say it through the male voice. Now it's only sending notes.

[ Azure Palace Guards

Reward: Azure Palace Guard Emblem

// Defeat a Knight from any Palace. ]

Just when Elliot thought the Manual was helping him, it does this. A Knight would require them to fight someone with the level of Malice's clone.

For even in the other realms, the Five Palaces of Terra is a place of terror. Elliot remembered when the Seductors from Inferno told him about how they were thankful that the Five Palaces were not in their Realm.

Two Kings would overpower an Eternal, the strongest being in a Realm. How the Almighty bestowed power upon these men and how the Abyss corrupted them was in all the ancient texts of all the Realms.

But this quest will help Elliot and his team a lot. Since he couldn't get his hands on any Azure Palace Beast, getting all the Pulls for the Azure Guard will benefit him and his allies. The quest said he will get the Emblem itself and that's worth five Pulls.

Then, their strength will have a 75% boost.

"Hope, let's go to Isabelle's shop first. We will use her portal for you to morph," Elliot said. "Grass Palace will be our first target. Then Sun, and lastly, Purple."

"Got it," Hope said and hooked his gear up. He strapped his greatsword on his back and watched Elliot give out instructions. Hope had a smile on his lips after seeing how motivated Elliot looked.

He really cared for his students. And this will be the only thing that he'll save one of them.

It was like a common trait for Elliot to become very helpful, even when he didn't fully know the person. When he and Connor met, he invite the latter in his house and told him about his secret. When he met Hope, he trusted him and even helped him live with the humans.

And he also saved Ed from a hole that the boy crawled inside out of isolation. Elliot pulled them out of the darkness with his bare hands, not caring about himself. It was stupidly heroic, Elliot was a stupid hero.

"What are we gonna do then?" Lance asked. "Are we gonna go somewhere? The Championship is in ten days."

"Even when we do it one Palace a day, we'd still make it," Elliot said. "Let's go."

Lance grabbed his wrists and made Elliot turn to him. "What do you mean Palace? You're gonna go to the Palaces?"

"I-I have a potion," Elliot said. "If we conquer each of the Sun, Grass, Purple Guards and one Knight from any of the three, I can provide our team a large increase in strength."

"How large?" Lance quirked his brow up.

"75% large," Elliot replied with full confidence. The room was filled with silent gasps and woahs.

75% is a game changer, no doubt about it. It's a huge difference and they needed that huge difference.

"Come on," Elliot said and hurried to Isabelle's shop. He got inside quickly, the bell on top of the door ringing that made the people inside snap their heads to their direction.

"Hello, Isabelle, I need to use your portal," Elliot said.

Kian was wiggling his brow, rolling his eyes to point at Alice who was with them inside the shop. Being the most powerful Caster class, Alice could do something that Isabell cannot, and she liked helping the woman in exchange for gems, so it was a win-win.

Kian suddenly pouted when Elliot did not even turn to him or even to Alice. It was like Elliot had a horse's helm up in his head, only seeing what's ahead of him.

"Sure, let's go inside," Isabelle told Elliot and led them to the door.

Kian saw Connor and took the boy to the side, whispering, "What's up with him? I thought he was interested in Alice?"

"He's like that when he's focused," Connor said. "He doesn't see anything apart from his goal."

"That's nice," Kian smirked. "Good. Okay. But after you're done, tell him Alice is kind of interested in him too."

"Really?" Connor gasped.

Kian shrugged and nodded. "Legit. She just told me. Not a second after he opened the door."

"Okay, I'll tell him," Connor said and passed through the portal last.

They were now inside Isabelle's large fields, bordered by forests and mountains.

"Okay, here you are," Isabelle said. "Just use the door when you come back. I'll keep it open."

"But what if someone attacks?" Elliot asked. "I mean, what if a bandit comes and see this door, opens it ans then–"

"Shh," Isabelle placed her finger on Elliot's lip. "I have detection charms all over the place. If I detect someone hostile, I will temporarily shut the portal off."

"Thank you," Elliot smiled. "Thank you, so, so much."

"Don't mention it," Isabelle smiled. "Now, you go do your mission and I'll be back with my work."

"Okay," Elliot said and let Hope morph into his dragon form. It was smaller and looked less formidable than the one he used against Braun, but he didn't cared much about the details.

What they needed now was to go. "Come on evryone, let's get this over with."
